A small public access TV host, Klay Tiffany, became known in upstate New York for exposing corrupt officials and police, notably clashing with Briarcliff police officer and bodybuilder Nicholas Tartaglione. In 1997, Tartaglione assaulted Tiffany after warning him to stop investigating, sparking years of retaliation and multiple beatings that left Tiffany hospitalized, though he later won a lawsuit against the police department.
Tiffany died in 2015, and the following year Tartaglione was arrested for murdering four men over stolen drug money, later becoming Jeffrey Epstein’s final cellmate in prison. Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger speculate that Tartaglione’s violent history and prison connections made him an ideal candidate for Epstein’s alleged killing, mixing dark humor with commentary on corruption and prison politics.
