Duty, Honor, Country

The recent fiasco involving Nancy Pelosi and her false claim that CIA officials lied to her reflects the sad state of morality among our nation’s elected officials. In recent years a number of politicians have been forced to resign from their positions.

On May 12, 1962, West Point Military Academy awarded General Douglas MacArthur the Thayer Award given each year to a citizen whose service to the nation has exemplified West Point’s motto, Duty, Honor, Country. The speech below is the one MacArthur delivered when he accepted the award.

Duty, Honor, Country. These three hallowed words reverently dictate what you ought to be, what you can be, what you will be. They are your rallying points to build courage when courage seems to fail, to regain faith when there seems to be little cause for faith, to create hope when hope becomes forlorn…

The unbelievers will say they are but words…But these are some of the things they do. They build your basic character. They mold you for your future roles as the custodians of the nation’s defense. They make you strong enough to know when you are weak, and brave enough to face yourself when you are afraid.

They teach you to be proud and unbending in honest failure, but humble and gentle in success; not to substitute words for action; not to seek the path of comfort, but to face the stress and spur of difficulty and challenge; to learn to stand up in the storm, but to have compassion on those who fall; to master yourself before you seek to master others; to have a heart that is clean, a goal that is high; to learn to laugh, yet never forget how to weep; to reach into the future, yet never neglect the past; to be serious, yet never take yourself too seriously; to be modest so that you will remember the simplicity of true greatness, the open mind of true wisdom, the meekness of true strength.

Robert Malley Part 2

In 2007 Obama selected Malley as a foreign policy adviser. Malley’s penchant for negotiating with enemies of the U.S. and Israel has created a powerful influence on President Obama and as we heard during the presidential campaign Obama has a strong penchant for associating with radicals like Malley.

During the Obama presidential campaign Malley and Obama severed ties with one another after the Times of London reported that Malley had been meeting privately with Hamas leaders on a regular basis. Obama had publicly pledged never to do such a thing. Mr. President what were you trying to hide about Mr. Malley that would be so embarrassing? At the time, Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt said: “Rob Malley has, like hundreds of other experts, provided informal advice to the campaign in the past. He has no formal role in the campaign and he will not play any role in the future.” This is just another example of the lies Obama is able to get away with while the “fellow travelers” in the media in this country sleep and say nothing.

Surprise, within hours of Obama’s election victory, Malley was on his way to Syria. Just two days after his election victory Obama’s first diplomatic act was to send Malley to meet with to meet with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Malley outlined Obama’s administration’s new Middle East policy for the Egyptians and Syrians. I would speculate that Mubarak was well aware of Robert and Simon Malley’s background and probably told Malley he fears the Iranians more than the Israelis. Mubarak should be wary because if Malley has his way the Muslim Brotherhood will take over Egypt and have Mubarak killed.

President Obama and Malley have called for Israel to engage in peace negotiations with Syria without any pre-conditions. Mr. Malley, all the Israelis want is for Syria to recognize Israel’s right to exist and the Syrians refuse to do that.

Let’s look at the Syrian record. Syria was been the chief supporter of Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQIZ). The Syrians refuse to do more to thwart AQIZ infiltration into Iraq and cut off the flow of suicide bombers who fly into Damascus and then sneak across the border into Iraq. Damascus is also the headquarters of the terrorist organization Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the longtime sponsor of Hamas. The Hamas charter explicitly calls for the annihilation of Israel. Khaleed Mashaal, the leader of Hamas, directs the terrorist group from his headquarters in Damascus, Syria. Most importantly, Syria and Iran are linked together in a military alliance.

Robert Malley wrote an article and blamed the Israelis for the failure of the Camp David peace talks. Other participants at the peace parley disagree with Malley’s view of Camp David. Malley’s revisionist history does not reconcile with the views of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, then-U.S. President Bill Clinton, and then-U.S. Middle East envoy Dennis Ross. As I have written previously if one examines the video of Clinton, Barak and Arafat walking at Camp David it becomes clear (in my mind) that Arafat is keeping an arm’s length distance from Barak. In my opinion, Arafat was sending a public subliminal message to his fellow Arabs back home that he was not going to make a deal with the Jews.

Malley has a history of writing on controversial subjects. He wrote an article with Hussein Agha, a former adviser to Arafat. Malley and Agha always exonerated Arafat and blamed the Israelis for the failure of the peace process. Malley has written numerous articles urging the U.S. to disengage from Israel and he recommends that America negotiate with its Arab enemies such as Syria, Hamas, Hezbollah and Muqtada al-Sadr without any pre-conditions. Malley has also advised nations around the world to send financial aid to the Hamas government in Gaza. Mr. Malley it is such donations that fund terrorist plots and attacks against Israel. There is no guarantee that Hamas will use the money for benevolent purposes. The U.S. has shut down numerous Arab charities because they were funneling money to terrorists.

Malley believes that it is both unreasonable and unrealistic for Israel to demand that Syria sever its ties with Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Iran. Malley believes that if Israel just gives up the Golan Heights Damascus will automatically pursue peace with Israel. Maybe that works in Malley’s fuzzy world of academia but not in real life. Mr. Malley these people want to push the Jews in the Mediterranean Sea. Mr. Malley you claim to know Middle East history. The Ba’ath Party in Syria and Iraq was founded in part on the philosophy of Fichte a precursor to Nazi Germany.

Malley has criticized the U.S. for allegedly remaining “on the sidelines” and being a “no-show” in the overall effort to bring peace to the nations of the Middle East. Mr. Malley George Bush was correct the Middle Eastern terrorists and their state sponsors do not share our western values of decency. They are murderous thugs and dictators. Israel gave up southern Lebanon and got pummeled with Hizbullah rockets. Israel gave up Gaza and in return got pummeled with Hamas rockets. Now you and President Obama want the Jews to give up East Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria (the West Bank). What will Israel get in return? Land for peace has not worked for Israel. Israel needs an absolute guarantee of security. Israel needs her enemies to recognize Israel’s right to exist. Mr. Malley below is part of the Hamas covenant; have you read Article Thirty-Two of the Hamas covenant? Have you read Mein Kampf?

Hamas Covenant: Article Thirty-Two:

World Zionism, together with imperialistic powers, try through a studied plan and an intelligent strategy to remove one Arab state after another from the circle of struggle against Zionism, in order to have it finally face the Palestinian people only. Egypt was, to a great extent, removed from the circle of the struggle, through the treacherous Camp David Agreement. They are trying to draw other Arab countries into similar agreements and to bring them outside the circle of struggle.

The Islamic Resistance Movement calls on Arab and Islamic nations to take up the line of serious and persevering action to prevent the success of this horrendous plan, to warn the people of the danger emanating from leaving the circle of struggle against Zionism. Today it is Palestine, tomorrow it will be one country or another. The Zionist plan is limitless. After Palestine, the Zionists aspire to expand from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they will have digested the region they overtook, they will aspire to further expansion, and so on. Their plan is embodied in the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion", and their present conduct is the best proof of what we are saying.

Leaving the circle of struggle with Zionism is high treason, and cursed be he who does that. "for whoso shall turn his back unto them on that day, unless he turneth aside to fight, or retreateth to another party of the faithful, shall draw on himself the indignation of Allah, and his abode shall be hell; an ill journey shall it be thither." (The Spoils - verse 16). There is no way out except by concentrating all powers and energies to face this Nazi, vicious Tatar invasion. The alternative is loss of one's country, the dispersion of citizens, the spread of vice on earth and the destruction of religious values. Let every person know that he is responsible before Allah, for "the doer of the slightest good deed is rewarded in like, and the does of the slightest evil deed is also rewarded in like."

The Islamic Resistance Movement considers itself to be the spearhead of the circle of struggle with world Zionism and a step on the road. The Movement adds its efforts to the efforts of all those who are active in the Palestinian arena. Arab and Islamic Peoples should augment by further steps on their part; Islamic groupings all over the Arab world should also do the same, since all of these are the best-equipped for the future role in the fight with the warmongering Jews.

