Ukraine War SITREP For Aug. 25, 2022

Front Highlights for Aug 25th, 2022

▪️In Kursk Region, an attempt to undermine the railway track was made on the line Klyukva-Kursk.

▪️In the northern Kharkiv Region, Russian Armed Forces struck a concentration of enemy manpower and equipment in Bohodukhiv, Merefa, Tsyrkuny and other settlements.

▪️In Soledar, LPR People’s Militia's 6th Cossak Regiment is fighting on the outskirts of Belokamenskiy Refractory Plant and Zalevskoho Street.

▪️Ukrainian units failed the attempts to counterattack in several areas near Bakhmut (Artemivsk), suffered losses and retreated.

▪️In the eastern part of Bakhmut (Artemivsk), Wagner's PMC units are fighting in urban areas.

▪️Ukrainian formations launched massive strikes on towns in the Donetsk agglomeration. Civilians including children injured and killed.

▪️Russian Aerospace Forces continue strikes against identified AFU firing points and fortifications near Mar'inka, Krasnohorivka and Nevel's'ke.

▪️Near Vuhledar, Allied Forces repelled another unsuccessful counterattack by Ukrainian forces resulting in enemy losses and their retreat to previous positions.

▪️Near Zaporizhzhia NPP, another strike by AFU provoked a strong fire. The plant was disconnected from the power grid. The power supply of the liberated areas in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions was disrupted.

▪️In Kryvyi Rih area of the front, AFU units once again failed to storm the positions of Russian Armed Forces in Vysokopillya, suffered losses and retreated.

▪️Russian Aerospace Forces launched a strike with high-precision weapons against Mirhorod military airfield in Poltava Region, photo above, and hit, as preliminary reported, five AFU combat aircrafts.

▪️Missile strikes also targeted AFU military infrastructure in the Vyshhorod district of Kyiv Region.
