Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney told Cathedral Age, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of mankind. Every religion has its own unique doctrines and history." Trouble is, the Mormon religion's Jesus Christ and the Bible's Jesus Christ/Yeshua Ha Mashiach are not one of the same. A visit to the Mormon church website indicates that Mormons believe they are literally sons and daughters of the god in heaven and have attained physical bodies to come to earth with Jesus as their example. If they do well in following this example, they will become gods after their life on earth. They believe that Joseph Smith "restored" the true church on earth.
Americans have a choice between a man who was raised a Muslim and says he believes in Jesus Christ, and a man whose religious upbringing teaches that Jesus Christ is literally a brotherly example to follow in attaining godship. Islam also believes in Isa, their Jesus, who in the end times will be the prophet of the Mahdi. The Mahdi, according to Islamic eschatology, will establish the peace of Islam on earth for seven years and Jesus will denounce Christianity and Judaism, proclaiming that Islam is the one true religion. You see, "Jesus Christ" has varying characteristics and means many things to many people. But there is only one Jesus Christ/Yeshua Ha Mashiach. And Americans better figure it out before its too late.