"..and we have put enmity and hatred between them, until the day of resurrection. So often as they shall kindle a fire of war, Allah shall extinguish it; and they shall set their minds to act corruptly in the earth, but Allah loveth not the corrupt doers." (The Table - verse 64).

Mr. Malley it seems the old adage about fathers and sons is true. Apples do not fall from the trees. I would urge you to read Psalm 83 below.

1 O God, do not keep silent;
be not quiet, O God, be not still.
2 See how your enemies are astir,
how your foes rear their heads.
3 With cunning they conspire against your people;
they plot against those you cherish.
4 "Come," they say, "let us destroy them as a nation,
that the name of Israel be remembered no more."
5 With one mind they plot together;
they form an alliance against you-
6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites,
of Moab and the Hagrites,
7 Gebal, [a] Ammon and Amalek,
Philistia, with the people of Tyre.
8 Even Assyria has joined them
to lend strength to the descendants of Lot.
Selah
9 Do to them as you did to Midian,
as you did to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon,
10 who perished at Endor
and became like refuse on the ground.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb,
all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
12 who said, "Let us take possession
of the pasturelands of God."
13 Make them like tumbleweed, O my God,
like chaff before the wind.
14 As fire consumes the forest
or a flame sets the mountains ablaze,
15 so pursue them with your tempest
and terrify them with your storm.
16 Cover their faces with shame
so that men will seek your name, O LORD.
17 May they ever be ashamed and dismayed;
may they perish in disgrace.
18 Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD—
that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.

Abdullah Saleh al-Ajmi, a Kuwaiti

Abdullah Saleh al-Ajmi was released from GTMO in Nov 2005 with 4 other Kuwaitis.

He confessed he was in Afghanistan fighting with the Taliban against the Northern Alliance. He also confessed he fought on the front line for eight months.

Al-Ajmi claimed he was in Afghanistan studying the Quran.

He recanted his confessions because he claimed he had been threatened at GTMO.

In April 2008 al-Ajmi he blew himself up in a suicide attack in Mosul, Iraq. He murdered 13 Iraqi policemen. He entered Iraq through Syria.

A Summary of Evidence memo was prepared for Abdallah Salih Ali Al Ajmi's Administrative Review Board, on 4 February 2005. The memo listed eleven "primary factors favoring continued detention".

Al Ajmi is a Taliban fighter:
Al Ajmi went AWOL from the Kuwaiti military in order to travel to Afghanistan participate in Jihad.
Al Ajmi was issued an AK-47, ammunition and hand grenades by the Taliban.
Al Ajmi participated in military operations against the coalition.
Al Ajmi admitted he was in Afghanistan fighting with the Taliban in the Bagram area.
Al Ajmi was placed in a defensive position by the Taliban in order to block the Northern Alliance. Al Ajmi admitted spending eight months on the front line at the Aiubi Center, Afghanistan.
Al Ajmi admitted engaging in two or three fire fights with the Northern Alliance.
Al Ajmi retreated to the Tora Bora region of Afghanistan and was later captured as he attempted to escape to Pakistan.
Al Ajmi is committed to jihad.
Al Ajmi went AWOL because he wanted to participate in jihad in Afghanistan but could not get leave from the military.
In Aug 2004, Al Ajmi wanted to make sure that when his case goes before the Tribunal, they know that he now is a Jihadist, an enemy combatant, and that he will kill as many Americans as he possibly can.
Upon arrival at GTMO, Al Ajmi has been constantly in trouble. Al Ajmi's overall behavior was aggressive and non-compliant, and he has resided in GTMO's disciplinary blocks throughout his detention.
Based upon a review of recommendations from U.S. agencies and classified and unclassified documents, Al Ajmi is regarded as a continued threat to the United States and its Allies.

Al-Ajmi said the following at one of GTMO hearings: I don't blame the Americans for what they did by bringing us over here and detaining us over here. If I were in their place I would go out and look for terrorism all over the world like they did but I have a feeling it is going to be a just decision by the Americans. That is my feeling. I would do the same thing if I were in their shoes. I would capture the bad people, the terrorists and bring them over here and detain them.

Al Ajmi was repatriated to Kuwait, and taken into Kuwaiti custody on November 3, 2005.
Al Ajmi was freed, on bail, while he awaited trial. Al-Ajmi and the four other Kuwaiti stood trial in March 2006, and were acquitted on July 22, 2006.

The two main charges were that the detainees had helped fund Al Wafa, an Afghan charity with ties to Al Qaeda, and that they had fought alongside the Taliban. Further, the prosecution argued that the detainees actions had endangered Kuwait's political standing and its relations with friendly nations.

The detainees' defense had argued that testimony secured in Guantanamo could not be used in Kuwaiti courts, because the detainees and interrogators hadn't signed them. Further, they had argued, the allegations the USA had directed at them weren't violations of Kuwaiti law.

Mr. President you should be very careful not to release these types of people from GTMO. Someone has blood on their hands for allowing Al-Ajmi to murder 13 Iraqis. There are now approximately 250 prisoners left at GTMO. When I was at GTMO there were 660 prisoners. Only hard core terrorists are left there. I hope that you or your administration do not release these thugs so that they can murder again. However, if they are released and murder again I hope the families of the victims sue you or bring charges against you and members of your administration in criminal or civil court. As far as I am concerned if you release these thugs and they murder again then you should be brought up on impeachment charges for endangering American citizens and our allies.

Pope Benedict XVI's Historic Visit

The Pope’s visit to the Holy Land displays the sad state of secular news in the United States. There has been scant reporting on what I feel is a historic visit. This is a region where great religions intersect; it is the major fault line of our time. Furthermore, believers in Yeshua/Jesus Christ are closely watching for His imminent return although none of us know the exact time or day.

The Pope displayed courage yesterday when he walked out during a ranting speech by the head of the Palestinian Sharia court, Sheikh Taysir al-Tamimi. It was clear from watching the event live that the Pope had no idea what Al-Tamimi was saying because there was no simultaneous translation. When Al-Tamimi's words became apparent, the Pope's advisors tried to interrupt Al-Tamimi. Al Tamimi fiercely denounced Israeli policy in the presence of Pope Benedict on Monday and appealed to the pope to help end what he called the "crimes of the Jewish state." Speaking at an interfaith conference held at the Notre Dame Church in East Jerusalem, al-Tamimi accused Israel of slaughtering women, children and senior citizens. The speech was delivered in Arabic, without simultaneous translation, but after the pope was informed of the political nature of al-Tamimi's speech, he walked out of the conference.

The Sheikh opened his impromptu speech with a story about Saladin, who upheld the rights of Christians after he conquered Jerusalem, stressing that Islam and Christianity must unite against "the Israeli occupation and bring about an independent Palestinian state." "Israel destroyed our home, exiled our people, built settlements, ruined the Muslim holy sites, and slaughtered women, children and senior citizens in Gaza," he continued. At this point, the conference's organizers tried to persuade al-Tamimi to end his spontaneous speech, but to no avail. Addressing the pope at the end of his six-minute address, he said: "Your Holiness, I call on you in the name of the one God, to condemn these crimes and press the Israeli government to halt its aggression against the Palestinian people." Al-Tamimi shook the pope's hand as he left the podium.

The director general of Israel's Chief Rabbinate, Oded Wiener, said, "Sheikh Tamimi embarrassed the pope." He said Tamimi, a familiar and fiery figure in Palestinian public life, had pressured the Catholic organizers to be allowed to speak and that the Jewish members would no longer take part in a long-standing, three-way interfaith dialogue until the sheikh is barred from attending. "The Chief Rabbinate will not continue it as long as Tamimi is part of the Palestinian delegation," Wiener said.

Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov, charged with the pope's visit to Israel, said that Tamimi's statements "hurt, first and foremost, Pope Benedict XVI who came to the Holy Land to promote peace and unity between the peoples of the region and all persons of faith. Israel condemns these words of hatred uttered by the sheikh, who instead of fostering peace and coexistence chose to plant seeds of division and confrontation between Israelis and Palestinians, as well as between Jews, Muslims and Christians." It is a shame that an extremist was the one who represented the Palestinians and the Muslims in this important event in the presence of Pope Benedict.

Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi said, "The speech by Sheikh Taysir Tamimi was not scheduled by the organizers of the meeting. In a meeting dedicated to dialogue, this intervention was a direct negation of what a dialogue should be. We hope that such an incident will not damage the mission of the pope aiming at promoting peace and also inter-religious dialogue."
The incident further marred the start of the German-born pope's five-day tour of Israel and the Palestinian territories. Pope Benedict, in his own speech to the gathering of priests, rabbis and sheikhs, praised their efforts to seek common values and mutual respect to overcome differences in religious practices that "may at times appear as barriers."

Pope Benedict XVI pledged Monday to remember the six million Jews killed in the Holocaust, seeking to repair strains with Jews over one of the most sensitive issues at the start of a visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories.

Pope Benedict’s calls for the establishment of a Palestinian homeland threatened to overshadow the visit by putting him at odds with his Israeli hosts. While Benedict has spoken in favor of a Palestinian homeland in the past, the timing and location of his comments were noteworthy.

This is my main bone of contention with the Pope. Israel via Abraham was given the land in a covenant with God. We, as believers in Yeshua are given our eternal salvation by his blood covenant for us. The Jews cannot not relinquish their covenant with Adonai any more than Yeshua can relinquish his covenant with us. Consider the Holy Scripture below:

(Nehemiah 9:7-8) Thou art the LORD the God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham; {8} And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou art righteous:

(Nehemiah 9:23) Their children also multipliedst thou as the stars of heaven, and broughtest them into the land, concerning which thou hadst promised to their fathers, that they should go in to possess it.

(1 Kings 8:56) Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.

(Ezekiel 37:25) And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

Each time Israel has given up land it has brought violence upon Israelis, for example, the rocket attacks in Gaza by Hamas and the withdrawal from southern Lebanon.

Why doesn’t the Vatican give its small parcel of land back to the Italian state? Why not revoke the Lateran Treaty that the Vatican made with Benito Mussolini? If my memory serves me correctly the Vatican struggle for centuries to free itself from the whims of secular rulers in Europe.

By supporting a division of Israel’s land I feel the Pope will bring harm on the papacy or the Roman Catholic Church. This is the time for the Roman Catholic Church to support Israel. This period of history we are living in is a prelude to the "Times of Jacob’s Troubles".

(Jeremiah 30:7) Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Benedict is using a week long pilgrimage to the Holy Land to reach out to Christians, Muslims and Jews. He spent three days in neighboring Jordan before arriving in Israel.

Pope Benedict wants to put a “freeze” on increasing tensions in Jewish-Catholic relations over recent disputes and he also wants to show his solidarity with Christians who are emigrating from the region in large numbers because of Muslim persecution.

"It is right and fitting that during my stay in Israel, I will have the opportunity to honor the memory of the 6 million Jewish victims of the shoah and to pray that humanity will never again witness a crime of such magnitude," the German-born pontiff told a welcoming ceremony at Israel's international airport, using the Hebrew word for Holocaust. He laid a wreath at Israel's national Holocaust memorial, Yad Vashem.

While Israel's relations with the Vatican have improved greatly since Benedict's predecessor, John Paul II, visited in 2000, differences remain, none deeper than the widespread belief in Israel that the Vatican did not do enough to halt the Nazi genocide of European Jewry.

Israel and the Vatican are at odds over the legacy of World War II pontiff Pius XII, a candidate for sainthood. Benedict has referred to Pius as a great churchman, and in September, he praised what he called Pius' "courageous and paternal dedication" in trying to save Jews by quiet diplomacy.

Although Benedict did not visit the main part of the museum, the visit to the Yad Vashem museum was closely watched for two reasons.

First, the Pope recently lifted the excommunication order on Bishop Richard Williamson, an anti-Semitic breakaway bishop who denies the Holocaust.

The controversy surrounding Bishop Williamson has caused officials in the Vatican to discuss reforming of Vatican communications. It became clear that the lifting of the excommunications on the four bishops was carried out with minimal consultation within the Vatican. A common pattern has emerged in this pontificate that shows that Pope Benedict is being poorly advised on possible fallout from his remarks.

Papal spokesman, Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi said the Pope was unaware of Bishop Williamson’s anti-Semitism before the decision was taken to lift his excommunication. Williamson and three other bishops were excommunicated in 1988 for agreeing to be consecrated as bishops of the breakaway Society of St. Pius X without the consent of John Paul II.

It looked to some as if the German-born Pope was condoning or ignoring Williamson’s anti-Semitic views. Only days before Williamson was restored to full rights in the Church he denied the extent of the Holocaust on a Swedish television interview. To make matters worse, the announcement on the lifting of his excommunication was made on the eve of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Second, an exhibit at Yad Vashem contains a controversial description of Pope Pius XII. The Vatican has protested the museum's caption beneath a photograph of Pius XII that claims the wartime pope did little to save the Jews during the World War II and did not protest the Nazi genocide of Jews and maintained a "neutral position." The Vatican hopes the caption will be revised, and has already asked several influential Jewish dignitaries and historians, such as Britain’s Sir Martin Gilbert, to exert pressure to change it.

Ties between the Vatican and Israel were further strained when a senior Vatican official said during Israel's recent military campaign in Gaza that the territory resembled a "big concentration camp." Benedict has also faced questions for his involvement in the Hitler Youth during the war. Benedict said he was coerced like many young Germans during that time.

Despite the Bishop Williamson affair and other problems, some Jewish leaders fully support the Pope coming to the Holy Land. Oded Wiener, spokesman for the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, said the trip was “very important for us, a visit that we’re expecting.” Giuseppe Lara, president of the Assembly of Italian Rabbis, has said that the visit would be “a good thing”.

As soon as the pope arrived at the airport, he urged Israelis and Palestinians to resolve their differences. "The hopes of countless men, women and children for a more secure and stable future depend on the outcome of negotiations for peace. In union with people of goodwill everywhere, I plead with all those responsible to explore every possible avenue in the search for a just resolution of the outstanding difficulties, so that both peoples may live in peace in a homeland of their own within secure and internationally recognized borders."

During a visit with Israeli President Shimon Peres Benedict said, "I hear the cry of those who live in this land for justice, for peace, for respect for their dignity, for lasting security, a daily life free from the fear of outside threats and senseless violence."

Before speaking, the pope met privately with Peres and the parents of Israeli soldier Gilad Schalit, who was captured by Hamas militants three years ago and remains in captivity in the Gaza Strip.

The pope has tried to improve interfaith relations throughout his four-year papacy, and as a cardinal, had a long record of promoting dialogue with other faiths. But Benedict has had to tread carefully on his Middle East visit because of past gaffes.

Benedict angered many in the Muslim world three years ago when he quoted a medieval text that characterized some of Islam's Prophet Muhammad's teachings as "evil and inhuman," particularly "his command to spread by the sword the faith." He later expressed regret that his comments offended Muslims. Before leaving Jordan, he said he had a "deep respect" for Islam.

Israeli police shut down a media center for the pope's visit that the Palestinian Authority had set up at an east Jerusalem hotel. Israeli authorities object to any attempt by the Palestinians to use east Jerusalem for official business because that would suggest Palestinian sovereignty there. Israel captured east Jerusalem in the 1967 “Six Day War” and the Palestinians claim it as capital of a future state.

Police in Middletown, Connecticut urged Wesleyan University and local Jewish leaders to be "extra vigilant" after concluding that a man suspected of fatally shooting a Wesleyan student at a bookstore may be targeting the school and Jews.

Police officers launched a nationwide manhunt for 29-year-old Stephen Morgan. Authorities believe that Morgan disguised himself with a wig and shot 21-year-old Johanna Justin-Jinich, a junior from Timnath, Colo., at her job at a cafe inside Broad Street Books, a popular bookstore. This was not a random act.

Police maintained a heavy presence Thursday on the normally busy campus, located in this central Connecticut city of 48,000, but many doors were locked and the grounds were barren of students.

