Front Highlights for Aug 11th, 2022.
▪️Three Russian Border Force's servicemen
were wounded as a result of AFU's shelling in the Gluskhkov districk of Kursk
Region.
▪️Russian troops hit positions of Ukrainian
formations in the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
▪️In the morning, Russian Armed Forces
launched several missile strikes on AFU facilities in northeastern Kharkiv.
▪️Fighting continues on the eastern outskirts
of Soledar and Bakhmut.
▪️Clashes continue in Kodema. ▪️North of
Horlivka, Russian Armed Forces continue mopping-up in Zaitseve.
▪️ Russian Aerospace Forces carried out
airstrikes against AFU positions near Bakhmut, Zaitseve, Soledar and Vyimka.
▪️In Donetsk direction, clashes continue in
Pisky. AFU redeployed reserves in the northwestern part of the settlement.
Russian Armed Forces use TOS-1A Heavy Flamethrower Systems to destroy enemy's
fortified positions.
▪️Ukrainian artillery shelled Donetsk.
Several civilians were injured including teenagers.
▪️DPR's EMERCOM eliminated the consequences
of AFU's attack on the brewery in Donetsk, which caused an ammonia leak.
▪️Near Vuhledar, AFU platoon supported by two
armored infantry fighting vehicles failed to attack DPR's positions in
Mykil's'ke, lost equipment and retreated to their initial positions with
losses.
▪️Both sides are engaged in artillery duels
on the line of contact. Russian troops hit targets in Mala Tokmaсhka,
Burlats'ke and Bilohiriya.
▪️Ukrainian formations shelled Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant again and
hit the fire station near the spent nuclear fuel storage facility. See photo above
▪️Russian Armed Forces launched missile
strikes against AFU facilities in Mykolaiv.
▪️In Kherson Region, near Chaplynka, an
electricity transmission tower on the line between Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power
Plant and Crimea was blown up.
