There is lots
going on in the Middle East. Keep your eyes on God’s center piece Jerusalem. We have the Pope visiting Israel in late May, probably
to re-claim Roman Catholic properties from Israel. This is sad but some Jews are selling out Israel to the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) and others. The European boycott is effecting Israel's huge export business and some Jewish businessmen want to give up Israel's land in order to restore their business relationship with Europe. Remember, the RCC believes the Church has replaced the Jews in God’s eyes. The Book
of Revelation is not in the RCC Bible! Obama
wants the peace agreement inked sometime in April. Damascus and Syria have not
gone away. The 50 year Jewish jubilee is in 2017. The Shmittah for the U.S. is
in 2015. I wonder what harbinger God will send this time. On top of that if you
think this frigid Winter is normal it is not. Our bad weather is linked to our
policy of giving away God’s coveted land of Israel.
Pastor
Mark Biltz made this amazing discovery in 2008. Biltz had been studying
prophecies that focus on the sun and moon. These prophecies are God’s
signal to his Chosen people and Christians, like 'one if by land, two if by
sea.' The Hebrew word implies it's a signal for coming or His appearing. Pastor
Biltz is correct these signals are divine appointments. A series of 4 blood
moons is a warning to the nation of Israel while the 2 solar eclipses in
between are warning to the world.
Last year the
History Channel featured the television event, “The Bible Series,” which
was produced by Roma Downey and her husband Mark Burnett. This show captivated
audiences and became the talk of many churches. Churches even purchased pre-written
sermons to go along
with the show, which according to outreach.com made it into 180,000 churches.
Roma
and Mark were endlessly interviewed in Christian magazines, and on Christian
radio. They claimed they were sold out Christians and believers filled
with the Holy Spirit. Churches bought it and they
promoted it.
And yet, as I watched “The
Bible Series,” I personally became frustrated because they only scratched the surface of great Bible stories. Then I found out how they twisted the word of God. They not only omitted things for the sake of
time but changed the theme, the message, and the nature of Bible characters,
and the nature of God Himself. That is unforgivable and God
will judge that.
“The Bible Series,” was different than the Bible, the truth of God. I began to wonder about what message it was sending to people that don’t know God. See the article: The Bible Series on the History Channel turned the word of God into Hebrew Myth.
I thought Roma Downey and Mark Burnett were like me and my wife but now I know they are fake
Christians.
They
are full on New Agers.
A friend sent me a blog last week. The woman who wrote the blog mentioned that Roma Downey has some New Age ties. I sensed a red flag and
I followed up on her sources and did my own research. I found out Roma Downey deceived the church
when she went on Focus on the Family. She went on Christian Radio and pretended
to be a the same kind of Christian that I am. There is room for differences
in the body of Christ, but their New Age paganism falls outside true doctrine.
Roma was quoted in an article
talking about how she listens to books on tape by Eckart Tolle. She said, “I get my own
selections on the radio in the car, books on tape by Eckhart Tolle, Tony
Robbins…” She goes on to say, “My husband says I’m so self-realized I’m
practically levitating.’” Really? If you are not familiar with Eckart Tolle. He is a New Age teacher who twists the
Bible and adds it to his Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, Shintoist philosophy. He is a false teacher when it
comes to Christianity. Charlie Campbell has a list of his
troubling statements.
Aside from her VERY questionable
theological beliefs, Roma has gone to the University of Santa Monica to get a
degree in “Spiritual Psychology.” When I looked it up, the University of Santa Monica is not just a school like
Cal Poly or USC that people from all walks of life go to. When you click on
their home page you will see that it specializes in New
Age degrees.
When you go to the page entitled
“What is Spiritual Psychology?”
you will see that they are indeed promoting New Age ideas. Here is a quote, “Spiritual
Psychology is the study and practice of the art and science of human evolution
in consciousness.” It goes on to say, “Put another
way, Spiritual Psychology is a technology that empowers students to convert
their everyday life experiences into rungs on the ladder of Spiritual
Evolution.”

Do
you think that has anything to do with Jesus dying on the cross for your sins?
So we can evolve spiritually? There ain't no way Abner Doubleday. Roma is spouting blasphemy. What kind of Christian happens to be so self-realized that Roma levitates? Roma, the Bible says we are filthy rags. Doesn't Roma realize that we are all dirt, that we are all sinners. A human being can’t evolve spiritually, because if you could Jesus wouldn’t
have had to come to earth and die on the cross for our sins. Doesn't Roma realize that the
Bible is the best book on “Spiritual Psychology”? The Bible won’t baby
you, or flatter you–but it will give you the truth and give you hope that only exists in Jesus Yeshua Hamaschiach.
So
this New Age woman and her husband go on Focus on the Family and laugh
and talk about the Holy Spirit and their love for the Bible, and the call that
God placed on their lives to make a Hollywood movie of the Bible.
Then they wanted all their Hollywood friends to promote
the series on Twitter. For some reason John Edward from “Crossing
Over” tweeted that he didn’t need to be a psychic to know that this series is
going to be spectacular! And some of Roma's other New Age friends like P-Diddy, Christian Aguilera, Jane Lynch, Sarah
Ferguson Duchess of York, Adam Levine, and Shakira just so happened to really
love the Bible also. Are they some of the Christians
in Hollywood that Roma talked about in her interview?
Then some of my friends told me, after watching The Bible Series that it was good but they noticed a few things that were different. So to them I guess it is okay that it is
different from the Bible. A series called the Bible and it is different than
the Bible. Wow, that is strange.

