The Watchman On The Wall

The Watchman On The Wall
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Verse 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Who Benefits From The War In Ukraine? Aug. 31, 2022

"If Russia has been bled and Ukraine has suffered irretrievable losses of land and soldiers, who then are the winners?

And who benefits from a continuation of this war, which will bring thousands more dead and wounded Russians and Ukrainians?"

"There never was a good war or a bad peace," wrote Ben Franklin at the end of the American Revolution.

But that depends on the war-makers and the causes for which they fight.

Six months ago, Feb. 24th,  Putin launched the war in Ukraine. He could not get the U.S. or Kiev to rule out admission of Ukraine to a NATO alliance aimed against Russia.

Who are the winners and who are the losers in this war?

Russia has made big gains in the east of Ukraine, the Donbas and in the South adjacent to Crimea, captured Mariupol, and turned the Sea of Azov into a Russian lake.

The flagship of Russia's Black Sea fleet, the cruiser Moskva, has been sunk.

Politically, Russia has been isolated from much of Europe, been hit with useless sanctions and watched as the EU and NATO united against it.

Sweden and Finland have abandoned their historic neutrality to become the 31st and 32nd members of NATO.

Keep in mind Reagan and Gorbachev made a deal. Gorbachev agreed to rip down the “Iron Curtain” and withdraw Russian troops from eastern Europe and return them to mother Russia. Reagan agreed not to expand NATO eastward. At that time 17 nations were in NATO. Subsequently American Presidents have poked at the Russian bear and under Putin the Russin bear came out of hibernation to protect its cubs, ethnic Russians in the Donbass. For eight years (2014 to 2022), Putin tolerated the Ukrainian Nazis (Azovs) who were bombarding Putin’s kin folk in the Donbass.

Here is some food for thought. Zelenskyy is a Jew and he is aligned with Nazis. Furthermore, why hasn’t Israel spoken against the Ukrainian Nazis? You already know my answer, the worst enemy of a Godly Jew is a godless Jew.

Now, Is Ukraine winning of this war? Yes, if you listen to Biden, NATO, EU and Dept. of Defense propaganda. However, I watch this “stand-off”  war on YouTube every day. The Ukrainians are getting slaughtered. Like Lincoln in our Civil War Putin has finally found Russian generals who can kick Ukrainian butt.

Moreover there is a reason 10 million Ukrainians have fled their corrupt country. They just want to live in peace. 3.6 million Ukrainians have gone to Russia and this week Putin gave them full rights and benefits as Russian citizens, including pensions. It doesn’t sound to me like Putin hates Ukrainians.

According to the war propaganda, the war that the Ukraine of Volodymyr Zelenskyy is fighting (against a larger, meaner Russia) is for its freedom, independence and territorial integrity. Hence, Zelenskyy has won the admiration of much of the world.

Yet, in two clashes with Russia, in 2014 and 2022, Ukraine has lost 20% of its territory in its east and south, and Kiev is not going to retrieve these lost lands.

But if Russia has been bled and Ukraine has suffered irretrievable losses of land and soldiers, who then are the winners?

And who benefits from a continuation of this war, which will cause thousands more dead and wounded Russians and Ukrainians?

I would say imperialist America, aggressive NATO (now the military arm of the New World Order [NWO]) and Klaus Schwab and his energy war against “fossil fuel” Putin.

Follow the money folks, there is a lot of it to be stolen in Ukraine in terms of aid, bribes, corruption and stolen military equipment. The Democrats not only steal elections to stay in power, they and their Rhino allies de-stabilize countries and steal that country’s natural resources, oil and gold, e.g. Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Ukraine etc.

One of the saddest part of this war is that fat, lazy and dumb Americans sit back while their government steals billions from them. The U.S. infrastructure is falling apart while the U.S. wastes billions and trillions on fruitless, bloody wars.

Is this new Cold War II with Russia, into which we appear to have plunged, in the national interest of a United States that so welcomed the peaceful end of the old Cold War three decades ago?

Of what benefit to the U.S. is the sending of troops to the Baltic republics, Romania, Poland etc.?

Are we stronger, safer, more secure, now that we have committed to fight Russia to defend the 830-mile Finnish-Russian border, something no Cold Warrior of an earlier era would have dreamt of doing?

Are we better off because all the nations of the Warsaw Pact and three republics of the old USSR are now NATO allies for whose independence we are now committed to fight against Russia?

China and the USSR sign friendship pact

Is the revival of the Sino-Soviet pact, (Stalin and Mao above) aimed at the West in the 1950s and now aimed at NATO and our Asian allies, something we should welcome? Have not our own post-Cold War policies contributed mightily to reviving the old Cold War Russia-China alliance against us?

One thing the U.S. and NATO have achieved: the world once dominated by Pax Americana is now gone. In September 1945 the U.S. had no enemies, (the USSR was not an enemy yet) Today, the U.S. has enemies everywhere! I can remember as a kid President Eisenhower visiting Afghanistan (see the link below) and he was welcomed as a hero in an open motorcade. Do you think  Brandon could do that today or Hillary or Bill Clinton, Obama or even Trump?  Hell no, we Americans are hated there now and in many other countries.

Where President Richard Nixon appeared to split Mao's China from the USSR, this generation of American leaders appears to have restored that hostile duopoly with India added to the mix.

Putin was a Russian KGB agent during the Cold War. Now every member state of the former Warsaw Pact and three constituent republics of the USSR of that era are NATO allies of the United States.

This is the new Cold War. Is Putin responsible for igniting it?

Our highest goal in the first Cold War with Russia was the avoidance of a hot, war that could escalate to a nuclear war and destroy both nations (MADD).

Now that we are again in a hostile state of relations with Moscow as we were then, how can this be the result of a successful foreign policy?

In the first Cold War, Eastern Europe and the Baltic States were accepted as satellites of the Soviet Union. Communism had been imposed upon them all after World War II.

But that was not a cause for military conflict between us.

When we brought virtually all of Eastern Europe into NATO, we were the ones, not Putin, who made their independence of Moscow and alliance with the West a matter for which we committed ourselves to go to war.

As Russians and Ukrainians kill one another in the Donbas, and hatred of Russians for Americans grows, how is that good for the USA?

Perhaps we ought to invest as much time and energy trying to end this war as we do to defeat and humiliate Russia, which will not bring us peace.

We also need to weed out corruption here, President Kennedy and President Trump tried that and looked what happened to them. We are fighting the most serious war in our history right here at home and I must say we are not winning.

The rest of the world, minus Europe, is fed up with U.S. At some point our “petro dollar” and economic dominance will disappear.

You know what?

After it all said and done like the fruitless wars before it: Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria etc. America will throw the “dancing bi-sexual” Zelenskyy under the bus and walk away, having achieved nothing but more de-stabilization in the world and world “genderfication”.

Finally and sadly our government is no longer the envy of the world. The world has caught up with and in some cases passed the U.S. Just look at the skylines in Taipei, Singapore, Tokyo. Dubai etc. and compare that to our cities where homeless and “doped up” citizens loiter around like in Detroit, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, etc. God help us, we surely need His help.
