Republicans announced Saturday that they had effectively canceled the first day of its convention for safety concerns associated with an impending hurricane.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said "the Republican National Convention will convene on Monday August 27th and immediately recess until Tuesday afternoon, August 28th."
That move essentially postpones the activities of the first of four scheduled days of the convention.
Romney will now be formally nominated as the Republican Party's presidential candidate on Tuesday instead of Monday.
Have you noticed the name of the hurricane (Isaac) threatening to disrupt the Republican convention in Tampa, Florida?
Also have you noticed that the Republican platform calls for a two-state solution that creates a "Palestinian" state out of GOD's land ISRAEL? 
ISAAC  means "LAUGHTER" in Hebrew

The prophetic nature of the Japan earthquake

On March 1 of this year the Palestinian National Authority announced that it had signed an agreement with Japan to provide $32.5 million for a project of treating waste water in the Palestinian-occupied town of Jericho. It was reported as one of the biggest projects aided by Japan in the Palestinian territories to supply industrial areas with water. The PNA noted in the announcement that since 1993, Japan had given the PNA more than a billion dollars, including $40 million in developing the Jordan Valley area in the West Bank. The PNA said that the agreement is "vital, strategic and important to help the PNA finalize building the institutions of the future Palestinian state."
Japan is instrumental in helping build out a Palestinian state on the West Bank (traditional lands of Judea and Samaria), yet is critical and demanding of Israel for building housing units for its own citizens. On January 11 this year, Japan's Foreign Ministry said the following, "condemns the demolishing of a part of the Shepherd's Hotel in East Jerusalem with a view to constructing new housing units for Jewish people."
A month later on February 10, Japan's Foreign Ministry said Israel's plan to build housing unites for "Jewish people in Sheih Jarrah of East Jerusalem" is against efforts of the international community to resume peace negotiations. A month later, Japan was hit with the worst earthquake in its recorded history.
As you all know the earthquake in Japan caused tsunami flooding in industrial areas, and the money Japan gave to the Palestinians was for waste water treatment to supply water to industrial areas of a new Palestinian State.
The United States also is guilty of giving billions of dollars to the Palestinians over the years. And the current US president is condemning the Israeli home building as well.
Keep in mind that Japan's fault-line is part of the infamous "ring of fire" where about 90% of the world's earthquakes occur. This includes the entire Pacific coast of America.
Zechariah 2:8 says of Zion, "for he that touches you touches the apple of Lord's eye." So what nation or region is next to get hit on the "ring of fire"?

