Watchman’s Prediction Coming True Gaza is Stalingrad 2.0 for the Israelis, Nov. 2, 2023

 

It even looks like Mamayev, Stalingrad!

Battle of Stalingrad on Mamayev Hill, photos below, a key high ground in the battle that dominates the city's landscape today. The memorial was finished in 1967; its focal point is The Motherland Calls, a great 52-metre- (172-foot-) high statue of a winged female figure holding a sword aloft.

Watchman prediction: The Israelis will have to call upon God to help them win this slugfest in Gaza! It is another David (Israelite) vs. the giant Goliath (Philistine) battle in terms of numbers of soldiers.

Israeli troops have difficulty confronting Hamas soldiers directly in the Gaza battle. A tank commander, Salman Habaka, the highest-ranking Israeli officer was killed in an ambush upon his Merkava tank in the north Gaza Strip. Al-Qassam Brigade continuously attacks Israeli troops with mortars and rockets.
