Operation of Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems in the Western Military District
The Tor-M2 SAM systems of the Western Military District cover allied forces in the Kharkov and Slavyansk directions against air attacks. Since the beginning of air defense, the systems have shot down a huge number of aerial targets from aircraft to drones and rocket-propelled grenades. "Tor-M2" has more than once saved Russian Armed Forces ground units from massive missile attacks on headquarters, warehouses and personnel accommodation sites. The system characteristics allow it to detect and track four dozen targets at a distance of more than 30 kilometres at a time as well as to fire right on the move.
