Police in Middletown, Connecticut urged Wesleyan University and local Jewish leaders to be "extra vigilant" after concluding that a man suspected of fatally shooting a Wesleyan student at a bookstore may be targeting the school and Jews.

Police officers launched a nationwide manhunt for 29-year-old Stephen Morgan. Authorities believe that Morgan disguised himself with a wig and shot 21-year-old Johanna Justin-Jinich, a junior from Timnath, Colo., at her job at a cafe inside Broad Street Books, a popular bookstore. This was not a random act.

Police maintained a heavy presence Thursday on the normally busy campus, located in this central Connecticut city of 48,000, but many doors were locked and the grounds were barren of students.

Justin-Jinich would have graduated next year from Wesleyan, a private liberal arts school in central Connecticut with about 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students. She was a 2006 graduate of the Westtown School, a private Quaker boarding school 25 miles west of Philadelphia. Westtown Head of School John Baird said he spent much of Wednesday informing people that the victim was Justin-Jinich, an honor student who participated in tennis and dance in her high school years.

This is just another in a series of incidents directed at Christians and Jews by politicians, by the media, by homosexuals, by courts and by the ACLU. Christians are subjected to a ceaseless drumbeat of negative bias.

You could not deprive someone of his or her right to free speech unless, of course, that person was a Christian sharing the Gospel. Then “free speech” becomes a matter of debate.

You could not ban any mention of the name of Obama in a public classroom or that would be a lawsuit just waiting to happen. But try talking about Yeshua and watch the lawsuits fly.

You can rent a building for yoga classes that is fine. Trying renting the same building to hold Christian services and watch the lawsuits fly.

Believers in Yeshua have become targets for violence. In America today, there is freedom for everyone except for Christians. Again consider the following:

A pastor was shot dead in the pulpit on Sunday in Illinois

Fourteen other deadly Christian shootings have occurred in the last 10 years

In San Francisco a man strapped a bomb on himself and attempted to blow up a church packed with congregants; fortunately he was apprehended before the bomb went off

A pastor in Oakland was arrested for offering abortion alternatives outside an abortion clinic.

Elementary school officials in Tennessee ordered the phrases “God Bless the USA” and “In God We Trust” covered up on children’s handmade posters

A policeman refused to arrest Christians for sharing their faith and for allegedly committing “disorderly conduct.” He was suspended from his job without pay and threatened with termination

A L.A. college student decided to deliver a required speech on the subject of faith. His professor called him a “fascist bastard” for quoting the following Bible verses: Romans 10:9 “confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord” and Matthew 22:37-38 “love the Lord your God” The professor refused to grade the speech and wrote on the paper “Ask God what your grade is.”

In the state of Washington, college students planning a pro-life event were threatened with expulsion because they didn’t include a pro-abortion viewpoint.

A Texas judge warned that any student mentioning Yeshua at graduation would be jailed for six months.

A major computer company fired a Christian for displaying Bible verses in his cubicle.

A fourth grade student in Missouri was placed in detention for a week for saying grace silently before lunch.

Many of the courts, politicians and public officials totally distort and misunderstand the notion of “separation of church and state.” Many Americans today reject God and any moral authority. Americans do not want their sinful lifestyle confronted. Anything goes in immoral America.

“Christian bashing” is the in thing because Christians are not politically correct, for example, the manner in which Sarah Palin is bashed.

The Christian Anti-Defamation Commission needs your help.

Please pray for our nation, it is our most powerful weapon. Prayer can combat Christian bashing.
We must stand up to those who would tear down our freedoms and silence the proclamation of the Gospel entirely.

Yeshua taught us, when attacked, not to defame our offender and humble ourselves before God, recognizing our own sinfulness. But we must also stand strong for the Gospel. We must not allow ourselves to be stripped of our freedom so that we can fulfill Christ’s great commission.

Christian bashing is not new, Christians have faced it since Yeshua was on earth. Paul and all the early disciples faced it. Today, however, the stakes are very high. If a judeo-Christian America is destroyed, it will be gone for forever.

Keep in mind the first group attacked in this country were the unborn through the evil of abortion, now Christians and Jews are being attacked. Next there will be infanticide, indeed our President voted for and spoke for infanticide when he was a state of Illinois Senator. Next people will be arrested for so-called hate crimes against Muslims and homosexuals. Sooner or later old people will be expendable because they cost too much and sooner or later the state will come after you just as they did in Nazi Germany, Communist USSR, Mao’s Red China, Mussolini’s fascist state and Pol Pot’s Cambodia. Do not believe it can’t happen in America.

Hitler’s hero, Friedrich Nietzsche hated Yeshua with a passion. Hitler adopted his beliefs. Hitler likened the Christian faith to “slave morals” and called the God of the Bible “crazed,” “stupid” and a “despot.” He called Christianity the religion of the desert. Hitler killed at least 15 million people. The Communists in Russia killed an estimated 60 million people. Pol Pot killed two million Cambodians. Mao killed over 72 million people. Yeshua killed no one and offered a message of love and self-sacrifice.
