Is the US Sleepwalking into War with Iran? Or was this Always the Plan?

The US under President Joe Biden appears to
be trying but failing to restart the Iran Nuclear Deal. However a 2009 policy
paper explained out “a very good deal” would be proposed to Iran, sabotaged,
then used as a pretext for a US-led war (or a US-backed proxy war) against
Iran. From Obama to Trump and now under Biden, this singular policy is coming
full circle...

Interestingly
enough that Kenneth M. Pollack one of the authors of the report presented by
Brian is an ex CIA analyst and an expert on Middle East politics, and military
affairs. His wife is a Communications strategist on CNN as well as
congressional correspondent for CNN. Spot on analysis, Brian. Great job!
Brian is spot on regarding the US foreign
policy (and domestic policy) being determined by forces other than any American
administration. It really doesn't mater who's in the White House. The US is a
technocratic Neoliberal corporate oligarchy, not a democracy. It's just a more
nuanced form of autocracy, and it also functions as a kleptocracy.
Terrific presentation, Brian. What is always
galling is the fact that probably 98% of Americans have no idea of what is
going on in their country's involvement in geopolitics. They just have zero
interest.
I am sure most here will remember the great
George Carlin. He never voted, saying both main political parties were
essentially the same and their members merely employees of the elites who fund
them. He concluded by saying to the audience about the US political system:
It’s a club and you ain’t in it.
Brian, the best, Geopolitical Analyst on Youtube, because
of his honest assesments, as some others highly respectable, but tops them by
always providing LINKS to his sources of information, added to his own military
experience.
I am worried for Brian, especially his brilliance, accuracy, and
eloquence, as he stands against dark, murderous forces that export death,
destruction, and cancer.
Difficult to
understand why the US want to sleepwalk into a war with Iran when US/NATO seem
to struggle in Ukraine. Iran have dozens of US bases within range of the
Iranian formidable rocket arsenal. An Iran war will be more difficult than the
Afghan war. Iran have many friends in the region that also could attack US
bases. US also continues to provoke China to go to civil war with the Taiwan
renegade province. Poor nations constantly exposed to regime change.