Justin-Jinich would have graduated next year from Wesleyan, a private liberal arts school in central Connecticut with about 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students. She was a 2006 graduate of the Westtown School, a private Quaker boarding school 25 miles west of Philadelphia. Westtown Head of School John Baird said he spent much of Wednesday informing people that the victim was Justin-Jinich, an honor student who participated in tennis and dance in her high school years.

This is just another in a series of incidents directed at Christians and Jews by politicians, by the media, by homosexuals, by courts and by the ACLU. Christians are subjected to a ceaseless drumbeat of negative bias.

You could not deprive someone of his or her right to free speech unless, of course, that person was a Christian sharing the Gospel. Then “free speech” becomes a matter of debate.

You could not ban any mention of the name of Obama in a public classroom or that would be a lawsuit just waiting to happen. But try talking about Yeshua and watch the lawsuits fly.

You can rent a building for yoga classes that is fine. Trying renting the same building to hold Christian services and watch the lawsuits fly.

Believers in Yeshua have become targets for violence. In America today, there is freedom for everyone except for Christians. Again consider the following:

A pastor was shot dead in the pulpit on Sunday in Illinois

Fourteen other deadly Christian shootings have occurred in the last 10 years

In San Francisco a man strapped a bomb on himself and attempted to blow up a church packed with congregants; fortunately he was apprehended before the bomb went off

A pastor in Oakland was arrested for offering abortion alternatives outside an abortion clinic.

Elementary school officials in Tennessee ordered the phrases “God Bless the USA” and “In God We Trust” covered up on children’s handmade posters

A policeman refused to arrest Christians for sharing their faith and for allegedly committing “disorderly conduct.” He was suspended from his job without pay and threatened with termination

A L.A. college student decided to deliver a required speech on the subject of faith. His professor called him a “fascist bastard” for quoting the following Bible verses: Romans 10:9 “confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord” and Matthew 22:37-38 “love the Lord your God” The professor refused to grade the speech and wrote on the paper “Ask God what your grade is.”

In the state of Washington, college students planning a pro-life event were threatened with expulsion because they didn’t include a pro-abortion viewpoint.

A Texas judge warned that any student mentioning Yeshua at graduation would be jailed for six months.

A major computer company fired a Christian for displaying Bible verses in his cubicle.

A fourth grade student in Missouri was placed in detention for a week for saying grace silently before lunch.

Many of the courts, politicians and public officials totally distort and misunderstand the notion of “separation of church and state.” Many Americans today reject God and any moral authority. Americans do not want their sinful lifestyle confronted. Anything goes in immoral America.

“Christian bashing” is the in thing because Christians are not politically correct, for example, the manner in which Sarah Palin is bashed.

The Christian Anti-Defamation Commission needs your help.

Please pray for our nation, it is our most powerful weapon. Prayer can combat Christian bashing.
We must stand up to those who would tear down our freedoms and silence the proclamation of the Gospel entirely.

Yeshua taught us, when attacked, not to defame our offender and humble ourselves before God, recognizing our own sinfulness. But we must also stand strong for the Gospel. We must not allow ourselves to be stripped of our freedom so that we can fulfill Christ’s great commission.

Christian bashing is not new, Christians have faced it since Yeshua was on earth. Paul and all the early disciples faced it. Today, however, the stakes are very high. If a judeo-Christian America is destroyed, it will be gone for forever.

Keep in mind the first group attacked in this country were the unborn through the evil of abortion, now Christians and Jews are being attacked. Next there will be infanticide, indeed our President voted for and spoke for infanticide when he was a state of Illinois Senator. Next people will be arrested for so-called hate crimes against Muslims and homosexuals. Sooner or later old people will be expendable because they cost too much and sooner or later the state will come after you just as they did in Nazi Germany, Communist USSR, Mao’s Red China, Mussolini’s fascist state and Pol Pot’s Cambodia. Do not believe it can’t happen in America.

Hitler’s hero, Friedrich Nietzsche hated Yeshua with a passion. Hitler adopted his beliefs. Hitler likened the Christian faith to “slave morals” and called the God of the Bible “crazed,” “stupid” and a “despot.” He called Christianity the religion of the desert. Hitler killed at least 15 million people. The Communists in Russia killed an estimated 60 million people. Pol Pot killed two million Cambodians. Mao killed over 72 million people. Yeshua killed no one and offered a message of love and self-sacrifice.

My Boy Tony

Staff Sergeant Tony Wojciechowski

MY BOY TONY
ADAPTED FROM RUDYARD KIPLING’S POEM “MY BOY JACK”

Have you news of my boy Tony?
Not this time.
“When d’you think that he’ll come back?”
Not with this Iraq sand blowing, but in God’s time!

“Has anyone else had word of him?”
Not this time.
Not with this Iraq sand blowing, but in God’s time!

“Oh, dear, what comfort can I find?”
None this time,
Nor any human time, but in God’s time!
Except he did not shame his kind
Not with this Iraq sand blowing, nor in God’s time!

Then hold your head up all the more,
This time,
And every time;
Because he was the son you bore and loved,
And he gave to the American people in our time!

Dear Friends,

I just wanted to share this poem with you. Rudyard Kipling’s son, Jack, was declared missing in WWI and was never found. I took the liberty of changing Kipling’s poem for Tony Wojciechowski.

Joe Biden Was Right

Taliban with Children

Joe Biden was correct, this is the 108th day of Obama’s presidency and he has a major foreign policy crisis on his hands. The nation of Pakistan is on the brink of falling apart. This was my worst fear when Pervez Musharraf was driven from office.

(Musharraf has been traveling abroad since April and has shown no inclination of returning to Pakistan. Like the Shah of Iran, the U.S. will regret the day we did not support our friend Musharraf. I would speculate he will never return because his life is in danger.)

If the Pakistani Army cannot stop the Taliban and Al Qaeda (AQ) in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) our strategic interest in Pakistan will be severely crippled. The Pakistani army is simply not equipped, nor use to fighting a guerrilla force like the Taliban. The Taliban are using human shields as cover and fighting in urban areas so that the Pakistani army is force to inflict heavy civilian casualties. Furthermore, AQ is providing support and troops in the fight against the Pakistani government.

Mr. President, this is not the place to commit our troops. It would be an absolute quagmire for our military, a losing situation for our military that is already stretched thin. Our best tactical option is to use standoff warfare and hit the Taliban and AQ with missiles.

500,000 Pakistanis are fleeing the fighting in the Swat Valley and along the long border with Afghanistan. One million people are now displaced in northwestern Pakistan. Terrified Pakistanis are dodging Taliban roadblocks to flee fighting between the army and insurgents in a northwestern valley. Pakistanis are streaming into refugee camps and crowding hospitals with their fatigued and hungry children.

This situation is critical because Pakistan possesses 50 to 100 nuclear weapons. We must somehow ensure the security of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons. A.Q. Khan, “the father of the Pakistani bomb” will certainly give the bomb to AQ or Iran because he wants to spread the “Islamic bomb”.

Insecurity in Pakistan also creates great fear in nuclear India. So far the Indians have not said much about the situation in FATA publicly.

Meanwhile Pakistan's embattled president appealed to Washington for more help to reverse the expansion of Taliban-held territory to within 60 miles of the capital, Islamabad.

On Thursday, several thousand men, women and children poured through Swat's main town, Mingora, in search of safety.

The hospitals in Mardan treated dozens of civilians with serious gunshot and shrapnel wounds.

Yar Mohammad, a 50-year-old stonemason said, "Now I am seeing the buildings that I have helped to construct being blown up and destroyed." He had "poured his blood" and his best years into the development of Swat, once a haven for tourists drawn to its Alpine-like scenery.

Some residents complained that the Taliban had blocked their escape. Ayaz Khan said he loaded his family into his car Thursday in the Kanju area of Swat only to find rocks, boulders and tree trunks laid across the roads, forcing him to turn back.

