The Watchman On The Wall

The Watchman On The Wall
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Verse 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

July 17, 2022 "Saint Bonaventure's Prophecy on the Antichrist and the Collapse of Humanity"

Watchman comment: It seems strange and iron that I attended St. Bonaventure grade school. Could St. Bonaventure explain my articles and broadcasts on the end times and current affairs, my military career, work in the Middle East and work with the U.S. Defense Dept.?????

I look forward to meeting St. Bonaventure in heaven.

In this video we share Saint Bonaventure's Prophecy on the Antichrist and the Collapse of Humanity. In the 13th century, he announced the total collapse of humanity and the events that will precede the arrival of the Antichrist Today we celebrate the "seraphic church teacher", Saint Bonaventure. He was a medieval Franciscan, a great scientist, theologian and mystic who penetrated the deepest secrets of faith with a rare ability to reconcile many traditions and philosophies. Modern scholars consider him one of the most outstanding people of his time, a fearless defender of human and divine truth and an extraordinary expression of Christian and mystical wisdom. When Saint Thomas Aquinas visited him, he asked him where he got such wisdom. Bonaventure showed him a crucifix among the books behind the curtain and said: "This is my wisdom"! When the pope's emissaries brought him the cardinal's hat, he was washing dishes in the yard and said to them: "Hang the hat on that branch until I finish washing (the dishes)!" He was a great prisoner of the Heart of Jesus, from his love he drew strength for his kindness with which he conquered everything. He is the author of numerous theological, philosophical and mystical works, and he also wrote the biography of Saint Francis of Assisi. Just like him, he put his earthly model Jesus at the center of all his teaching, administration, writing and life, which resulted in countless miraculous fruits in heaven and on earth. His short description of the time of the Antichrist is interesting. In 12 signs, Saint Bonaventure helps us to recognize the time of the last battle, and many of the mentioned points, looking from the perspective of the Middle Ages in which he lived, seemed impossible, therefore this is a very prophetic record, which our generation is unfortunately witnessing. So, Saint Bonaventure in the 13th century writes that the signs that will precede the arrival of the Antichrist are as follows:

1. When the elderly lose common sense and wisdom;

2. When Christians lose faith;

3. When the people no longer have love;

4. When the rich lose their mercy (become insensitive to other people's plight);

5. When the youth no longer respect anyone;

6. When the poor lose their humility [modesty];

7. When women lose their chastity;

8. When marriage loses its durability (and starts to revolve exclusively around pleasure);

9. When clerics lose their honor and sanctity;

10. When monks abandon truthfulness and austerity;

11. When the prelates will no longer care for the management [of their service] and when they lose their goodness;

12. When the lords of the earth lose piety and generosity.

Saint Bonaventure died on July 15, 1274 and his Feast is celebrated on July 15 every year.
