The Watchman On The Wall

The Watchman On The Wall
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Verse 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Duty, Honor, Country

The recent fiasco involving Nancy Pelosi and her false claim that CIA officials lied to her reflects the sad state of morality among our nation’s elected officials. In recent years a number of politicians have been forced to resign from their positions.

On May 12, 1962, West Point Military Academy awarded General Douglas MacArthur the Thayer Award given each year to a citizen whose service to the nation has exemplified West Point’s motto, Duty, Honor, Country. The speech below is the one MacArthur delivered when he accepted the award.

Duty, Honor, Country. These three hallowed words reverently dictate what you ought to be, what you can be, what you will be. They are your rallying points to build courage when courage seems to fail, to regain faith when there seems to be little cause for faith, to create hope when hope becomes forlorn…

The unbelievers will say they are but words…But these are some of the things they do. They build your basic character. They mold you for your future roles as the custodians of the nation’s defense. They make you strong enough to know when you are weak, and brave enough to face yourself when you are afraid.

They teach you to be proud and unbending in honest failure, but humble and gentle in success; not to substitute words for action; not to seek the path of comfort, but to face the stress and spur of difficulty and challenge; to learn to stand up in the storm, but to have compassion on those who fall; to master yourself before you seek to master others; to have a heart that is clean, a goal that is high; to learn to laugh, yet never forget how to weep; to reach into the future, yet never neglect the past; to be serious, yet never take yourself too seriously; to be modest so that you will remember the simplicity of true greatness, the open mind of true wisdom, the meekness of true strength.

Robert Malley Part 2

In 2007 Obama selected Malley as a foreign policy adviser. Malley’s penchant for negotiating with enemies of the U.S. and Israel has created a powerful influence on President Obama and as we heard during the presidential campaign Obama has a strong penchant for associating with radicals like Malley.

During the Obama presidential campaign Malley and Obama severed ties with one another after the Times of London reported that Malley had been meeting privately with Hamas leaders on a regular basis. Obama had publicly pledged never to do such a thing. Mr. President what were you trying to hide about Mr. Malley that would be so embarrassing? At the time, Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt said: “Rob Malley has, like hundreds of other experts, provided informal advice to the campaign in the past. He has no formal role in the campaign and he will not play any role in the future.” This is just another example of the lies Obama is able to get away with while the “fellow travelers” in the media in this country sleep and say nothing.

Surprise, within hours of Obama’s election victory, Malley was on his way to Syria. Just two days after his election victory Obama’s first diplomatic act was to send Malley to meet with to meet with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Malley outlined Obama’s administration’s new Middle East policy for the Egyptians and Syrians. I would speculate that Mubarak was well aware of Robert and Simon Malley’s background and probably told Malley he fears the Iranians more than the Israelis. Mubarak should be wary because if Malley has his way the Muslim Brotherhood will take over Egypt and have Mubarak killed.

President Obama and Malley have called for Israel to engage in peace negotiations with Syria without any pre-conditions. Mr. Malley, all the Israelis want is for Syria to recognize Israel’s right to exist and the Syrians refuse to do that.

Let’s look at the Syrian record. Syria was been the chief supporter of Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQIZ). The Syrians refuse to do more to thwart AQIZ infiltration into Iraq and cut off the flow of suicide bombers who fly into Damascus and then sneak across the border into Iraq. Damascus is also the headquarters of the terrorist organization Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the longtime sponsor of Hamas. The Hamas charter explicitly calls for the annihilation of Israel. Khaleed Mashaal, the leader of Hamas, directs the terrorist group from his headquarters in Damascus, Syria. Most importantly, Syria and Iran are linked together in a military alliance.

Robert Malley wrote an article and blamed the Israelis for the failure of the Camp David peace talks. Other participants at the peace parley disagree with Malley’s view of Camp David. Malley’s revisionist history does not reconcile with the views of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, then-U.S. President Bill Clinton, and then-U.S. Middle East envoy Dennis Ross. As I have written previously if one examines the video of Clinton, Barak and Arafat walking at Camp David it becomes clear (in my mind) that Arafat is keeping an arm’s length distance from Barak. In my opinion, Arafat was sending a public subliminal message to his fellow Arabs back home that he was not going to make a deal with the Jews.

Malley has a history of writing on controversial subjects. He wrote an article with Hussein Agha, a former adviser to Arafat. Malley and Agha always exonerated Arafat and blamed the Israelis for the failure of the peace process. Malley has written numerous articles urging the U.S. to disengage from Israel and he recommends that America negotiate with its Arab enemies such as Syria, Hamas, Hezbollah and Muqtada al-Sadr without any pre-conditions. Malley has also advised nations around the world to send financial aid to the Hamas government in Gaza. Mr. Malley it is such donations that fund terrorist plots and attacks against Israel. There is no guarantee that Hamas will use the money for benevolent purposes. The U.S. has shut down numerous Arab charities because they were funneling money to terrorists.