Roma Downey was even on TV with her famous psychic friend Jonathan Edwards
talking to her dead mother. This is a practice called necromancy, which is
forbidden in the Bible, at least for real Christians. God hates this.
Roma Downey has talked
to her mother through a psychic on live TV. The "Touched By An Angel" star was a guest on a celebrity version of the US psychic show "Crossing Over", hosted by
medium John Edward. Roma’s mother Maureen died of a heart attack hen Roma was 10 and Roma was heartbroken that she was never able to tell her how
much she loved her. So she jumped at an offer from the producers of the show to speak to her mum using Edwards for the connection.
And
her connections to psychic Jonathan Edwards do not end there, she even went on
to partner with him in a book he wrote. Does this sound like someone you would
invite to teach in your church?
Psychic

Not only has Downey used and
endorsed John Edward’s occult practices, she has assisted him with a book on
praying based on heretical Catholic practices. In the book Edwards encourages
readers to “pray the rosary” a practice of holding a Catholic Crucifix necklace
and uttering repetitive chants in prayers to Mary, the mother of Jesus. This practice is sinful for several reasons. Christians
are not to communicate with the dead. Whether it is a relative, someone from
the Bible or a celebrity, any attempts to speak with the dead is necromancy.
Secondly, Mary was just a normal person. We are not to pray to her, hail her or
seek anything from God through Mary. 1 Timothy 2:3 says: “For there is one God, and one
mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” It is Jesus
Christ who is our advocate with God The Father. He is our High Priest who we
take our prayers too.
These people are liars. They have a
history of twisting the Word of God in ways that change the message of the
gospel and the nature, character, holiness, righteousness, and justice of God. What they do with the Bible is terrible.
Because this film is being handed to us
as a “tool of evangelism” and a way to give Jesus to people who do not go to
church, isn’t it important that we make sure we are giving them the real Jesus
and not Hollywood Jesus?

What if millions of people walk away from this film with a false understanding of Jesus Christ? And what if the Church doesn’t notice this as much because we are already so familiar with Jesus, that we may subconsciously fill in the gaps of the story, but the unsaved cannot do that. They don’t have the prior reference to be able to do that.
I think this “Son of God” film is
outright dangerous. It should be treated the same way we treat Mormon and
Jehovah’s Witness material. Yes they talk about Jesus. Think about it, they share our same Bible
stories but they have twisted the gospel, the nature of God and
the nature of Christ.
We
have seen enough from “The Bible Series” already to convince us that Roma and her husband are
going to give the New Age Gospel.

Shell said some really important
things about how Roma and her husband portray two important moments in the life of Christ,
On John the
Baptist: Prior
to being beheaded John exclaims “He [Jesus] will bring a new age of righteousness and justice. His
[Jesus’] power will draw all men to a new world.”This entire
statement is very new-age and doctrinally false. Jesus is not interested in
social reform. He’s interested in reconciling utterly sinful human beings to a
holy, righteous and good God through: His substitutionary death for sinful man,
His resurrection of new life for those who’ve repented and trusted in Him, and
a glorious eternal life spent in the presence of the Almighty once we’ve
completed our sojourn here on earth. Jesus did not come to earth, die, be
resurrected and ascended to the right hand of the Father so we could have a
“better life” here on earth.
On The Last Supper: While the actor who portrays Jesus says the bread is the body of Christ and the wine is Jesus’ blood, he never says the most important thing: it is for the forgiveness of sins (Matt 26:28). Though all of Scripture points to the Gospel, in this mini-series, there is no Gospel message; only a message of man’s power to have enough “faith” to see himself through and lead others to a “better place”.
This new film will probably closely
follow the events in “The Bible Series.” They filmed both projects at the same
time. Which means that the Jesus story will be similar. We can expect to
find a watered down social gospel, and a great commission to change the world. Roma and her husband want to change the world's idea of what Jesus came for.
Further, why is the Jesus they picked a "hunk"?
Jesus, the Bible says, was plain, not good looking. “He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.” Isaiah 53:2. Look at these people in the picture. He is made into a Hebrew Justin Bieber. Our Lord did not come to find superficial worship and tempt women into lust. He was normal looking. You couldn’t look at His disciples and Him and know which one was Jesus. His beauty came from who He was. But that is not good enough for Hollywood. Because they do worship celebrity and beauty, so their Jesus has to be super cute. Friends, the Jesus of Hollywood’s Bible is not my Jesus but I am not that upset about that. I expect that from Hollywood. Let the world make their own gods, their own idols, and their own images to worship–the world always has.

gets under my skin is the church. What bothers me is the fact that Focus on the
Family promoted this series and gave spotlight to two false teachers in an
interview. I was fooled and tricked. That is why satan is the greatest liar. What bothers me is that the Church did not verify that these
people are New Agers.
What also bothers me is that many of my friends don’t get it. They don’t see that there are reasons we don’t have non-Christians teach Bible studies in church. There are also reasons we shouldn’t drool all over ourselves when we see Hollywood interested in the best book ever written. But the church should not promote something that is not Biblically sound. It is simply a different, false Jesus.

Money Money Money
Rick Warren is renting out movie
theaters for it. Which is no surprise. I mean he is really a New Ager
and a New World Order promoter himself.
Many religious leaders are citing the movie as a natural opportunity to evangelize. Warren may have a vested interest in the film, since he wrote a curriculum tied to the movie that was published by LifeWay Christian Resources.
The producers Burnett and Roma Downey, have enlisted interdenominational support from religious leaders such
as Texas mega church pastor T.D. Jakes and Roman Catholic Archbishop Jose
Gomez of Los Angeles.
“There
aren’t many things that could garner this kind of support,” Burnett said.
“People are going to watch the movie collectively, in community.”
After Mel Gibson’s “The Passion
of the Christ” made $612 million, observers expected to see
more films about Jesus. Several upcoming Bible-related films are
now in the pipeline.
While evangelicals are often
credited with shoring up support for movies like “The Passion of the Christ”
and “Fireproof,” Washington Cardinal Donald Wuerl has commissioned discussion
guides and videos for Catholic churches and schools, and Archbishop Thomas
Wenski of Miami is planning to rent a theater for thousands of Catholics in
Miami. This
is huge. It is Ecumenical and interdenominational. It is drawing the Olsteens, the
Catholic Archbishops, the Warren camp. T.D. Jakes, etc. So many big name religious leaders and false teachers are putting money into it and probably
making a lot money out of it.
Liberty
University invited Downey and Burnett to speak and give a special screening of
the movie. Compassion International is helping to pack movie theaters too.
The couple was at the Passion Conference in Houston earlier this month promoting the movie. It seems that even some popular pastors in the Calvary Chapel movement
are promoting it as well. Dave Rolph, who is on KWVE radio, posted on his
facebook this week:
I
saw the movie “Son of God” yesterday. (It will hit the theaters February 28th.)
I’m praying that God will use it to get people talking about Jesus. If you like
Bible movies, and especially if you liked the mini-series Mark Burnett did,
you’ll enjoy this movie. When it comes to Bible movies I always think the book
is better than the movies, but some people might see the movie who haven’t yet
read the book. I’m sure there will be people who criticize the movie for
not being exactly like the Bible. Like “Passion of the Christ” it borrows from
church tradition instead of just Scripture, when it comes to the stations of
the cross stuff. But it identifies Jesus as God in the first minute, and has a
clear resurrection, so it is already the best movie about Jesus to hit the
theaters. I appreciate the considerable effort Mark Burnett and Roma Downey put
into this movie, and I pray God uses it.

