al, Deputy Sheriff Lena Nicole Marshall responded to a "domestic situation" from a home in Hoschton, Georgia, at 9:20 p.m. on November 8, 2021, and little did she know she would become the victim. She was shot from inside the house as she stood on the porch, and later died from her injuries. Deputy Sheriff Marshall was simply trying to protect her community – now, another family is left shattered, and another community is in mourning. This incident makes Deputy Marshall 1 of 412 officers who have fallen in the line of duty this year. I have seen too many officers killed in the line of duty, and too many families left with nothing but grief, trying to move forward together. I started the National Fallen Officer Foundation to try and help these families, and I need your support to make that happen. The threat of violence is what officers – and their families – live with every day, and The National Fallen Officer Foundation exists today to take care of the families of fallen officers. Our sole focus is to see to it that her family is taken care of when they need it the most—right now. Deputy Marshall’s family has sacrificed enough, and if we have the support, we will do everything we can to provide for them. We are solely dependent on the generous tax-deductible gifts from concerned citizens like you to continue this support, and we ask that you consider a donation of $35 or more today. You may not have known Deputy Marshall, but you can still make a difference for her family. We are counting on you – please don't delay. Donate today. For Our Officers,
