Debunking the "Debunkers" - Russian HIMARS Claims
Just the facts . One clear indication of the success Russia
has had in destroying tanks and APC's is that in the beginning many videos
showed Ukrainians in these armoured vehicles but now videos mostly show
Ukrainian troops in civilian cars and trucks. This is very obvious and quite
telling even if impressionistic. Thanks for the update and for fighting the
propaganda.
I was kind of shocked about how much hype the M777 howitzer
got in the Western Media. Most artillery officers hate towed systems because of
their fixed firing positions and most crews won't displace by the time counter
battery fire arrives. The preference is with more modern artillery systems like
the PzH 2000 because it can "shoot-and-scoot." HIMARS is an effective
system, but Russia has its own competitor- the 9A52-4 Tornado- and in larger
quantities. Perpetuating the myth of the Western Wunderwaffe won't help the
West if they go to war against a near-peer competitor.
Once the Russians have adapted their radars to identify the
HIMARS projectiles during flight, it's simply a matter of quartering the search
area with drones against the movement of the system. The possible search area
is reduced with each firing iteration. Detection is a mathematical certainty.
Up to 250 foreign fighters, seven armored
vehicles, and 12 special vehicles were destroyed, they were destroyed in an
attack on the village of Konstantinovka in Donetsk. 10 Ukrainian installations
of Grad multiple launch rocket systems were destroyed in a strike on a railway
facility. Also two Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopters were destroyed. The first Polish
Krab self-propelled howitzer supplied to the Kiev regime was destroyed in
Ukraine. The details of the Polish howitzer’s destruction in Ukraine were not
disclosed.
Destroying is an understatement. Looks more
like they're being disintegrated.
I think denial is the first phase of grief.
Like is
said before. Smerch is like HIMARS without its 300kms rocket. Iskander is more than HIMARS in its 300kms configuration. Iskander can fire both cruise missiles and hypersonic missiles. In other words, HIMARS is just another hype like Bayraktars. Ask yourself,
what happened to Bayraktars?
These
big systems have to be imported. Aerial photos can track their progress across the country. Also, specially feature detection software can scan images for
'interesting' objects. Finally, there seem to be 100s of government workers,
including security staff, who are providing Russia with info.
The issue here is not the ability of the
equipment ( HIMARS) to strike with accuracy, It is the Ukrainian army that aims
on civilian buildings and markets. So the HIMARS are the priority for the
Russian army to take care.
Even before parsing the “truck” image, a
simple question arose: why was the drone operator following the truck so
diligently?
I remember before I found your channel. All I
had was the media. It felt really bad to listen to the news . I felt like I was
being told how to think. I felt like nothing made sense. I noticed Ukraine was
reported like they are demigods. I noticed they could do no wrong. They were
ignoring the pain of Russian people as well. They didn't care. That opened my
eyes to found channels that actually reported they facts.
Western Мedia:
1. "There is no destroyed HIMAR"
2. After 1 month: "Some HIMAR may have been
destroyed"
3. After 2 months: "There are destroyed HIMAR"
4. After 3 months: "The destroyed HIMARs were
made in China"
You would NEVER see any analysis like this on
the Canadian CBC broadcaster. The anti-Russia bias at the CBC is extreme. How anyone trusts what the USA says or does is beyond me. The Canadian CBC broadcaster is a loyal, submissive USA stenographer dutifully repeating what it is told to say, just like Canadian conservative and liberal governments.
Some people can't accept that their Wonder Weapons, "Wonderwaffel", can't be destroyed.
Russian reporters also claimed that it was a howitzer with Digital Gun Management System (possibly australian or canadian, because US-native m777s came to Ukraine without advancing eletronic systems).
Everybody can see cables and sockets of dismatled DCS system, which was being researched by russian military possibly.
Bayraktar, Javelins, Nlaws, M777 and now HIMARS. Flavor of the month. Also Bayraktar got a song, where is HIMARS song?
About the M777, I'm reading that the GPS onboard allows Russia to
locate and then destroy them. I guess it needs to transmit it's position on the GPS and that allows location detection. French source Avia Pro.