Even
CeeLo Green, most famous for his song “F*ck You” will be singing “Mary Did You
Know” at the end of the movie. How touching. And
Christians without knowledge will go and be entertained.
A movie that like “The Bible Series,”
will probably ignore our sin nature and our need for the substitutionary death
of Jesus on the cross. "Son of God" will probably turn the gospel’s call for
radical faith, repentance and reliance upon the Lord into a shallow feel good
message.
People
will walk away liking “Jesus,” or rather liking Diogo Morgado, and they
will think because they like the Hollywood Jesus they are Christian. They will not sense their urgent need to come to a saving knowledge of
the true Christ. And they will be deceived into thinking they are alright, when
they are in serious spiritual jeopardy. That
is dangerous. There
are those who think that all this can be redeemed though, and the movie will
serve as a tool of evangelism, a “conversation starter” and an emotionally
moving form of entertainment.
I
think Sunny Shell did a great job answering these thoughts.
"Throughout the
entire series, God’s holiness and righteousness is either completely omitted or
diminished. The Almighty is portrayed as the Roman Catholic’s angry God who
curses people if they don’t obey, mixed with the heretical false god of Joel
Osteen who wants to give you a big hug and make you happy no matter what you’ve
done. Putting both sects of heretical teachings together produces an angry and
sappy deity who desperately wants people to know about His love (as defined by
the world) and will punish all the “bad” people, while allowing all the “good”
people."
Q. “Even though there’s a lot of error in this movie, still, don’t you think it’s a great way to show people who God really is, I mean, can’t God use anything to save someone?
A. No, I
don’t think this movie is a great way to reveal the truth about God since it’s
filled with lies about God. And yes, I realize God can use anything
to save someone, but He only chose to use the message of the true Gospel to
save all men (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Nowhere in Scripture does God command or
allow His children to use the work of Satan to proclaim His truth. And God is
clear, anyone who denies Him and defiles His holy character or word, works for
the devil, not for God. Since the beginning of time, the devil has
attempted to minimize and blaspheme God’s holy character by lulling us to
disregard His holiness, justice and righteousness. God has never called His
children of light to partner with the works of darkness (2 Cor 6:15-16). As
God’s children, we are commanded to pursue holiness, rather than try to find a
way to compromise the glory of Christ in order to ‘reach more people’"
Evangelist Ray Comfort did not endorse “The Bible Series” which is super important for the following reasons: How
can someone receive the Lord without a clear presentation of the
Gospel? You are not automatically born again if you think “hot” Jesus’
message to “change the world” resonates with something inside of you. Ray
Comfort summed it up on his Facebook: “It’s been brought to my
attention, by a reliable source who conducted thorough research, that there are
a number of unbiblical and very questionable things in “The Bible” television
series–about the deity of Christ, the character of God, and the reality of sin
(among other things). In light of this recent revelation, I cannot endorse this
series. If you choose to watch it, I would urge you to do so with a discerning
heart, testing all things.”
Note
that is from a man whose only pursuit in life is to see people find Jesus
Christ. Don’t you think if it had any evangelical merit, Ray Comfort would know
it? I mean this guy still goes to the beach on the weekends (at least twice a
month) and stands on a box and publicly proclaims the words of salvation. He
cares about reaching the lost. But he also cares about the truth.
FAITH COMES by HEARING
And HEARING by the WORD OF GOD.
If
people want to know about God, Jesus and the Bible. There are plenty of other
amazing materials they can get their hands on, the best of which would be an
actual Bible.
In Conclusion, I am not telling you to not go and see the movie. You can see it
if you want. I am going just to see how much Roma and her husband twist the Bible. I do not want a dime of
my money to go to line the pockets of false teachers. I won’t recommend it to anyone else.
I
personally do not believe that Hollywood, or fake Christians can make a good
truthful movie about Jesus. I think that the enemy is skilled at doing his best
work, using a lot of truth, with just a tiny lie inside of it. Sometimes we
don’t even notice the lie because we already agree with so much of the truth.