Military operations are taking place in three districts that stretch over some 400 square miles. Much of the fighting has been in the Swat Valley's main city of Mingora, a militant hub that is home to around 360,000 people. Witnesses said armed Taliban militants were roaming the streets of Mingora and would not let civilians leave. Pakistani troops fired artillery and helicopters launched air strikes on militant targets in the area. General Ashfaz Parvez Kayani, the chief of Pakistan's army, said the army would commit enough of its resources to "ensure a decisive ascendancy over the militants."

But some frustrated people said there was no sign of a major military push in Swat. Yar Mohammed added, "If the government, the army wants to control and crush the Taliban, why don't they send ground troops to flush them out? Why they are only shelling people, which hurts the public most of all and creates anti-government feeling?"

Pakistan has launched at least a dozen operations in the border region in recent years and most ended inconclusively and after massive destruction and significant civilian deaths. The tribal territory is a haven for AQ and the Taliban. The Swat peace accord between the Pakistani government and the Taliban, reached in February, began unraveling last month when Taliban fighters moved into Buner, even closer to Islamabad. Troops are also fighting the Taliban and AQ in the nearby Dir region. Every peace accord between the Pakistani government and the Taliban or tribesmen in the frontier area has failed.

A spokesman for Sufi Muhammad, the cleric who helped put together the peace deal, said Muhammad's son died in army shelling in Dir late Wednesday.

Izzat Khan accused the government of unleashing the army "to appease America and get dollars," a common view among Pakistanis. This view is strengthened by the coincidence of the latest fighting with Zardari's high-profile visit to Washington.

Fires in Santa Barbara, CA
Biden Insults Israel
US Vice President Joe Biden and Senator John Kerry stepped up pressure on Israel’s new government on Tuesday to accept the goal of a Palestinian state and halt the expansion of Jewish settlements on the occupied land.

Biden spoke at the annual policy conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and said, “Israel’s security is non-negotiable but Israel has to work toward a two-state solution. The US would continue to provide Israel the assistance it needs and allow it to make its own judgments about what it must do to defend itself. You’re not going to like my saying this, but do not build more settlements, dismantle existing outposts and allow Palestinians the freedom of movement.” Here is my translation of what Biden said: You Israelis will do what Obama tells you or else and I am lying to you about your security, you will learn to live with murderous Muslims.

Biden called on the Arab states to support and fund Palestinian security and other institutions in the West Bank. The radical terrorist group Hamas controls the Gaza Strip and routinely attacks Fatah, Mahmoud Abba’s group.

Biden added, “Now is the time for the Arab states to make meaningful gestures to show the Israeli leadership and the Israeli people that the promise of ending Israel’s isolation in the region is real and genuine. They must take action now.” Here is my translation of what Arabs will tell Obama: Sure we will do a peace treaty with Israel on our terms. Mr. Biden, a peace treaty with Hamas, Iran or Hizbullah isn’t worth the paper it is written on.

John Kerry, a Democrat, made specific pleas to the Arab states when he spoke to the conference. He urged the Arab states to start “treating Israel like a normal country, end the boycott, let El Al fly over their countries and meet Israeli leaders.” Kerry added, “lack of support from the Arab states” was a key reason for the failure of the Palestinian-Israeli peace talks in 2000 and the years of violence. My translation: Mr. Kerry some of these Arabs are Nazis bent on pushing the Jews into sea.

Kerry welcomed the Arab peace initiative of 2002, which called for normalizing ties with Israel in exchange for the Jewish state ending the occupation of Arab lands seized in 1967. Kerry said, “Arabs cannot wait for Israel to make all the sacrifices” for improving relations, Kerry said. “They (Arabs) should start doing so right now.”

Biden also focused on the Obama administration’s efforts to persuade Iran to abandon its nuclear program, which Israel sees as a threat to its existence. Biden said, “We will pursue direct, principled diplomacy with Iran with the overriding goal of preventing it from acquiring nuclear weapons. The US will approach Iran initially in the spirit of mutual respect. We want Iran to take its rightful place in the community of nations politically and economically.” My translation: We will talk to the Iranians like we have talked to North Koreans. We will talk forever and in the end accomplish nothing. Mr. Biden have you read about “twelvers?” The mullahs and theocrats in Iran are not rational human beings. They want chaos, they want apocalypse now. The Obama administration is violating the first principle of diplomacy: know your enemy.
In response to Biden and Kerry, Hamas leader Khaleed Meshaal said that Hamas could support a two-state solution with Israel based on the 1967 borders, but repeated it was not prepared to recognize the Jewish state. Mr. Biden and Kerry listen to Meshaal he will never recognize Israel.

Meshaal said, “We support a two-state solution on the 1967 borders, based on a long-term truce,” he told the NYT. “This includes East Jerusalem, the dismantling of settlements and the right of return of the Palestinian refugees. Asked as to what was meant by “long-term,” Meshaal said it meant “10 years.”

It seems that when Meshaal mentions a 10 year peace treaty with Israel he is referring to the brief peace treaty ushered in by the anti-Christ between Israel and its enemies. This is the false peace the apostle John wrote about in the Book of Revelation. Once again Meshaal refuses to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist. So the Obama administration expects Israel to give up land in exchange for no security and no right to exist, only an Utopian Democratic socialist would do such a thing!

Furthermore, Israel would be overwhelmed if all the Arabs returned to Israel. Khaleed, what about all the Jews kicked out of Muslim lands in 1948 and since? Do the 800,000 Jews get to return to their homes? Do they get their property back?

Meanwhile, our politicians are bringing the wrath of God down on the United States. It is not a coincidence that each time President Obama, Joe Biden, John Kerry or someone else in the administration talks about giving up Israel’s land that severe weather or some other catastrophe batters the United States.

For example, an out-of-control, wind-driven wildfire bore down on Santa Barbara on Wednesday, destroying some 20 homes in the foothills, forcing thousands of residents to evacuate and injuring three firefighters.

The fire, which ignited in the dry brush on Tuesday and might be arson, has blackened some 500 acres around Santa Barbara. The fire has left behind burned out shells where multimillion-dollar mansions once stood. At least 20 homes have been burned to the ground.

Other neighborhoods are in jeopardy as more than 900 firefighters struggle to make headway against flames whipped by hot, dry Santa Ana winds through steep and sometimes inaccessible canyons.

Fire spokesman David Sadecki said, "We are in a state of extreme emergency, " this blaze is very difficult to fight because of the "extreme weather." Temperatures are over 100 degrees Fahrenheit and winds are gusting at up to 50 miles per hour.

Fourteen strike teams, including 70 engines and three helicopters, battled the blaze. The helicopters, normally grounded after dark, continued dropping water on the fire for much of the night.

The three firefighters suffered burns and respiratory injuries when their engine was engulfed in flame. Their hoses burned through as they tried to protect a home.

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger declared a state of emergency for Santa Barbara County.

The fire slowed as winds eased late on Wednesday night but officials worried that it was burning in the direction of downtown Santa Barbara and residents were told they might need to evacuate overnight.

The firefighters were hoping for a break from the weather on Thursday, but weathermen predicted that the Santa Ana winds, which blow in from the California desert, would persist at least another day.

Santa Barbara County asked for aid from fire crews across the state and they expected help some 100 engines and 400 firefighters, although other California communities were keeping a wary on their own dry hillsides. Approximately 38% of California has been under drought conditions for the last three years.

The fire began Tuesday afternoon in the foothills above San Roque Canyon and grew quickly grew. Six months ago, a wind-driven, 2,000-acre blaze destroyed more than 200homes in Santa Barbara and neighboring Montecito.

After the presidential election on 4 November 2008 homosexuals marched throughout California protesting the defeat of proposition 8 outlawing homosexual marriage. Shortly thereafter huge fires break out in L.A. area. Since June 2008 fires in California have cost the state over $300 million. The state of California is now over $250 million in debt from fires.

Elsewhere, crews near Ft. Huachuca and Sierra Vista, AZ were battling a wildfire that had burned four or five homes and injured one person. The fire had charred about 4,200 acres of rolling grassland, dry brush and scattered trees near Fort Huachuca, and containment was rated at zero late Tuesday. Three homes and several vehicles and outbuildings were torched.

