Was it
another of US Vice President Joe Bidens now infamous verbal gaffes when he told
American Jews last fall that they will ultimately be safe only in Israel?
But thats precisely what Biden did while hosting a Rosh
Hashanah party attended by senior American Jewish leaders last September. Biden
suggested that even America was no safe haven for Jews.
Listen carefully now to Biden's unbelievable remarks: "You
understand in your bones that no matter how hospitable, no matter how
consequential, no matter how engaged, no matter how deeply involved you are in
the United States and there is really only one absolute guarantee, and that’s
the state of Israel, Biden said to the astonishment of many.
The
only reason any ethnic or religious group flees a country in which they have
been living for generations is to escape physical persecution. Therefore, is
Joe Biden warning Jews that they had better flee now before persecution breaks
out against them?
I think this is precisely what the Vice President is
saying. Even in America, he is saying that Jews face persecution so great they
had better flee to Israel than stay here.
God
foretells that, at the End of the Age, He will call His people home from
wherever they are residing. This prophecy is now being fulfilled.
"I
will hiss for them as the keeper does for his bees and gather them in, for I
have redeemed them, and they shall increase again ..." (Zechariah 10:8) God
is beginning to "hiss" for His people, as a beekeeper hisses for his
bees. Jews will return to their land, forgetting the sordid past in faraway
lands, when they were persecuted, hunted down and murdered by the many
millions.
"And though I sow them among the nations, yet they
shall earnestly remember Me in far countries, and with their children they
shall live and shall return to God and the land He gave them." (Zechariah
10:9)
God
further promises in Amos: " And I will bring back the exiles of My people
Israel, and they shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; and they shall
plant vineyards and drink the wine from them; they shall also make gardens and
eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no
more be torn up out of their land which I gave them, says the Lord your
God." (Amos 9:14-15)
God is bringing His people back to their land of Israel.
And, we Christians shall be glad to see it, because this aliya movement means
Jesus Christ is coming soon!