Roma
Downey and Mark Burnett are not Bible loving, gospel preaching Christians. They
are New Age Pagans that call themselves Christians. Their gospel is the promise
of a New World Order. They are the wolves in sheep’s clothing that come into
the church. We need to expose them, not interview them on Focus on the Family.
But there were also false
prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who
will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought
them, and bring on
themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive
ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By
covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their
judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber. (2
Peter 2:1-3)
Let
us use this to prompt us to dig into the New Testament on our own. Let us soak
in it, and chew on it, and live off of it. Let us memorize the red words in our
Bibles. Let us mutter them in our mouths over and over until we can quote them,
and be changed by them. They say that the best way to identify the counterfeit
is to study the real thing. We don’t know how much time is left, so let us not think ‘hey the master isn’t coming for a while, let’s just sit back and
relax’ like the evil servant. Let us keep watch. And be ready. And know the
voice of our master.
Researchers
announced on Monday (February 24, 2014) that radiation from Japan’s leaking
Fukushima nuclear power plant has reached waters offshore Canada. The
scientists were speaking at a news conference at the annual American
Geophysical Union’s Ocean Sciences Meeting in Honolulu. The meeting is being
held to discuss problems caused in the Pacific by the offshore earthquake and
tsunami that hit Japan on March 11, 2011.
The
researchers said that two radioactive cesium isotopes, cesium-134 and
cesium-137, have been detected offshore of Vancouver, British Columbia. John
Smith, a research scientist at Canada’s Bedford Institute of Oceanography in
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia said that the detected concentrations are much lower
than the Canadian safety limit for cesium levels in drinking water. Dr. Smith said “These levels are still well
below maximum permissible concentrations in drinking water in Canada for
caesium-137 of 10,000 becquerels per cubic meter of water – so, it’s clearly
not an environmental or human-health radiological threat”. Yea, and I got a
bridge and a restaurant I will sell you in Fukushima
Ken
Buesseler, a senior scientist at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute said
that tests conducted at U.S. beaches indicate that Fukushima radioactivity has
not yet reached Washington, California or Hawaii yet. I don’t believe that
either because if you follow the debris in the Pacific the radioactivity should
be on the west coast.
However,
low levels of radioactive cesium from the stricken Japanese power plant could
arrive by April, scientists reported at
the meeting on Monday.
The
scientists are tracking a radioactive plume from Japan’s Fukushima Daiichi
nuclear power plant. Three nuclear reactors at the power plant melted down after
the March 11, 2011, Tohoku earthquake. The meltdown was triggered by the
massive tsunami that followed the quake.

The mere word
triggers such differing emotional and personal responses across a landscape of
vast ideologies, religious persuasions and experiences - Abortion.
Whether we
are adamantly opposed, indifferent, radically for it, or cringe in remembrance
of a painful decision of our own once upon a time, the word almost never passes
through our consciences without leaving its personal calling card.
We hear the term
used almost daily in the news, in advertising, among family and friends, and in
secret conversations between confidants. And no matter how many times the
scientific community tries to assure us—whether in the classroom, the abortion
clinic, or in our minds—we’re never really 100 percent certain, are we? Was an
aborted pregnancy a fetus or a living baby? is it absolutely ok and even proper
to choose termination if we didn’t intend to get pregnant, and have no desire
or means to care for the child.
But once a woman
leaves the abortion clinic, no longer pregnant, why is there often such a
nagging sense of guilt and sadness that overcomes so many women? Why do so many
women who go through with an abortion experience depression and remorse
afterwards? Studies
have shown this to be the case, yet some women do not want to acknowledge
that we’re one of “those” who are unable to cope with their decision.
Women tell
themselves that they are strong and we did the right thing. They try to rationalize
and convince themselves that they did the right thing, while privately
swallowing their own shame and doubt. And, they get even better at it as time
goes on, when they decide one more time, that abortion was the best birth
control method for them. In fact, after a few times, it becomes easier and
easier to just head on back to the clinic, where they are welcomed with open
arms, and comforted by friendly staff as they lead them down the hall to the
procedure room. Some women hold their
chins up and go, nothing to it anymore, right?
When one looks a
little closer at the abortion statistics across our nations, the numbers
themselves can jolt us awake out of a complacent stupor.

of Vital Statistics 2012, The City of New York, Pregnancy Outcomes,
prepared by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Office
of Vital Statistics, revealed that in 2012, there were more black babies killed
by abortion, 31,328, in New York City than were born there, 24,758. The number
of abortions exceeded live births by 6,540 among black babies, and those
aborted babies represented 42.4% of the total number of abortions in the Big
Apple.

Hispanic women in New York City had 22,917 abortions in 2012, or 31%
of the total abortions in that city.

Combined Black and Hispanic abortions in 2012 totaled 54,245
babies, or 73% of the NYC total.

ages 15-49 was 123,231, which is equivalent to a rate of 14.8 live births per

women) since 2003, when it was at 15.4 per 1,000 women.

Though a total of 73,815 abortions occurred in New York City in
2012, the rate of abortions per 1,000 women was down 8.6% from a year earlier.
Whether one can
account for these horrific numbers by considering poverty levels, lack of
education, or convenience, what has to creep foremost into the minds of those
of us who are willing to ponder the magnitude of this ongoing genocide and
Holocaust is the complete and utter voicelessness of these discarded human
babies.

exactly when life begins, scientifically ends at the time of fertilization of a
human egg. At that moment, half of the father's DNA combines with half of the
mother's DNA to form a single, complete set of human genetic information.
The blueprints are there and complete—for eye color, personality traits, facial
features, character flaws and quirks that make each of us special and
unique—all mapped and present at fertilization.
What then, is the
abortion data revealing about us? That we as a society have hardened our
hearts? Have we become so desensitized to devaluing, discarding and ending life
that we have escalated our push in recent years for an even greater assault on
innocence, by legalizing late-term
abortions and infanticide?
21 weeks is widely
considered to be the age of viability, or the minimum age at which the unborn
child would be able to survive outside of its mother’s womb.

Canada in 2003 reported 6.5% of induced abortions performed
between 13 to 16 weeks, 2.2% between 17 to 20 weeks, and 0.8% over 20 weeks.
This sample included procedures carried out in hospitals and clinics.

In 2005, England and Wales saw 9% of abortions occurring between
13 to 19 weeks, while 1% occurred at or over 20 weeks.
·
New Zealand in 2003 reported 2.03% of induced abortions done
between weeks 16 to 19, and 0.56% at over 20 weeks.
·
In 2005, Norway saw 2.28% of induced abortions performed between
13 to 16 weeks, 1.24% between 17 and 20 weeks, and 0.20% over 21 weeks.
·
Data in Scotland for 2005 revealed that 6.1% of abortions were
done between 14 to 17 weeks, while 1.6% were performed over 18 weeks.
·
Sweden in 2005 reported that 5.6% of abortions occurred between 12
and 17 weeks, and 0.8% at or after 18 weeks.
·
In the United States a total of 848,163 legal induced abortions were
reported to CDC from 49 reporting areas in 2003.
·
For collected data in those regions that sufficiently reported
gestational age, the findings were that 6.2% of abortions were performed from
13 to 15 weeks, 4.2% from 16 to 20 weeks, and 1.4% at or after 21 weeks. To put
an actual number on that last statistic, 1.4% of 848,163 means that 11,874
unborn children, at or over the age of 21 weeks, were legally killed in the
United States of America in 2003.

