Watchman comment: The situation in Ukraine resembles the Spanish Civil War (1936 to 1936) in that foreigners went to Spain to fight for the Republic e.g. The Lincoln Brigade from the USA while foreigners namely Italians, Moroccan Moors, and Germans fought on the side of Franco’s nationalists. Interestingly, Robert F. Kennedy’s (candidate for the Presidency) son fought as a mercenary in Ukraine with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