Malley believes that it is both unreasonable and unrealistic for Israel to demand that Syria sever its ties with Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Iran. Malley believes that if Israel just gives up the Golan Heights Damascus will automatically pursue peace with Israel. Maybe that works in Malley’s fuzzy world of academia but not in real life. Mr. Malley these people want to push the Jews in the Mediterranean Sea. Mr. Malley you claim to know Middle East history. The Ba’ath Party in Syria and Iraq was founded in part on the philosophy of Fichte a precursor to Nazi Germany.

Malley has criticized the U.S. for allegedly remaining “on the sidelines” and being a “no-show” in the overall effort to bring peace to the nations of the Middle East. Mr. Malley George Bush was correct the Middle Eastern terrorists and their state sponsors do not share our western values of decency. They are murderous thugs and dictators. Israel gave up southern Lebanon and got pummeled with Hizbullah rockets. Israel gave up Gaza and in return got pummeled with Hamas rockets. Now you and President Obama want the Jews to give up East Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria (the West Bank). What will Israel get in return? Land for peace has not worked for Israel. Israel needs an absolute guarantee of security. Israel needs her enemies to recognize Israel’s right to exist. Mr. Malley below is part of the Hamas covenant; have you read Article Thirty-Two of the Hamas covenant? Have you read Mein Kampf?

Hamas Covenant: Article Thirty-Two:

World Zionism, together with imperialistic powers, try through a studied plan and an intelligent strategy to remove one Arab state after another from the circle of struggle against Zionism, in order to have it finally face the Palestinian people only. Egypt was, to a great extent, removed from the circle of the struggle, through the treacherous Camp David Agreement. They are trying to draw other Arab countries into similar agreements and to bring them outside the circle of struggle.

The Islamic Resistance Movement calls on Arab and Islamic nations to take up the line of serious and persevering action to prevent the success of this horrendous plan, to warn the people of the danger emanating from leaving the circle of struggle against Zionism. Today it is Palestine, tomorrow it will be one country or another. The Zionist plan is limitless. After Palestine, the Zionists aspire to expand from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they will have digested the region they overtook, they will aspire to further expansion, and so on. Their plan is embodied in the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion", and their present conduct is the best proof of what we are saying.

Leaving the circle of struggle with Zionism is high treason, and cursed be he who does that. "for whoso shall turn his back unto them on that day, unless he turneth aside to fight, or retreateth to another party of the faithful, shall draw on himself the indignation of Allah, and his abode shall be hell; an ill journey shall it be thither." (The Spoils - verse 16). There is no way out except by concentrating all powers and energies to face this Nazi, vicious Tatar invasion. The alternative is loss of one's country, the dispersion of citizens, the spread of vice on earth and the destruction of religious values. Let every person know that he is responsible before Allah, for "the doer of the slightest good deed is rewarded in like, and the does of the slightest evil deed is also rewarded in like."

The Islamic Resistance Movement considers itself to be the spearhead of the circle of struggle with world Zionism and a step on the road. The Movement adds its efforts to the efforts of all those who are active in the Palestinian arena. Arab and Islamic Peoples should augment by further steps on their part; Islamic groupings all over the Arab world should also do the same, since all of these are the best-equipped for the future role in the fight with the warmongering Jews.

"..and we have put enmity and hatred between them, until the day of resurrection. So often as they shall kindle a fire of war, Allah shall extinguish it; and they shall set their minds to act corruptly in the earth, but Allah loveth not the corrupt doers." (The Table - verse 64).

Mr. Malley it seems the old adage about fathers and sons is true. Apples do not fall from the trees. I would urge you to read Psalm 83 below.

1 O God, do not keep silent;
be not quiet, O God, be not still.
2 See how your enemies are astir,
how your foes rear their heads.
3 With cunning they conspire against your people;
they plot against those you cherish.
4 "Come," they say, "let us destroy them as a nation,
that the name of Israel be remembered no more."
5 With one mind they plot together;
they form an alliance against you-
6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites,
of Moab and the Hagrites,
7 Gebal, [a] Ammon and Amalek,
Philistia, with the people of Tyre.
8 Even Assyria has joined them
to lend strength to the descendants of Lot.
Selah
9 Do to them as you did to Midian,
as you did to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon,
10 who perished at Endor
and became like refuse on the ground.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb,
all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
12 who said, "Let us take possession
of the pasturelands of God."
13 Make them like tumbleweed, O my God,
like chaff before the wind.
14 As fire consumes the forest
or a flame sets the mountains ablaze,
15 so pursue them with your tempest
and terrify them with your storm.
16 Cover their faces with shame
so that men will seek your name, O LORD.
17 May they ever be ashamed and dismayed;
may they perish in disgrace.
18 Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD—
that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.

Abdullah Saleh al-Ajmi, a Kuwaiti

Abdullah Saleh al-Ajmi was released from GTMO in Nov 2005 with 4 other Kuwaitis.

He confessed he was in Afghanistan fighting with the Taliban against the Northern Alliance. He also confessed he fought on the front line for eight months.

Al-Ajmi claimed he was in Afghanistan studying the Quran.

He recanted his confessions because he claimed he had been threatened at GTMO.

In April 2008 al-Ajmi he blew himself up in a suicide attack in Mosul, Iraq. He murdered 13 Iraqi policemen. He entered Iraq through Syria.