Severe weather has pummeled Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia. These five states have been hit with 30 tornadoes since Friday. There is flooding from Oklahoma to West Virginia. A micro blast collapsed the Dallas Cowboys practice tent and paralyzed a coach.

A Derecho, two are pictured above, is a deadly and spectacular weather phenomenon that has also appeared. A Derecho is a straight long line of thunderstorms with extreme winds. Tornadoes are vertical in nature while a Derecho is horizontal in nature. A Derecho can extend for 800 miles and can be 250 miles wide with downward winds of 130 MPH. Derechos can travel at 50 to 70 MPH and keep going for days.

Huge thunderstorms are expected Thursday from Dallas, TX to Atlanta, GA. These thunderstorms will pack damaging, winds, torrential downpours with heavy flooding, large hail and tornadoes

The following cities could also post a record for highest temperature on 7 May:
Orlando, FL 94
Laredo, TX 109
Lubbock, TX 102
Albuquerque, NM 93
Midland, TX 108

Bottom Line: We are in desperate need of prayers for our nation on this National Day of Prayer. Lord, we ask for your forgiveness for all of our sins. The pace of supernatural events is picking up in intensity and each of us needs to be prepared for Yeshua's glorious and triumphant return!

Robert Malley Part 1

Robert Malley

Once again the Grassroot Conservative spotlights another surrogate and sycophant of George Soros and one of Barack Obama’s radical fellow travelers. The Grassroot Conservative believes unelected people who have hidden, sinister and anti-American agendas, are directing our government. These people are doing great harm to our nation and endangering American citizens.

Robert Malley was born in 1963 to Barbara (née Silverstein) Malley, a New Yorker who worked for the United Nations delegation of the Algerian National Liberation Front (FLN). Robert’s father, Simon Malley (1923–2006), was an Egyptian-born Jewish journalist who grew up in Egypt and worked as a foreign correspondent for Al Goumhourya, Gamal Abdul Nasser's official government newspaper. Simon Malley was a key figure in the Egyptian Communist Party. Simon hated Israel and was a close friend of Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) terrorist leader Yasser Arafat. He also helped put the FLN on the world map.

Simon was a constant critic of “Western imperialism” and supported revolutionary “national liberation movements” around the world including, of course, the PLO. Simon Malley received Soviet funding and he supported the 1979 Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.

In 1969 the Malleys moved to France and Simon founded the magazine Africasia which trumpeted the causes of the newly-independent states such as Algeria and Egypt, and left-wing national liberation movements around the world.

The Malleys lived in France until 1980, when President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing expelled Simon Malley from the country. The Grassroot Conservative does not know why Malley was expelled. Simon Malley spent time in Geneva, Switzerland and returned to France after François Mitterrand's election.

Simon’s son, Robert Malley attended Yale University, and was a 1984 Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, where he earned a Ph.D. in political philosophy. There he wrote his doctoral thesis about Third-worldism and its decline. Robert wrote on foreign policy topics, but focused on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He earned a J.D. at Harvard Law School, where he met his future wife, Caroline Brown. Barack Obama was Malley’s fellow law school student and colleague.

In 1991-1992, Malley clerked for Supreme Court Justice Byron White, his wife clerked for Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.

After his Supreme Court clerkship, Malley became a Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations where he published The Call From Algeria: Third Worldism, Revolution, and the Turn to Islam. This book charts Algerian politics from 1900 to the present. He explored the historical and intellectual underpinnings of the crisis in Algeria. His book received critical acclaim from leftists.

Malley served in the Clinton administration as Director for Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs at the National Security Council from 1994–1996. In that post he helped coordinate refugee policy, promoted democracy and human rights abroad and helped direct U.S. policy toward Cuba. From 1996-1998 he was Executive Assistant to National Security Advisor Samuel Berger. (Remember Berger, he took classified U.S. documents home with him.) In October 1998 Malley was appointed Special Assistant to President Clinton for Arab-Israeli Affairs, a post he held until the end of the administration in 2001.

After the Clinton administration, Malley became Senior Policy Advisor for the Center for Middle East Peace and Economic Development in Washington, D.C. He later became Program Director for Middle East and North Africa at the International Crisis Group (ICG) in Washington, D.C., and supervised the Center’s analysts in Amman, Cairo, Beirut, Tel Aviv and Baghdad. Malley and his analysts covered events from Iran to Morocco but focused heavily on the Arab-Israeli conflict, the situation in Iraq, Islamic movements in the Middle East and developments in the U.S. that affect policy toward the Middle East. Thursday 7 May - National Day of Prayer

George Washington Praying at Valley Forge

Each year the first Thursday in May is the National Day of Prayer, a day that encourages Americans to pray for the United States, it’s people, and its leaders.

My fellow citizens, our nation desperately needs our prayers. We are surrounded by a host of domestic and international threats. The nation faces an epidemic of depression, violence and lawlessness springing from the spirit of the anti-Christ that is growing in our nation. We no longer have the benefit of two oceans to protect us in the age of ICBMs. Additionally, we need to pray that the next choice for the U.S. Supreme Court will be a Christian. This judge will play a crucial role in our nation’s future.

The tradition of a National Day of Prayer dates to 1775, when the Second Continental Congress set aside a day for Americans to pray to “be ever under the care and protection of a kind Providence” as they began the struggle for independence. In the following decades, Congress and the president set aside various days for prayer. In 1863, for example, Lincoln proclaimed “a day of national humiliation, fasting, and prayer” to help the country get through “the awful calamity of civil war” and for “the restoration of our now divided and suffering Country to its former happy condition of unity and peace.”

Likewise today our nation is engaged in a Global War against Terrorism. Today’s terrorists are both domestic and international and know no bounds of human decency. Our soldiers are spread around the world and need your prayers to uplift them in their difficult tasks. Pray for the returning combat veterans who have a difficult time coping with stress and re-adjusting to peacetime; pray for our wounded soldiers and the families of deceased soldiers who bear the awful burden of having lost a child; pray that we find American contractors, like Tim Bell, who is missing in Iraq.

In 1952 Congress and President Truman established a National Day of Prayer as a yearly event. President Truman called for a day “on which all of us in our churches, in our homes, and in our hearts, may beseech God to grant us wisdom to know the course which we should follow, and strength and patience to pursue that course steadfastly.”

In 1988 President Reagan designated the first Thursday in May as the National Day of Prayer, urging Americans to ask God for “His blessings, His peace, and the resting of His kind and holy hands on ourselves, our Nation, our friends in the defense of freedom, and all mankind, now and always.”

Some of our citizens have chosen to forget about God. We can restore this nation if we repent and turn to God again.

Finally, we need to get on our knees and thank the Lord for being born in the greatest country in the world. Our nation has been blessed with bounties beyond belief. Each of us could just as easily been born in some hellhole elsewhere in the world.

Middle East Update

Herod's Temple
Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah

LEBANON
Hizbullah stands a good chance of winning Lebanon's June 7 parliamentary elections. That could mean a stunning shake-up for one of the Middle East's most volatile countries, replacing a pro-US government with a coalition dominated from behind the scenes by Hizbullah, the proxy of Iran and Syria in Lebanon.

The US ambassador in Beirut has expressed concern, and Hizbullah's opponents warn that the West will isolate Lebanon and Washington will reduce its millions in aid.

Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah’s deputy, Sheikh Naim Kassem, says the West will have to accept the election results. Kassem said foreign diplomats are already approaching Hizbullah, "some wanting to open a new page." Britain has said it is willing to talk to Hizbullah's "political wing" and a Hizbullah member of the current parliament recently traveled to London.

A Hizbullah win would mean changes that would dismay the West and Israel. It would mean less pressure from Lebanon's government to rein in Hizbullah's arsenal of rockets pointed at the Jewish state and more backing for efforts to change Lebanon's electoral system to solidify Shi'ite power further.
Iran and Syria will succeed in adding Lebanon to their bloc; it would be a huge defeat for the West.

