GALATIANS 5:11

11 And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then the offense of the cross has ceased.

TODAY THE CROSS IS A SENTIMENTAL ITEM TO MOST PEOPLE

THE CROSS IS DESPISED

IT IS A STUMBLING BLOCK

IT PROVOKES SCORN

MOST PEOPLE ARE AFRAID OF IT

WHAT WE HUMANS HAVE DEFEATED IN NATURE, WE CAN’T DEFEAT IN OURSELVES

THE CROSS CONDEMNS THE WORLD

IT CONDEMNED HEROD & PILATE

ALL OUR ANSWERS ARE FOUND AT THE CROSS

EVERY CULTURE IN THE WORLD HAS BLOOD SACRIFICE    

THE DIFFERENCE IN OFFERINGS BETWEEN CAIN & ABEL WAS A BLOOD OFFERING

BLOOD SYMBOLIZES LIFE

THERE IS NO FORGIVENESS W/O SHEDDING OF BLOOD

BLOOD JUSTIFIES

BLOOD STOPS WRATH

IT CLEANSED OUR SINS

THE CROSS DEMANDS A MORAL LIFESTYLE

THE CROSS IS THE ONLY WAY TO SALVATION

THE ONLY WAY TO GET RIGHT WITH GOD

IT COMBATS OUR FLESHLY MINDS