providers in the U.S. perform abortions after 13 weeks, during the second
trimester. Eight percent of these providers will perform abortions at 24 weeks.
As the length of
gestation increases, so too does the possibility of a woman's death from
complications associated with abortion. At between 16 and 20 weeks of
gestation, the risk of the mother's death during or after an abortion is one in
29,000, and that risk increases to one in 11,000 for abortions occurring after
21 weeks.
When Julie Armas, an
obstetrics nurse in Atlanta, GA, received news late in 1999 that her 21-week
unborn baby boy was diagnosed with spinal bifida and that he would not survive
if removed from his mother's womb, she consulted with Dr. Joseph Bruner, a
surgeon practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville,
Tennessee, whose skills included performing special operations while the baby
is still in the womb.
The uterus was
removed via C-section, and a small incision was made allowing Dr. Bruner to
access and operate on the baby. As the surgery for little Samuel Alexander
Armas was being completed, his tiny but fully formed hand drifted out through
the incision. It was a profound moment. Before tucking the little hand safely
back into the uterus, Dr. Bruner gently lifted it with his own gloved finger,
and an incredible photograph was taken (view it here).
The photo quickly
went viral as the “Hand of Hope”, perhaps appropriately so, as a reminder that
life inside the womb is as precious as outside of it and should be highly
valued. Samuel was ultimately born in perfect health, and the surgery was 100%
successful.
Mother
Teresa was once quoted as
having poignantly stated, “It is a very great poverty to decide that a child
must die that you might live as you wish."
When we as a
civilization lose our sense of wonder for the miracle of conception, pregnancy
and birth of a child, something in us dies, until we become numb to how valued
we are by God, who knew us when we were yet a “blueprint” and without form.
God spoke to the
prophet Jeremiah, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before
you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations."
(Jeremiah 1:5, NKJV)
For all the little
ones whose candle of opportunity for life on earth has forever been snuffed
out, we must mourn. And for those whose unborn lives still hang in the balance,
may the faithful voice of reason never go silent.
Goldmoney.com asked the
question: “So why is the Chinese Government so keen on gold? The answer most
likely involves geo-politics. And here it is worth noting that through the SCO
(Shanghai Cooperation Organization), China and Russia with the support of most
of the countries in between them are building an economic bloc with a common
feature: gold. It is noticeable that while the West's financial system has been
bad-mouthing gold, all the members of the SCO, including most of its
prospective members, have been accumulating it. The result is a strong vein of
gold throughout Asia while the West has left itself dangerously exposed.
The West selling its stocks of gold has
become the biggest strategic gamble in financial history. We are committing
ourselves entirely to fiat currencies, which our central banks are now having
to issue in accelerating quantities. In the process China and Russia have been
handed ultimate economic power on a plate.”
Could this be one of the reasons that the
US is not as clearly mentioned or referenced as other powerful countries in
eschatological Scriptures, such as Russia and China? 
Christianity is up against the fight of its life. The news today from Arizona about Governor Brewer vetoing an Arizona bill, today 27 February 2014, reinforces the information below. Christians and conservatives have chosen to compromise with the world and its money. Nothing has changed, it is the same thing the Pharisees, Sadducees and Scribes did over 2000 years ago. They chose money and the world system the Roman Empire over their Messiah and the Kingdom of God. The Bible says there is nothing new under the Sun.

Once again, the world is kicking Christian principles and beliefs to the curb, fast and furious. Momentum against the Christian faith is accelerating, fueled not just by intolerance alone, but by fervent hatred. In America and around the globe, new legal actions are being initiated almost daily that are slowly suffocating religious freedoms while the Christian community is largely silent. Why is that?
The battle is spiritual, it is the greatest battle between Jesus Christ/Yeyeshua and satan and it is slowly reaching a climax that will result in our Rapture. Many Christians are not properly equipped for this spiritual war. There cannot be victory over one without victory over the other.
The following examples of anti-Christian agendas reveal just how pervasive the spiritual war against Christianity has become in the United States.
The Christian fish symbol many proudly display on their cars, representing the Greek letters that stand for Jesus Christ as God’s Son and Savior, is being mocked with a copy of a similar fish, only this one has evolved legs with feet, and contains the letters “DARWIN’, representing the scientific theory of Evolution.
Nativity scenes are being banned from public properties. Many schools are no longer displaying Christmas trees; one has even banned the colors green and red from its “Winter Party.” Department stores have instructed their employees not to say “Merry Christmas” to store customers.
Bumper stickers denouncing prayer, state in bold letters, “DON’T PRAY IN OUR SCHOOLS AND WE WON’T THINK IN YOUR CHURCHES!” Chaplains serving in government-run facilities are no longer permitted to pray in the name of Jesus.
Universities are forbidding Bible Studies to be held on their properties. People are being fined for holding Bible Studies in their own homes, in violation of local city zoning codes.
The Arizona Book Banning and Burning Board (ABBBB), a division of the Arizona Dept. of Education, has outlawed any teaching of, or reference to, the Bible in its schools. The organization found both books of the Bible (Old and New Testaments) to be in violation of Arizona’s HB2281 (aka the Ethnic Studies Bill) by being "totally biased in favor of the Jews" and teaching the "superiority of the Jewish race."
Christians and Christian groups have been targeted by the military and the IRS as “religious extremists” and “domestic hate groups.”
Christian ministries involved in pro-life activities were IRS targets, with one group being demanded by the government to provide the content of its prayers. In Wyoming, a church was ordered by government officials to turn over its membership lists, and a North Carolina Baptist newspaper was audited, as was Billy Graham Ministries.
In a blazing letter to President Barack Obama, the Rev. Franklin Graham blasted the IRS for targeting the two non-profits he heads with an audit in 2012 after the organizations took out ads urging people to support biblical principles on marriage and when choosing political candidates.
New demands for Bibles to be removed from hotel rooms and banned from hospital rooms are being forcefully voiced, citing unconstitutionality.
Christian bakers, florists and photographers have been dragged into court by individual states for discrimination charges when they have declined to offer their services for same-sex weddings. On all accounts, the lower courts have ruled that gay rights supersede religious rights.
Some churches are considering changing their bylaws now, in preparation for eventually being sued because they will not conduct same-sex wedding ceremonies. Churches fear that it's only a matter of time before a lawsuit is initiated.
Gregory S. Erwin, an attorney for the Louisiana Baptist Convention—an association of Southern Baptist churches and one of several groups advising churches to change their bylaws—said, "I thought marriage was always between one man and one woman, but the Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision said no…I think it's better to be prepared because the law is changing. America is changing."
Robert Jeffress, the pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas, conceded that Christians are losing the culture war and he fears that, unless Christians stand up and engage the political process, the day may come when religious liberty is extremely restricted.
Jeffress elaborated with this point: “A religious leader once said, ‘My successor will see the tax-exempt status removed from churches and his successor will go to jail.’” Jeffress believes this scenario is probably on the horizon.
JeremiahProject.com offers this view on the anti-Christian movement: “What Christians are experiencing in the world today is not so much a ‘war on Christianity’ as it is rebellion against God, and thus a hatred toward anything that points to God or His Son Jesus... and by extension a hatred of Christ's followers.”
Rebellion against God and persecution against Christians is well documented in the Bible. Jesus told His followers, “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. (John 15:18, NKJV)
The underlying spiritual warfare that is raging for the souls of mankind—witnessed in the world’s growing hatred for those who love and follow Jesus Christ—is vividly described by the Apostle Paul in the book of Ephesians, Chapter 6, verses 10-20. This well-known Scripture calls for believers of all generations to stand their ground by putting on the whole armor of God, reminding them that this battle is His. And we already know who wins.