Lebanon has a complex political system, no group can rule alone. The 128-member legislature must be half Christian and half-Muslim, with the Christians divided among Orthodox and Catholic parties and Muslims among Shi'ite, Sunni, Druse and Alawite sects. Moreover, in any government, the prime minister must be a Sunni, so Hizbullah would need allies from that sect.
Lebanon's population of 4 million is roughly divided in thirds between Christians, Sunnis and Shi'ites, with smaller sects mixed in. The exact numbers are unknown because a census would be too politically risky - the last one was held in 1932.

The pro-US bloc - largely Sunnis with Christian allies - holds 70 seats in the 128-member parliament, so a handful of races could tip the balance.

The leader of the pro-US bloc, Sunni billionaire Saad Hariri, said a Hizbullah win would "put Lebanon into very difficult times," threatening its economic growth.

Since 2006, the United States has committed over a billion dollars to Lebanon, including $410 million to the country's security forces.

A victory by Hizbullah would push “The Party of God” to fulfill its campaign promise to eliminate the sectarian distribution of parliament seats, which would boost the power of the growing Shi'ite population. Hizbullah would also see a win as a mandate for its opposition to US Middle East policies and its strong anti-Israeli line.

ISRAEL
A classified assessment prepared for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Obama would diminish U.S. strategic cooperation with Israel. An Israeli official said, "Obama wants to make friends with our worst enemies and until now the worst enemies of the United States under Obama’s policy, we are more than irrelevant, we have become an obstacle."

Israeli sources say the Obama administration will reject Israel’s threat intelligence on Iran and Syria.

On April 20, Israeli military intelligence commander Maj. Gen. Amos Yadlin warned the Israeli cabinet that Obama was prepared to allow Iran to assemble nuclear weapons and support Hamas and Hizbullah. General Yadlin said, "Obama wants to advance the peace process in the direction of realistic discussions with extremist elements.” Obama will want to show Iran, Syria and radical Muslims that the United States can pressure Israel. The pressure has already begun and will intensify in the coming years.

Yadlin said Obama was courting the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad and that both Damascus and Tehran have not significantly reduced their support for insurgency groups in the region. Obama's policies have generated dismay among Arab allies of the United States. He said Arab countries such as Egypt and Saudi Arabia were concerned that U.S. reconciliation efforts would encourage Tehran and its proxies to intensify destabilization efforts. "The Arab world is starting to understand that Iranian proxies are a threat to the region," Yadlin said. "The Hizbullah activity in Egypt is not an isolated incident. Iran has infrastructures across the world seeking to perpetrate terror attacks against Israel."

At the same time, the Obama administration was expected to restrict U.S. arms exports to Israel in an effort to deny systems that could be used in any attack against Iran or Syria. The intelligence sources said this policy was implemented during the last year of the Bush administration and would intensify under Obama.

Yadlin said, "President Bashar Assad hopes to turn over a new leaf with U.S. President Barack Obama. However, while Western powers are being hosted at the palace in Damascus, Syria is continuing to be used as the back yard of the axis of evil. Assad is letting Hizbullah and Iranian forces freely conduct their affairs in Syria and use its territory for Hizbullah deployment."

The Israeli intelligence assessment envisioned that Obama would maintain his reconciliation policy with Iran and Syria through at least 2010. The sources said the assessment determined that Obama was convinced that such a policy would enable a U.S. withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sometime in 2010 the Iranians will have enough fissile material for a single nuclear weapon; the IAEA says 25 kilograms are necessary. The Iranians could use the fissile material for an underground explosion or wait a year or two and build up a stockpile of about 75 kilograms of fissile material and detonate a bomb above ground.

Personally I believe the Iranians will do an above ground detonation because it will make a bigger public relations splash and rally Muslim allies with news of an "Islamic Bomb".

The Iranians cannot place a nuclear weapon on a ballistic missile capable of reaching Israel. However, they could purchase that technology from North Korea. The Iranian air force is weak and limited in range so it is not the Iranian choice to strike Israel. However, the Russians are upgrading Iran's Air Force.

Israeli officials believe Iran will become a nuclear capable country next year, 2010. According to Secretary of Defense Robert Gates Iran will possess a nuclear weapon by 2013.

Obama's administration believes America can live with a nuclear-armed Iran and Neville Chamberlain told us he preserved peace in our times and that he signed a peace deal with Hitler. Israel will have to part ways with the Obama administration on this point. A nuclear Iran will be able to bend Jerusalem to the will of its radical enemies and neighbors.

Hosni Mubarak of Egypt, with Saudi backing, is standing up to the Iranians and their proxies Hamas and Hizbullah. In April 2009, the Egyptians reported they broken up a plot by a Hizbullah network that operated in Cairo and the Sinai Peninsula. The plotters planned to attack Mubarak and his regime.

Mubarak has criticized Washington's courtship of the revolutionary Islamic republic.

The Egyptians have accused Iran, Syria, Qatar, Hizbullah and Hamas of a conspiracy to overthrow Egyptian government and Nasrallah in Lebanon admitted to the plot to overthrow Mubarak.

Obama is not daunted by the radicalism or enmity of his new friends. At the Summit of All Americas, Obama greeted Hugo Chavez 24 hours after the Venezuelan ruler said: "The United States Empire is on its way down and will be finished in the near future, inshallah! (Allah willing)"

Venezuela and Israel recently severed ties because Chavez hosted a delegation of Hizbullah, an internationally branded a terrorist organization, in Caracas.

Obama continues to woo Bashar Assad of Syria despite Assad’s blunt refusal to loosen his strategic ties with Tehran and his refusal to stop supporting Hizbullah in Lebanon.

For the first time in years, the administration sent a high-ranking delegation to Syria's Independence Day celebrations at a Washington Hotel. Jeffrey Feltman, former ambassador and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs in the U.S. State Department, led the delegation.

Netanyahu gave a condition for peacemaking to George Mitchell. Netanyahu said that Israel be recognized as a Jewish state. Palestinian Authority leaders instantly rejected this condition. Of course, this got very little attention in Washington or the media.

Netanyahu will meet Obama in Washington this month. Netanyahu already knows Israel is no longer a prime factor in US global policy. The U.S. has fundamentally reshuffled its Middle East allegiances and alliances and in the long run the American people will suffer.

Chief of staff Rahm Emanuel told Jewish leaders that if Israel wants America's help for thwarting Iran's nuclear program, Israel must first start evacuating West Bank settlements.

So what options are left to Israel at this juncture?
1. To bow under to Obama tempest until it blows over. There will be a long wait for the Israelis in that option.
2. Netanyahu could follow Prime Minister Menahem Begin example from 1981. Begin stood up to Ronald Reagan's fierce objections and sent the Israeli Air force to smash the Iraqi nuclear reactor before it was operational. Saddam Hussein never rebuilt the facility. By following in Begin's footsteps before it is too late, Netanyahu would change the rules of the game regionally and globally.
3. Israel could go for a more modest target, one of Iran's faithful surrogates – Syria, Hamas or Hizbullah. If the Gaza offensive against Hamas last January was meant to send this message, it failed. Hamas is still the dominant Palestinian power and Barack Obama was not swayed from his new Middle East policy of appeasement with Iran and other radical world leaders.
4. Israel could decide to stand alone, as the Jews have done many times in history. That will be a sad day in history for the American people!

REBUILD THE JEWISH TEMPLE
Moshe Feiglin, head of the Jewish Leadership Movement said that if he were elected prime minister, he would try to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem. He said, "I don't know if I will have the merit of doing something that is the aspiration of every Jew but if I become prime minister I will take away control over the Temple Mount from the Wakf [the Islamic trust] and reinstate Jewish sovereignty over the entire mount and, hopefully, rebuild the Temple." Feiglin said that rebuilding the Temple and all that it symbolized was the essence of a Jewish state.

Feiglin said he still harbored ambitions of replacing Netanyahu and becoming Israel's next prime minister. Meanwhile, Rabbi Zalman Melamed, a leading spiritual leader of the settlement movement said he envisioned a time when a majority of Israelis would be religious. He said, "There is a steady process unfolding in which the state is gradually becoming more religious. There are growing numbers of newly religious families. There is a deep feeling that people want the redemption to arrive already. And part of that process will be the rebuilding of the Temple."

