including the New York Times, is attempting to portray the mobilization as a
disaster. However - even other sources in the West admit that many of the
problems pointed out are shared by all nations mobilizing (including Ukraine)
and that Russia will adapt as the process continues.

Oct 19, 2022 In a first televised address, since being named the Russian
general of forces in Ukraine, Sergei Surovikin said that the situation was
particularly difficult around the occupied southern city of Kherson. The new
commander, also known as 'General Armageddon', announced that civilians were
being 'resettled' from the Russian-occupied southern city. “Further actions and
plans regarding the city of Kherson will depend on the developing
military-tactical situation, which is not easy. We will act consciously, in a

Russian jet fires
missile near British aircraft over Black sea; Moscow says 'technical
malfunction'
Oct 20, 2022 A missile was released from a Russian aircraft near an
unarmed Royal Air Force plane. The Russian jet fired a missile while the
British plane was on a routine patrol over the Black Sea. The British Defence
Minister says the incident occurred on the 29th of September. The minister said
that the incident was potentially a dangerous engagement, but it was not deemed
a deliberate escalation. Russia has acknowledged the incident took place in
international airspace. Moscow said the incident over the Black Sea was a

Oct 20, 2022 U.S, angered by NATO member Turkey's new energy deal with
Russia, rushed officials to Ankara for talks. American officials pressed
Turkish officials and business leaders into complying with Washington’s
anti-Russian sanctions. This comes after the US issued the country several
warnings. Turkish president Erdogan has continued to deepen ties with Russia,
meeting president Putin four times in the past four months. Most recently,
Erdogan agreed to Putin’s proposal to create an international gas transit hub
in Turkey after a meeting in Kazakhstan.

Oct 20, 2022 Russia has now warned the United Nations against launching a
probe into the alleged use of Iran-made Kamikaze drones in Ukraine. Russia also
denied using Iranian drones in its war against Ukraine, echoing Iran's claims.
Russia's remarks came after the U.S, France and Britain held a closed-door
meeting at the UN Security Council to sanction Iran for 'fuelling Russia's
war.' Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky, meanwhile, said that his men had

Oct 20, 2022 Ukraine is restricting electricity usage nationwide for the
first time following a barrage of Russian missile and drone attacks that have
destroyed power plants in Ukraine. President Zelensky said that three power
grids were destroyed by Russian forces in 24 hours. As a result, supply will be
restricted between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. Fighting has intensified after Russia
launched its heaviest missile and drone attacks on Ukraine's power and water

Oct 20, 2022 Israel has said that it won't arm Ukraine, two days after
former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev warned Tel Aviv against any 'reckless

systems to Ukraine but would help the war-torn nation build its own. Israel has

Oct 19, 2022 Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared martial law in
four 'annexed' regions of Ukraine. Putin's order to introduce military rule in
the Moscow-controlled regions also gives additional power to authorities in
Russian border areas. It comes at a time when the fighting has intensified in
the battleground. Putin's decree extends additional powers to limit movement,
censor and strengthen curfew in these regions.

Oct 19, 2022 Sanna Marin provokes Putin, more Finnish weapons seen with
the Ukrainian military. Sirpalekäsikranaatti M/50 FRAG hand grenade used by the
Ukrainian Armed Forces. Finland was militarily non-aligned; public opinion
shifted towards joining NATO. Putin's aggression in Ukraine has pushed Finland

Russia's SU-57 stealth fighter strikes Ukrainian SU-27 with
long-range missile
Oct 19, 2022 A Russian media report claims that a Ukrainian fighter jet
was shot down with an R-37M missile, seemingly by the fifth generation Su-57
stealth fighter jet. The report claims that the Russian fighter jet achieved

Russian Kamikaze strikes spell doom
Oct 18, 2022 Amid deadly Russia drone strikes, the Ukraine government has
developed a long-range capability drone. State-owned defence holding firm
Ukroboronprom has said that the new drone is nearing completion. The company
also released an image of what appeared to be part of the nosecone of a drone.
With a weight of 75KG warhead, the Ukrainian version of the Kamikaze drone will

Iran 'to supply more drones & missiles' to Russia;
Oct 18, 2022 Iran 'has promised to provide Russia' with missiles, in
addition to more drones. The major decision was disclosed by two senior Iranian
officials and two Iranian diplomats during a conversation with the news agency
Reuters. The officials said a deal was agreed on October 6, when Iran's First
Vice President Mohammad Mokhber, two senior officials from the IRGC and an
official from the National Security Council visited Moscow for talks on the
delivery of weapons. The officials told Reuters that in a maximum of 10 days,
two to three shipments with Iranian missiles and additional drones will be
sent. The move is set to infuriate the United States and other western powers.
