Israel says it's sending military reinforcements to southern Israel. It's calling up 300,000 reservists and is preparing for a major assault. The military is reporting it has re-taken control of border towns which were overrun by Hamas fighters. The army says some isolated fighting is ongoing. The total strength of the Israeli army is 175,000 active duty and 465,000 reservists.