The death of Yeshua in 30 A.D. marked the end of the times of the Jews, or the time when one had to become a Jew to find God. For 40 years, Jewish believers, who were mostly in and around Jerusalem, continued in their Messianic faith. Gentiles, on the other hand, without taking on Jewish tradition, accepted lesous (the Greek spelling of Jesus) as Lord and Savior and continued to follow their Greek culture.
Then came the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. and the times of the Gentiles, which began with the death of Yeshua, emerged in its fullness after 40 years. The times of the Jews, which began to ebb with the captivities, heard its death knell with the crucifixion of Yeshua. It finally came to a total halt with the destruction of Jerusalem.

Hamas Education
Once again observe evil plans as Ms Brooks, a U.S. government official, made statements and plans concerning Israel and on 26 April Swine Flu mutates and breakouts in Mexico and avian flu mutates in Egypt.

On 21 April 2008 Rosa Brooks advisor to Michelle Fluornoy, the undersecretary of defense for policy attacked President Bush stating he "blindly" and "mindlessly" supported Israel. She said President Obama would be less willing to give the Jewish state "blank checks." Ms. Brooks at some point Israel will no longer need the United States. The sooner the Israelis realize they stand-alone the better they will be.

Ms. Brooks is a law professor at the Georgetown University Law Center, where she serves as director of the law school's Human Rights Center. She previously served as special counsel to the “power behind the throne” at Soros' Open Society Institute. She has consulted for Human Rights Watch and served as a board member of Amnesty International USA. She also worked as a columnist for the fourth establishment, the Los Angeles Times. Brooks deliberating distorts history to whitewash and apologize for Palestinian terrorism. Lord Haw Haw would have loved Ms. Brooks.

Brooks wrote that Al-Qaeda was an "obscure group" turned into a massive threat due to U.S. policies. Ms. Brooks obviously did not have relatives or friends On the USS Cole, in our east African embassies, Khobar Towers or the Marine barracks in Beirut. She's also referred to Bush as "our torturer in chief" and a "psychotic who needs treatment" while comparing Bush's arguments for waging a war on terrorism to Adolf Hitler's use of political propaganda. God help us, we are being led by educated idiots like Ms. Brooks. Brooks holds a position that wields enormous power over drafting U.S. military doctrine in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq.

In fact, I would maintain Ms. Brooks is George Soros' surrogate. Here we have a man and a powerful woman who have no elected standing in our government and yet they wield undue malevolent influence.

Brooks is one of those people who assert that Israel's actions in the Middle East fuel anti-American resentment from the Arab world. Brooks wrote, "Israeli policies are a major source of discord in the Islamic world, and anger at Israel usually spills over into anger at the U.S., Israel's biggest backer. With resentment of Israeli policies fueling terrorism and instability both in the Middle East and around the globe, it's past time for Americans to have a serious national debate about how to bring a just peace to the Middle East. Brooks continued "But if criticism of Israel is out of bounds, that debate can't occur – and we'll all pay the price."

What fuels anti-American resentment is evil Ms. Brooks. I know it is hard for you and Nazi sympathizer Soros to comprehend evil. For example, you simply forgot key facts concerning Israel's war in 2006 against the Hizbullah. The conflict broke out when Hizbullah fired rockets at Israel and then launched a border raid in which Hizbullah killed Israeli troops, kidnapped two more soldiers and then kept firing mortars and rockets into Jewish civilian population zones. Jealousy also fuels Hamas and Hizbullah hatred and violence. There are Arabs and Muslims who are jealous of Israeli economic success. They are jealous of what Israel has accomplished in 60 years while Palestinians continue to languish in refugee camps.

Brooks also grossly distorted the historical record by claiming former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was to blame for the failure of U.S.-brokered Israeli-Palestinian negotiations that culminated in a summit at Camp David in 2000. The talks briefly continued into 2001 but broke down in late January after Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat refused an Israeli offer of a Palestinian state in the Gaza Strip, West Bank and eastern Jerusalem. Instead, Arafat launched the "intifada" or terrorist war, aimed at liberating "Palestine" through violence. Ms. Brooks Arafat was a coward, he knew if he took that peace deal to his fellow Arabs and Muslims he would be a dead man like Anwar Sadat. Arafat could accept nothing less than pushing the Jews into the sea.

Ms. Brooks, even President Bill Clinton blamed Arafat so why don’t you quit revising history. Ms. Brooks if you watch the video of Clinton, Barak and Arafat walking at Camp David Arafat keeps a safe distance from Barak. Arafat sent a very careful subliminal message to his people back home – I am dealing the Jew, I want no part of him.

Sharon, perceived as a defense hawk, was elected almost two weeks after the talks collapsed and on the heels of a major Palestinian terrorist campaign. The Palestinians claimed Israel's gestures, under Prime Minister Ehud Barak, didn't go far enough. Ms. Brooks even the Palestinians did not finger Sharon's election as the cause of the collapse, since the talks imploded prior to the election. But according to Brooks, "Israel and the Palestinian Authority came achingly close to a final settlement, but talks broke down after Likud's Ariel Sharon was elected prime minister on Feb. 6, 2001. Sharon refused to meet with Yasser Arafat, and newly inaugurated President George W. Bush had no interest in pushing Israel toward peace."

Brooks has also slammed Israel's 22-day military campaign against Hamas in the Gaza Strip that ended in January 2009. Ms. Brooks why don’t you let my friends and me fire rockets at your neighborhood and house? See how you like getting hit with rockets and mortars two or three times a week.

Ms. Brooks, the apologist, dons her Tokyo Rose robe and claimed "Israel justified its bombardment of Gaza on the grounds that Hamas broke a fragile, temporary cease-fire ... but the timing of the Israeli military offensive has more to do with politics than anything else." Brooks says that the two sides were not on equal footing, claiming that as compared to Israel's military might Hamas "is weak, and its weapons – terrorism, homemade rockets – are the weapons of the weak." Ms. Brooks, thank God Hamas is inferior to the Israelis. If Hamas and Hizbullah weren’t inferior there would be dead Israelis, Americans and Westerners littering the Middle East and elsewhere.

Ms. Brooks conveniently forgets that Israel gave Gaze back to the Palestinians and violence by Hamas on Israelis and Palestinians (who did not agree with Hamas) ensued. Hamas' rocket-fire has devastated Israeli towns. Hamas has fired over 4,000 rockets into Israel killing Israelis and disrupting life for over 100,000 Jewish citizens and people living in Gaza. Hamas started launching the rocket attacks into Israel after the Jewish state unilaterally evacuated its citizens from the Gaza Strip, leaving the strategic territory to Palestinian control.

Brooks also distorted the casualty count in Gaza and failed to differentiate civilians from terrorists and the tact that the Hamas terrorists used human shields including children. Brooks claimed, "The first day of the offensive, Israeli bombs killed at least 180 Palestinians. By Wednesday, the Palestinian death toll exceeded 390."

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), two-thirds of the casualty numbers were Hamas members.

Brooks urged: "It's time for the United States to wake up from its long slumber and reengage – forcefully – with the Middle East peace process. Only the U.S. – Israel's primary supporter and main financial sponsor – can push it to make the hard choices." Ms. Brooks it is time for the American people to get people like you out of government. Unfortunately, we will have to wait almost four years for that. In the meantime you, George and President Obama will do unimaginable harm to Israel and U.S. foreign policy. If these policies persist you will have blood on your hands.

Brooks continued as long as Bush was in the White House, "Israel could count on a U.S. administration that wasn't merely 'supportive' of Israel but blindly, mindlessly so. Obama may be less willing to offer Israel blank checks." Ms. Brooks Bush realized that only the Palestinians and Israelis could bring true peace to their region. They need to find common ground and both sides need to realize they need each other. When they come to that understanding there will be peace and the region will boom. However, senseless hatred and violence on the part of Hamas, Hizbullah and apologists like you will ultimately accomplish nothing.
