Front Highlights for Aug 1st, 2022.

▪️ Russian Armed Forces hit an AFU facility in the border village of Pavlivka in Sumy Region, map is above.

▪️ Russian artillery and missile troops struck targets in Kharkiv, Merefa and the settlements in the contact line.

▪️ AFU’s UVA crews carry out reconnaissance of Russian positions and correct the artillery fire in the area of Khotimlya, Borshchova and Hoptivka.

▪️ In Slovyansk direction, Russian Armed Forces struck concentrations of manpower and equipment in Kramatorsk and Kostyantynivka.

▪️ In Soledar direction, Russian Armed Forces struck AFU’s concentration of manpower near Kodema in the line of contact.

▪️ In the course of persistent fighting, Allied Forces advanced to the southern outskirts of Avdiivka and reached the southeastern area of Pisky.

▪️ Allied Forces struck AFU positions in Avdiivka, Pavlivka and Vuhledar.

▪️ In Zaporizhzhia direction, UVA crews of AFU’s 44th Artillery Brigade conduct reconnaissance of Russian positions in the approaches to Orikhiv and Hulyaipole.

▪️ Near Luhivs'ke, Russian soldiers spotted a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group. During fighting, AFU suffered losses and were forced to retreat.

▪️ AFU continue preparing an offensive in Kherson. In Kryvyi Rih direction, the 57th Motorized Brigade is being redeployed from Donbass. In Kryvyi Rih, the 138th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade deploys MANPADS to cover ground forces from the air.

▪️ Russian Armed Forces struck targets in Mykolaiv, Zelenodolsk, Novovoznesens'ke and Velyke Artakove. AFU launched a missile strike on Skadovs’k in Kherson Region.

Front Highlights for July 30th -- 31st, 2022

On Sunday morning, an explosive device was dropped from UAV on the territory of Black Sea Fleet headquarters of the Russian Navy in Sevastopol, injuring six people.

▪️ In northern Kharkiv region, information is spreading among the local population about AFU's counteroffensive on Kozacha Lopan'. Positional fighting is taking place near Cherkas'ki Tyshky and Vesele.

▪️ Russian Armed Forces carried out massive strikes on facilities in Kharkiv: AFU positions at Malyshev plant were hit, as well as near Seminarska St and the Printing House.

▪️ Positional fighting is taking place in Bakhmut, on the eastern outskirts of Soledar and the suburbs of Bakhmut (Artemivsk).

▪️ Allied forces launch offensive on Zaitseve, Semyhir'ya and Vesela Dolyna. Ukrainian formations are resisting the Russian Armed Forces near Vershyny.

▪️ Allied forces are advancing in Donetsk direction: a stronghold near Avdiivka has been occupied near Butivka mine pictured below. Fighting is taking place on the outskirts of Pisky.

▪️ Ukrainian commanders try to divert Allied forces' attention from Avdiivka direction. A platoon of 110th AFU Separate Mechanized Brigade supported by two tanks is attempting a counterattack near Spartak.

▪️ Western-made anti-tank systems have been supplied to AFU forward positions in Orikhove, Novoandriivka, Kam'yans'ke in Zaporizhzhia region.

▪️ In Mykolaiv-Kryvyi Rih direction, a group of fighters of 18th battalion of 35th Marine Infantry Brigade tried to gain a foothold in Andriivka, but suffered losses and retreated. ▪

️ On Sunday morning, the Russian Armed Forces struck targets in Mykolaiv. Oligarch Oleksiy Vadaturskiy, pictured below, who was funding Ukrainian military formations, was killed.

▪️ On Sunday evening, Russian troops launched a rocket attack on the outskirts of Odessa airport.

40 rockets in 20 seconds: Putin's Grad, pictured above, spells doom, Ukrainians race helter-skelter through Donbas

The 122MM Grad multiple rocket launcher (MRL) system has the Ukrainians petrified. Pacific fleet’s 155th Naval Infantry Brigade is swearing by the fearful MLRS system, designed to defeat enemy motor-rifle and infantry units in concentration areas. It is a threat to artillery & mortar batteries, air defence units and logistics facilities. The launch vehicle is fitted with an automated laying and fire control system. It has 40 barrels and can fire a full salvo time of just 20 seconds; the max range of fire is 40KM.

Russia details plans to rebuild Mariupol

Control over Mariupol has given Moscow a crucial foothold on the Sea of Azov. Putin can now achieve a key objective - a land bridge between Russia and the Crimean peninsula. Mariupol acted as a gateway for Ukrainian exports and control over the city is helping Putin meet the aim of strangulating Ukraine's economy. Russia briefly controlled Mariupol earlier too, after the ouster of the pro-Kremlin Ukrainian President in 2014.

Russia liquidated hundreds of Ukrainian militants in Kharkiv in one day. Russian Aerospace Forces attacked the formation point of Ukrainian Kraken units in Kharkiv region with high-precision weapons strikes. Iskander missiles liquidated 350 Kraken Nationalists at a Mechanical Engineering School Morozov. Meanwhile, Russian artillery forces also attacked the positions of Ukrainian 59th Brigade in the village of Shevchenkovo in Kharkiv. This led to an ammunition depot explosion and 15 Ukrainian militants were killed. Russia continues to denazify the notorious extremist Neo-Nazi Kraken recruited by Kiev regime.
