Q. Re: ISIS, Islam, And The End Times. How can Islam led by
ISIS be the end times dominant religion when the Bible clearly states that
there will be an amalgamation of all religions led by the false prophet?
ISIS isn’t even representative of most of ISLAM, though it seems to be growing,
and I can’t see Israel accepting this Godless religion on any terms.
(Notice, in the map above the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant is Sham. See my article and video concerning Obama's use of ISIL.)
A.
Remember, I didn’t say the IS brand of Islam will be the dominant religion, I
said if they aren’t stopped soon, they could become the vehicle through which
the anti-Christ comes to power. In other words IS could be his army.
I don’t remember the Bible saying there will be an amalgamation of all
religions. I do know it says the whole world will worship the dragon
(Satan) and the beast (anti-Christ) in Rev. 13:4-8.
Also, everyone seems to forget that when the anti-Christ officially
reveals himself, all the believing Jews will flee (Matt. 24:15). It’s only the unbelievers who will remain. Isaiah 28:15 tells us that in an
unsuccessful attempt to save themselves, they will do what everybody thinks
they won’t.
You boast, “We have entered into a covenant with death, with Sheol we
have made an agreement. When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by, it cannot
touch us, for we have made a lie our refuge and falsehood our hiding place.”
The Lord will respond,
“Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with Sheol will not stand. When the overwhelming scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it”(Isaiah 28:18).
I
believe this speaks of the end times when unbelieving Jews will side with the
anti-Christ, hoping to save themselves. And whatever the end times religion is
it won’t be Judaism or Christianity. As I’ve said before, after the
rapture Islam will be in the best position to become the world’s religion.
“Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with Sheol will not stand. When the overwhelming scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it”(Isaiah 28:18).
