In the late 60s I served on a Davey Crockett (DC) tactical nuclear weapon.  Now compare the blast of the DC, in the videos below,  to the explosions in Yemen, Syria and the Ukraine; by the way, some of us (the troops) considered ourselves expendable - suicide troops. DC explosion below.