Amid the numerous reports of events in Ukraine in
recent days, observers have largely overlooked the situation in Crimea. The
Black Sea peninsula could become the center of major events in the near future.
Pro-Russian demonstrators quickly moved in the Crimea
to stir up support for Russian protection.
Demonstrators in Crimea have
been toting signs reading 'Putin is our president' and 'Russia, we have been
abandoned, take us back!' Late Sunday in the city of Kerch, someone took down
the Ukrainian flag above the city administration building and hoisted the
Russian flag in its place. At the same time, armored vehicles from the Russian
military base in Sevastopol blocked all entrances to the city protecting it. Russian
troops are already stationed in the Crimea.
A quick look at the Crimean Map shows why the Crimea is strategically
vital. The Crimea is surrounded by the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov
surrounding on three sides. Since the late 18th Century, the Russian
"Black Sea Fleet" has operated out of various harbors of the Black
Sea and the Sea of Azov.
A senior Palestinian negotiator said that the Palestinian Authority (PA) has received a pledge from the Obama
administration that by the end of 2014, the administration will issue an official
declaration presenting general highlights of a Palestinian state. According to the negotiator, the administration continues to
work toward a preliminary outline of the deal by April. The current plan calls
for a phased implementation of increased PA during a three
to five year period. Eastern sections of Jerusalem would come under PA control,
although the exact territories have yet to be defined.
Israel would be defined as “occupiers” in the Jordan Valley
territory as well as in The West Bank, the negotiator stated.
U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, is calling for an
international administrative mandate to control Holy Sites in east Jerusalem.
The mandate could include a coalition of the Vatican and Muslim countries such
as Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
Speculation over the role of the Vatican increased this week
after a secretive meeting took place between the Jerusalem Municipality, The
Prime Minister’s Office and senior Catholic officials. The Catholic delegation
is reported to have pressed for control over the compound that houses the
traditional "Hall of the Last Supper". Some rumors have it that such a
move could be linked in anticipation of Pope Francis visit to Israel in May.
It is expected that any proposal for a Palestinian state
would be a temporary fix, lasting two to three years to allow for security
arrangements to be ironed out between the Israeli’s and the Palestinians.
Recently, Israel’s Defense Minister Moshe Ya ’alon
characterized John Kerry’s pursuit of this deal as an “incomprehensible obsession”. Ya’alon has
been harshly critical of Kerry’s” persistent effort’s to force Israel to
surrender its land.
Perhaps Kerry’s “obsession” is due to statements by PA
President Mahmoud Abbas suggesting that he will not negotiate past the April
29th deadline, if a
framework agreement is not achieved.,
Currently, major sticking points between the Israeli’s and
Palestinians are; borders, Jerusalem, return of Palestinian refugees, IDF
presence in the West Bank, and the PA’s refusal to recognize Jewish statehood.
Nearly 3000 years ago, the prophet Joel under Divine
inspiration recorded these words of warning for just such a time. “For behold
in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and
Jerusalem, I will gather all nations, and bring them down to the valley of
Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of my
people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they
have also divided up my land.” The Bible is very clear on this matter; the Lord will judge
all nations who divide his land, Israel.

