Huge loss, the moat of Ukrainian fort in Peski bombed by Russian artillery 

Watchman comment: The war in Ukraine is now criminal, Zelenskyy is sending his men like lambs to the meat grinder slaughter. Zelenskyy is a war criminal for his actions and for attacking Ukraine’s nuclear power plants. If the Ukrainians were successful in their nuclear power plant attacks it could contaminate all of Europe! Mr. Z it is time to sit down and negotiate with the Russians and their allies.

Huge loss, the moat of Ukrainian fort in Peski bombed by Russian artillery. Artillery work of Russian and Allied forces bombards the fortified trenches of Ukrainian troops in Peski, Donetsk region. Armed Forces of Ukraine trying to hold on to the northwestern part of Peski to retake Peski. Thousands of Russian artillery shells destroyed the Ukrainian fortifications like trenches, thwarting the efforts of the Ukrainian forces with heavy losses.

Front Highlights for Aug 5th, 2022.

▪️ Russian Armed Forces launched strikes on AFU positions in Zaliznyi Mist, Hrem'yach and Mykhal'chyna Sloboda border areas of the Chernihiv region.

▪️ North of the Kharkiv region, Russian Armed Forces’ units put up trench fighting near Pitomnik, Vesele and Prudyanka.

▪️The Ukrainian command is redeploying some units from Kharkiv to other directions including the Mykolaiv-Kryvyi Rih one.

▪️ In the forest east of Protopopivka, the Ukrainian 58th Independent Motorized Infantry Brigade’s assault groups made an attempt to dig in near Lake Lyman, but failed, suffered losses and retreated.

▪️In the Slovyansk-Barvinkove direction, Russian Armed Forces are fighting for the Husarivka rural area.

▪️The AFU announced the seizure of the Dibrovne and Mazanivka rural areas which had been neutral.

▪️Russian troops are attacking the enemy near the Knauf Gips factory to dig in on the Soledar eastern outskirts.

▪️Forward units of the Wagner's PMC are fighting on the Bakhmut eastern outskirts. Watchman comment: the Russians and their allies will take Bakhmut and it will be a "yuge" loss for the Ukrainians. 

▪️The Ukrainian command is strengthening the defence on the south-eastern outskirts of Bakhmut redeploying Territorial Defence units to Vesela Dolyna.

▪️On the Kodema eastern outskirts near Vuhlehirs’ka TES, fighting is underway.

▪️In the vicinity of Donetsk, the allied forces are mopping up Pisky. The Ukrainian troops are putting up resistance north-westwards the locality.

▪️In Avdiivka and Mar'inka, fierce fighting is underway.

▪️ In the afternoon, the Ukrainian units shelled the Donetsk railway station. Casualties among civilians reported.

▪️ Russian cannon and rocket artillery engaged the AFU’s positions in Nikopol'.

▪️ In the last 24 hours, the Ukrainian forces repeatedly shelled the territory of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station in Enerhodar.

UN nuclear chief has said that the situation in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant is 'completely out of control'. The plant is currently under Russian occupation. UN Secretary General has warned that humanity is one miscalculation away from nuclear annihilation.
