Front Highlights for Aug 10th, 2022
▪️Russian Armed Forces retaliated to the Tetkino
checkpoint shelling with strikes on the border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv
regions.
▪️Ukrainian sabotage reconnaissance groups blew
up a power line near Liubitskoe, the Kusrk region, and did minor damage to
railroad tracks between Lgov and Sudzha.
▪️Artillery duels are taking place in the
Slovyansk direction. The
3rd Motorized Rifle Division’s artillerists destroyed a Ukrainian M777 howitzer
near Nikolske.
▪️In Verkhn'okam'yans'ke, near Sivers’k, fighting
is underway. Russian Armed Forces dug in near the eastern borders and are
advancing to the city center.
▪️The LPR’s People’s Militia’s 6th Cossack Regiment is stepping up the attack towards the Belokamenskiy refractory plant in Soledar.
▪️The Allied Forces are fighting in Bakhmuts'ke and near Yakovlivka east
of Soledar.
▪️On the eastern outskirts of Bakhmut
(Artemivsk), Wagner’s PMC forward units are encountering the enemy.
▪️North of Horlivka, Russian Armed Forces advanced to Zaitseve and took
several Ukrainian soldiers prisoner.
▪️In the Donetsk direction, the Allied Forces are
participating in trench fighting in Pisky.
▪️Russian Armed Forces launched a strike on the
Khortitsya battalion’s base in Kushuhum in the Zaporizhzhia outskirts.
▪️Russian units engaged the AFU’s targets in the
outskirts of Dnipro and near Marhanets', the Dnipropetrosvk Region.
▪️At night, Ukrainian HIMARS MLRSs hit the Kakhovka Hydroelectric
Power Plant. Several rockets were shot down by the air defence. The bridge is
operating normally and is open to traffic.
▪️At night, the Russian artillery launched a
strike on the targets in Mykolaiv. In Halytsynove, the 28th Mechanized
Brigade’s base was damaged, there are losses manpower and equipment.