Some highly fascinating evidence is now coming to light about these possibilities, also shedding new light about the Nephilim.
Lyn Leahz, A Christian author and researcher, describes some very interesting archeological findings at her article in Before It's News: “Decorating an Egyptian temple wall at Abydos are strange hieroglyphics which depict what appear to be modern day aircraft and naval vessels… but how could people living 2000-3,000 years ago possibly have known about these?”
The hieroglyphics are not easy to mistake – the resemblances to modern air and sea vessels are striking and would undoubtedly be interpreted as such by virtually anyone looking at them, without knowing they were actually artistic depictions from ancient civilizations.
Images of what appear to be modern-day technology—a helicopter, a submarine, a glider, and another unknown type of aircraft (which some believe resembles the Hindenburg) were discovered by Dr. Ruth Hover and her husband in the temple at Abydos, in Egypt. Based on the archeological findings, coupled with Biblical research and related manuscripts, Lyn concludes that the overall evidence points to the existence of the Nephilim.
But exactly who or what were the Nephilim? There exist a variety of explanations but in the standard Biblical definition, the Nephilim were giant offspring from the impregnation of the ‘daughters of men’ by the ‘sons of God’. It is believed that they existed primarily before the flood during Noah’s lifetime, and that God sent the flood to eradicate the evil and wickedness spawned by the Nephilim, and mankind in general. (Genesis 6: 1-7)
Based on Lyn’s findings, as well as his own, Michael Snyder comments further: “The history of our planet is far more complex than most people would dare to imagine. According to the commonly accepted version of history that is taught in high schools and colleges all over the United States, ancient man was a very simple creature with extremely limited knowledge.
Unfortunately for those that promote this flawed version of history, archaeologists keep digging up stuff that directly contradicts it. The truth is that there is a tremendous amount of evidence of great intellectual achievement in the ancient world. For example, just consider the Great Pyramid of Giza.
It is a true technological marvel. It is such a massive structure built with such extraordinary precision that modern technology is only just now starting to catch up with it. We think that we could possibly build a similar structure today if we wanted to, but modern man has never actually constructed anything like it…
Anyone that attempts to convince you that humans that lived thousands of years ago were bumbling dolts that were lucky to build mud huts and cover their genitals with grass skirts is lying to you… So perhaps we should not think of ourselves as so superior to ancient humanity. The reality is that they may have been physically and mentally superior to us in many ways.”
Recent DNA testing of ancient skulls found in Peru would appear to support these conclusions. In an article titled ‘DNA Results For the Nephilim Skulls in Peru Are In And The Results Are Absolutely Shocking’, Michael Snyder wrote on February 10th 2014: “How can we explain elongated skulls that are thousands of years old that contain genetic material “unknown in any human, primate or animal known so far”? For months, many of us have been eagerly awaiting the results of the first DNA tests to ever be performed on the famous Paracas skulls.
There are those who believe that extremely bizarre hybrid races once roamed the planet. With each passing year, the scientific evidence continues to pile up on the side of those that are convinced that the Nephilim actually lived among us. As the knowledge of this evidence becomes more widespread, what is that going to do to the commonly accepted version of history that all of us have been taught?
The geneticist that run the DNA forms this conclusion: “Whatever the sample labeled 3A has came from – it had mtDNA with mutations unknown in any human, primate or animal known so far. The data is very sketchy though and a LOT of sequencing still needs to be done to recover the complete mtDNA sequence. But a few fragments I was able to sequence from this sample 3A indicate that if these mutations will hold we are dealing with a new human-like creature, very distant from Homo sapiens, Neanderthals and Denisovans.”
Research and analysis done by Brian Foerster, in a written exposition for ancient-origins.net, concludes that the distinct and defining feature of this ‘new human-like creature’ is its elongated skull. There are only 2 medically acknowledged ways that this skull shape can arise:
1. Through head-binding, cranial deformation or “cradle boarding”: A very young child’s skull is pliant at birth, and remains in this way for months. It is therefore possible, by lashing a rope around the head, with a board placed at the back of the skull, and perhaps the front as well, to alter the shape of the head over time.
Many authors state that the time period to perform this shaping was about 6 months to 3 years… What you are capable of doing via this technique is to change the shape of the skull, but not the actual volume; you can alter the shape, but not the size. However, Tello found several skulls, at least 300 at the site called Cerro Colorado adjacent to the main graveyard in Paracas, which had cranial volume larger, and in some cases 25 percent larger (and perhaps more) than a conventional modern human skull.
2. Through Genetics: The only other possibility for the skull elongation, other than head-binding, would naturally be genetics. Snyder asserts that forensic analysis of these skulls show that they were not deformed by “cradle-boarding”, based on the following compelling facts written by April Holloway for ancient-origins.net: “The cranial volume is up to 25 percent larger and 60 percent heavier than conventional human skulls, meaning they could not have been intentionally deformed through head binding/flattening. They also contain only one parietal plate, rather than two…”
April Holloway concludes: “…The fact that the skulls’ features are not the result of cranial deformation means that the cause of the elongation is a mystery, and has been for decades”. And if human genetics is not the answer, could it be that we are dealing with semi –humans or non-human beings that are nonetheless physically similar to humans?
This possibility isn’t mere conjecture or far-fetched. Snyder explains: “…In fact, in a previous article I discussed how a sample of red hair from one of these skulls was sent to a lab to be analyzed. The tests on that sample of hair also showed that these skulls are not human.
Or at least they are not fully human…So can we conclusively say that these are Nephilim skulls? Of course many researchers are extremely excited about these findings, but they are warning everyone to stay cautious. For example, consider what L.A. Marzulli is saying about these skulls:
“Our geneticist has had his mind blown as the email indicates, but we must be cautious with our conclusions until all the evidence can be examined. With that in mind, take a good look at the two skulls in the picture above. I took this photo when I returned to the Chongos… where the sample for the DNA testing and the subsequent results I posted above, has come from. Are these really Nephilim skulls? In my opinion, the evidence is beginning to stack up in that direction, but we must be cautious and patient for all the evidence to come in.”
So who were all of these extremely bizarre human-like creatures that were roaming around on our planet just a few thousand years ago? Could it be possible that they were actually the Nephilim or their descendents?
On the back of the latest discoveries and emerging evidence, it is worth taking a closer look at whether we are now able to make a more informed perception of who or what the Nephilim were, how and why they came into existence, when and where they lived and what eventually happened to them.
So exactly who or what were the Nephilim?
