CALL TO ACTION:
PLEASE CALL YOUR STATE LEGISLATOR - AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN!
Ohio, it is time for our state representatives to stop playing leadership’s GAME and to TAKE a STAND for the PEOPLE!
House members were elected to represent OUR NEEDS, not the needs of “leadership”, the Chamber of Commerce, the hospital association, or the lobbyists!
Leadership is pressuring Republican members to vote yes on a terrible piece of alleged “vaccine fairness” legislation! (HB 435) This establishment approved Bill is 34 pages long, and is riddled with loopholes and guidance for businesses on how to expand mandates and have the legal ability to apply unending discriminatory actions against those choosing to exempt themselves from a COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
It does not take into account that many businesses are already adding the flu vaccine to their COVID-19 mandate protocol and that many other mRNA vaccines are waiting in the pipeline.
HB 435’s nonexistent protections also EXPIRE in two years, only cover CURRENT EMPLOYEES and CUT OUT a significant number of HEALTHCARE workers and students in the healthcare field!
Ohioans can NOT and will NOT ACCEPT HB 435!
We have ONE CHANCE to get this RIGHT!
Please contact all of the House Republicans ASAP to tell them you EXPECT them to VOTE NO on 435!
Below is an example email or phone script you can use:
—————
Dear Representative,
I am asking that you are an adamant “NO VOTE on HB 435.”
HB 435 is insulting to Ohioans that are desperate for REAL protection. This bill is not even worth amending. The way it is written provides a roadmap to mandates and innumerable number of loopholes for businesses and the hospital industry to absolutely squelch any freedom of choice for Ohioans on their medical decisions.
We NEED language that provides TRUE vaccine choice and discrimination protection for ALL OHIOANS.
Will you stand with the people of Ohio by VOTING NO on HB 435 and working to bring us the REAL protections provided in HB 248?
Sincerely,
————-
THEN CALL THEM RIGHT NOW!
