Patriots, a friend of mine returned home from Tucson, Arizona today. His hotel, the Hilton, was a voting location. Guess, where most of the poll workers were from? Several were from Oakland, California, only 2 poll workers were Arizonans. Yes, out of state people were working the polls in Arizona. I would think this would be illegal. We all know Oakland is a hot bed for radicalism, Antifa and BLM. I would be willing to bet this sort of thing occurred in all the important swing states.

My (non Blockchain) observation pertained to the credibility of "Popular Mechanics" as a viable source.

My only (non Blockchain) observation(s) was/were that - DHS Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff’s cousin Benjamin Chertoff was the author of the defective fake news Popular Mechanics’ magazine article “Debunking 9-11 Lies.” Also, it appears Michael Chertoff has dual US-Israeli citizenship.

As election season arrives in the United States, the concern for safe and secure voting is increasing, especially in the middle of a pandemic where many people are unable to vote in-person.  Mail-in-voting is considered to be the next best option; however, President Donald Trump has made repeated verbal attacks against the mail-in-voting system, saying, “Mail ballots are very dangerous for this country because of cheaters.  They go collect them.  They are fraudulent in many cases.  They have to vote.  They should have voter ID, by the way.”
Many government officials, including FBI Director Christopher Wray, have contradicted the President’s words, stating, “We have not seen, historically, any kind of coordinated national voter fraud effort in a major election, whether it's by mail or otherwise.”
In an attempt to introduce a more reliable voting system, the USPS has filed a patent for blockchain mail-in-voting.  According to Investopedia, “in its most basic form, blockchain is a digital ledger,” essentially recording all transactions.  With encryption and decentralization of the information, “blockchain’s database of transactions is incorruptible, and each record is easily verifiable.”  The most important feature of blockchain technology is that “the network cannot be taken down or influenced by a single party because it doesn’t exist in one place.”
The USPS created a mail-in voting system as a result of the high level of security that blockchain has to offer.  The patent states that the process begins when “a registered voter receives a computer readable code in the mail and confirms identity and confirms correct ballot information in an election.  The system separates voter identification and votes to ensure vote anonymity, and stores votes on a distributed ledger in a blockchain.”
The technical lead at blockchain network Hedera Hashgraph, Paul Madsen, also explained that blockchain voting could quell concerns of double voting because “the votes of individual voters would be recorded, either on the blockchain or effectively timestamped and then recorded elsewhere.”
Although it seems unlikely that blockchain voting will be ready in time for the 2020 elections as many mail-in-ballots have already been sent out, the method seems very promising for the future of elections to come.

Dear Watchman, Thanks for sending. I found Forbe's article interesting regarding the patent to use blockchain technology for voting purposes. I would like to add that's not the only reason they will need to utilize the blockchain. If you've been following Klaus Schwab, founder of The World Economic Forum, he strongly believes the Great Reset will be successful and will transform the globe. Part of this reset will entail moving away from fiat currencies and using global cryptocurrencies. Probably under the direction of the IMF similar to their special drawing rights or SDRs.

Once this transition takes place, all of our purchases will be tracked. As a matter of fact, they could ban certain purchases. Who needs to change the 2nd Amendment when instead they can disable your ability to purchase guns or ammo via the blockchain. Maybe your social credit score isn't where it needs to be so they just turn off your accounts (will not be able to buy or sell). Maybe, they place expirations on your cryptos so you are forced to spend your savings because the economy is tanking. And remember, you can't take dollars below zero but cryptos can be devalued into negative territory thus, diminishing your purchasing power.

Right now a bill is going through the house and senate, the Banking for All Act S. 3571. It's a short, easy read and I'll include it below. The USPS will act as a bank using cryptocurrencies on a blockchain platform for rural areas without access to traditional banking. All accounts will be handed over to the Federal Reserve, both personal and business, and then converted to the blockchain. The Federal Reserve will make decisions on interest rates and types of accessibility. The US cryptos will be clearly branded as Fed Dollars.

To my disappointment, but not to my surprise, there has been no mention of this during the debates. This will affect everyone and their families for generations to come.