Ezekiel 30 talks of how "even as the day of the Lord is near" Egypt's "foundations shall be broken down," and Libya, "and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword." America was instrumental in bringing this about.
Let's look at a few of the events over the past decade. Bill Clinton attempted to divide the Holy City of Jerusalem. In January 2001, Clinton almost gave the PLO everything it wanted, including 98 percent of the territory of Judea, Samaria, and Gaza, nearly all of East Jerusalem, Palestinian sovereignty over the Temple Mount, conceding only the right of Jews to pray there, and a compensation fund of $30 billion. Look at what has happened to us and the world since Clinton tried to divide Jerusalem.
September 11, 2001: The worst terrorist attack in America's history was waged on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Washington, DC claiming 2,973 lives. Radical Islam declared this attack was against the "Crusaders and Jews."
March 1, 2002: The U.S. invaded Afghanistan with Operation Anaconda our invasion continues as I write this article. The death toll of U.S. soldiers is 1,519.
March 20, 2003: The U.S. went to war against ancient Babylon (Iraq.) The latest death toll is 4,363.
December 26, 2004: An earthquake, magnitude between 9.1 and 9.3 sent a terrible tsunami crashing into countries bordering the Indian Ocean taking almost 230,000 lives.
August 29, 2005: Hurricane Katrina hit the southern coast of the U.S. killing almost 1,800 and causing more than $81 billion in damages.
December 2007: The U.S. and the world entered a major recession with untold home foreclosures and bank closures. As of November 18, 2009 the national debt had reached $12 trillion.
January 12, 2009: A massive earthquake struck the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince killing 250,000.
February 27, 2010: An 8.8 magnitude earthquake hit Chile killing at least 800.
April 14, 2010: A 7.1 magnitude earthquake hit China. At least 400 were killed and 10,000 injured.
3-11-11: A massive earthquake registering 9.0 hit Japan. It was followed by a tsunami and a nuclear crisis unlike anything since Chernobyl in April 1986.
In September 2011, the Quartet (the EU, the UN, Russia, and the United States) plans to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. If the United States votes in favor of this move, it will pass and God help us because read what Zechariah prophesied below.
Zechariah 14:12 says: "And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet; their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets; and their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths."
This aptly describes a nuclear war. The Good News is that this is a sign to the believer that Jesus is coming soon.
Jesus said in John 14:27: "Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." In verse 3 of that same chapter,He explained why we should not allow our hearts to be overcome with fear: "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.
World events are Matthew 24 knocking at the door.
Yeshua prophesied almost 40 years before it happened that the Temple would be taken apart stone by stone and mass deception would overtake the world just before His return. Great leaders would deceive the people claiming to be followers of Christ. He prophesied that kingdoms would rise up against kingdoms. The only kingdoms left worldwide are the kingdoms in the Middle East.
Jesus also predicted famines, pestilence, and earthquakes in diverse places. When His disciples asked when He would return, He admonished them not to be troubled. In John 14:27, Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
Yeshua wants us to live our lives in the light of eternity and touch things beyond the grave, to run the race to the finish line like Saul/Paul said. What we do can then have eternal significance and echo throughout eternity. The good news is that these are signs Jesus is coming soon.
II Thessalonians 2:1 says it precisely: "Now we beseech you brethren by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto him."
The word "coming" in the Greek is parousia or presence. It means "presence of the Lord." Yes, it is the strong presence you felt when you were gloriously saved. It is the presence you feel when you pray and worship Him. But, the presence you will feel when He appears will be thousands of times greater. The Greek word for "gathering" is episynagogue. It means to "collect or quickly collect."
Consider Ephesians 1:13: "In whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise."
When the Lamb of God was sacrificed on the cross, God didn't examine the man; He examined the Lamb and the blood that was shed for you and for me. When He did so, God put his seal of approval upon it and upon everyone who has been washed in the precious blood of the Lamb.
The word "seal" comes from the Greek sphragizo. Seals were used to guarantee that packages had not been opened by an unauthorized person. A seal would be placed upon a package to indicate it was complete. If there was a defect, a seal was not adhered to the package. The seal was proof that the product was impeccable. The seal bore the insignia of the person guaranteeing the package. It meant that the weight of that person's office was behind the package and was to be treated with the utmost care.
Hot wax was poured onto the string that bound the package, and then the sender's insignia was stamped into the wax leaving a visible and distinctive mark. The seal guaranteed the package had arrived unopened.
When the Bible says you have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, it means there is nothing incomplete or defective about you ... because of the blood of the Lamb. He has placed His seal upon your heart. To be sealed with God's presence means you are "God approved." You've been inspected, approved, endorsed, and notarized by the Holy Spirit. You are the property of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The revelation in this is that the presence of the Lord will be manifested at His soon return. He will collect the Presence of the Lord within you. You are part of a glorious church, without spot or wrinkle, washed in the blood of the Lamb--not because of who you are, but because of who HE is. This is why He says, "When you see these things, lift up your head."
Friends, when you see these things LOOK UP! "Lift up your head for your redemption draws nigh." (Luke 21:28) The prophecies of the Bible declare that "in the twinkling of an eye, we shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed."
Soon, and very soon, you will look into the eastern sky and witness the greatest event in the history of mankind. You will hear the shout of an archangel and a heavenly choir will offer praise to the returning King. The trumpet will sound, and the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Eternal Prince of Peace, will suddenly appear. Marble mausoleums will rip like tissue paper, and every grave on earth that holds the remains of the righteous will split open. Decaying bodies will be changed in the twinkling of an eye, and gravity will lose its hold as the resurrection saints will soar into the heavens to meet the Savior in the air. BEAM US UP YESHUA! You, in your glorified body, will enter the Pearly Gates of Heaven to be welcomed by the cheers of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
You will see Moses who stretched forth his hand to divide the sea. You'll see John the Revelator who declared on Patmos that he saw the Lord in the midst of seven golden candlesticks. You will see your departed loved ones and friends who knew the Lord. Most importantly, you will see Yeshua.