Although the Biblical definition of the Nephilim has been widely embraced, there are a number of varied views regarding related details. Outlined below are the conclusions most widely accepted and believed, deduced by various scholars from Biblical exegesis (mainly Genesis 6: 1-7) and supporting texts:
According to gotquestions.org, the Nephilim (“fallen ones, giants”) were the offspring of sexual relationships between the sons of God and daughters of men in Genesis 6:1-4. They came to dominate the antediluvian (pre-flood) world and are described as giants. There is much debate as to the identity of the “sons of God.”
It is the contention of many Bible scholars that the “sons of God” were fallen angels (demons) who mated with human females and/or possessed human males and then mated with human females. These unions resulted in offspring, the Nephilim, that were “heroes of old, men of renown” (Genesis 6:4).
Hebraic and other legends (the Book of Enoch and other non-Biblical writings) say that the Nephilim were a race of giants and super-heroes who did acts of great evil. Their great size and power likely came from the mixture of demonic “DNA” with human genetics.
When and where did the Nephilim live?
Exact locations of Nephilim on the earth do not appear to be clearly defined before the flood, however after the flood some details become clearer.
Nwcreation.net explains that several tribes are encountered in the campaign of the Five Kings in Abraham's day, that some argue might be Nephilim or hybrids of Nephilim. They are described as having become several tribes occupying the lands around the Valley of Siddim (Dead Sea) and evidently intermixed with the Canaanites. Genesis 14 and Deuteronomy 2 name these tribes as the Rephaim ("titans", children of "Rapha"), Zuzim or Zamzummim ("terrible ones"), Emim, Horites, and Anakim ("crushing tyrants").
The tribe of the Anakim is directly connected with the Nephilim in the false report of the spies described in Numbers 13:33. The context of the passages suggest that the other tribes of giants were relatives of the Anakim or other lines of Nephilim, particularly the Rephaim whose giant descendant is described as living in Gath along with the Anakim Goliath and Lahmi .
The Rephaim are giants (in fact these peoples are generally described as being tall or large) and seem to have been thus matched with the Nephilim based on the English rendering of "giants" in Genesis 6. The characteristics of these tribes are described in Scripture as follows:
- Their height was two or three times the height of normal men.
- They were associated with some kind of unholy intermixing before the Flood.
- They were closely associated with the wicked Canaanites after the Flood.
- In one case they are described as having extra fingers and toes.
Were there Nephilim after the flood?
Genesis 6:4 tells us, “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days — and also afterward.” It seems that the demons repeated their sin sometime after the flood as well. However, it likely took place to a much lesser extent than it did prior to the flood. When the Israelites spied out the land of Canaan, they reported back to Moses: “We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim).
Who exactly are these ‘sons of God’ who fathered the Nephilim – were they men or angels?
According to nwcreation.net, it is unclear what the ‘Sons of God’ were, but they are distinguished from the daughters of men. There are at least three schools of thought regarding the ‘Sons of God’:
(i) The most obvious interpretation is that the Nephilim were a hybrid race between two distinct beings;
(ii) The only obvious and natural meaning without such clarification is that these beings were sons of God, rather than of men, because they had been created, not born. Such a description, of course, would apply only to Adam (Luke 3:38) and to the angels, whom God had directly created (Psalm 148:2, 5; Psalm 104:4; Colossians 1:16);
(iii) The more recent view which has been the majority position in the church since St. Augustine in the fourth century is that the Sons of God refers to the God-fearing line of Seth; and the daughters of men refers to the daughters of the unbelieving line of Cain.
Most scholars appear to lean towards the interpretation that the ‘sons of God’ were actual angels as opposed to the “Sethite” view which espouses the view that the ‘sons of God’ in fact descended from the lineage of Seth.
For instance, Chuck Missler states in his analysis published in khouse.org states, “If one takes an integrated view of the Scripture, then everything in it should "tie together."
It is the author's view that the "Angel View," however disturbing, is the clear, direct presentation of the Biblical text, corroborated by multiple New Testament references and was so understood by both early Jewish and Christian scholarship; the "Sethite View" is a contrivance of convenience from a network of unjustified assumptions antagonistic to the remainder of the Biblical record.
It should also be pointed out that most conservative Bible scholars accept the "angel" view. Among those supporting the "angel" view are: G. H. Pember, M. R. DeHaan, C. H. McIntosh, F. Delitzsch, A. C. Gaebelein, A. W. Pink, Donald Grey Barnhouse, Henry Morris, Merril F. Unger, Arnold Fruchtenbaum, Hal Lindsey, and Chuck Smith, being among the best known. For those who take the Bible seriously, the arguments supporting the "Angel View" appear compelling”.
What finally happened to the Nephilim?
The Nephilim were one of the primary reasons for the great flood in Noah's time. Immediately after the Nephilim are mentioned, God's Word tells us this: “The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. So the LORD said, ‘I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them’” (Genesis 6:5-7).
So, God proceeded to flood the entire earth, killing everyone and everything (including the Nephilim) other than Noah and his family and the animals on the ark (Genesis 6:11-22). It is also most important to note that they are mentioned almost simultaneous to God's statement that He would destroy the earth by flood, and it seems from this association that their effect upon mankind was one of the primary justifications that brought the destruction.
It seems that this was part of Satan's stratagem to corrupt the line of Adam to prevent the fulfillment of the Messianic redemption. It was the infusion of these strange beings into the human predicament that brought on the Flood of Noah. The Flood was preceded by four generations of prophets/preachers warning of the coming judgment: Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah. Noah was apparently unique in that his genealogy was still uncorrupted.
Whatever remnants were left of these “giants” were destroyed by the Israelites during their invasion of Canaan (Joshua 11:21-22) and later in their history (Deuteronomy 3:11; 1 Samuel 17).
It seems that God restricted any further action by such angels as recorded in Jude:
"And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." Jude 6,7.
However we are also told in II Thessalonians 2 that the Restrainer (the Holy Spirit) is currently holding back much evil from this world and a time is coming when the restrainer will be removed. Is the coming World Leader, ‘The Antichrist’ a Nephilim, fathered by Satan himself in a replica of the virgin birth of Jesus Christ? Will modern day Nephilim soon live amongst mankind?

“But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Below is the list of the states where the pre-tax equivalent salary that welfare recipients receive is higher than having a job. As a point of reference the average Middle Class annual income today is $50,000, down from $54,000 at the beginning of the Great Recession in 2008. Hawaii, DC, and Massachusetts pay more in welfare than the average working folks earn there. Is it any wonder that they stay home rather than look for a job. In 11 states, welfare pays more than the average pretax first-year wage for a teacher [in those states]. In 39 states, it pays more than the starting wage for a secretary.