A Summary of Evidence memo was prepared for Abdallah Salih Ali Al Ajmi's Administrative Review Board, on 4 February 2005. The memo listed eleven "primary factors favoring continued detention".

Al Ajmi is a Taliban fighter:
Al Ajmi went AWOL from the Kuwaiti military in order to travel to Afghanistan participate in Jihad.
Al Ajmi was issued an AK-47, ammunition and hand grenades by the Taliban.
Al Ajmi participated in military operations against the coalition.
Al Ajmi admitted he was in Afghanistan fighting with the Taliban in the Bagram area.
Al Ajmi was placed in a defensive position by the Taliban in order to block the Northern Alliance. Al Ajmi admitted spending eight months on the front line at the Aiubi Center, Afghanistan.
Al Ajmi admitted engaging in two or three fire fights with the Northern Alliance.
Al Ajmi retreated to the Tora Bora region of Afghanistan and was later captured as he attempted to escape to Pakistan.
Al Ajmi is committed to jihad.
Al Ajmi went AWOL because he wanted to participate in jihad in Afghanistan but could not get leave from the military.
In Aug 2004, Al Ajmi wanted to make sure that when his case goes before the Tribunal, they know that he now is a Jihadist, an enemy combatant, and that he will kill as many Americans as he possibly can.
Upon arrival at GTMO, Al Ajmi has been constantly in trouble. Al Ajmi's overall behavior was aggressive and non-compliant, and he has resided in GTMO's disciplinary blocks throughout his detention.
Based upon a review of recommendations from U.S. agencies and classified and unclassified documents, Al Ajmi is regarded as a continued threat to the United States and its Allies.

Al-Ajmi said the following at one of GTMO hearings: I don't blame the Americans for what they did by bringing us over here and detaining us over here. If I were in their place I would go out and look for terrorism all over the world like they did but I have a feeling it is going to be a just decision by the Americans. That is my feeling. I would do the same thing if I were in their shoes. I would capture the bad people, the terrorists and bring them over here and detain them.

Al Ajmi was repatriated to Kuwait, and taken into Kuwaiti custody on November 3, 2005.
Al Ajmi was freed, on bail, while he awaited trial. Al-Ajmi and the four other Kuwaiti stood trial in March 2006, and were acquitted on July 22, 2006.

The two main charges were that the detainees had helped fund Al Wafa, an Afghan charity with ties to Al Qaeda, and that they had fought alongside the Taliban. Further, the prosecution argued that the detainees actions had endangered Kuwait's political standing and its relations with friendly nations.

The detainees' defense had argued that testimony secured in Guantanamo could not be used in Kuwaiti courts, because the detainees and interrogators hadn't signed them. Further, they had argued, the allegations the USA had directed at them weren't violations of Kuwaiti law.

Mr. President you should be very careful not to release these types of people from GTMO. Someone has blood on their hands for allowing Al-Ajmi to murder 13 Iraqis. There are now approximately 250 prisoners left at GTMO. When I was at GTMO there were 660 prisoners. Only hard core terrorists are left there. I hope that you or your administration do not release these thugs so that they can murder again. However, if they are released and murder again I hope the families of the victims sue you or bring charges against you and members of your administration in criminal or civil court. As far as I am concerned if you release these thugs and they murder again then you should be brought up on impeachment charges for endangering American citizens and our allies.

Pope Benedict XVI's Historic Visit

The Pope’s visit to the Holy Land displays the sad state of secular news in the United States. There has been scant reporting on what I feel is a historic visit. This is a region where great religions intersect; it is the major fault line of our time. Furthermore, believers in Yeshua/Jesus Christ are closely watching for His imminent return although none of us know the exact time or day.

The Pope displayed courage yesterday when he walked out during a ranting speech by the head of the Palestinian Sharia court, Sheikh Taysir al-Tamimi. It was clear from watching the event live that the Pope had no idea what Al-Tamimi was saying because there was no simultaneous translation. When Al-Tamimi's words became apparent, the Pope's advisors tried to interrupt Al-Tamimi. Al Tamimi fiercely denounced Israeli policy in the presence of Pope Benedict on Monday and appealed to the pope to help end what he called the "crimes of the Jewish state." Speaking at an interfaith conference held at the Notre Dame Church in East Jerusalem, al-Tamimi accused Israel of slaughtering women, children and senior citizens. The speech was delivered in Arabic, without simultaneous translation, but after the pope was informed of the political nature of al-Tamimi's speech, he walked out of the conference.

The Sheikh opened his impromptu speech with a story about Saladin, who upheld the rights of Christians after he conquered Jerusalem, stressing that Islam and Christianity must unite against "the Israeli occupation and bring about an independent Palestinian state." "Israel destroyed our home, exiled our people, built settlements, ruined the Muslim holy sites, and slaughtered women, children and senior citizens in Gaza," he continued. At this point, the conference's organizers tried to persuade al-Tamimi to end his spontaneous speech, but to no avail. Addressing the pope at the end of his six-minute address, he said: "Your Holiness, I call on you in the name of the one God, to condemn these crimes and press the Israeli government to halt its aggression against the Palestinian people." Al-Tamimi shook the pope's hand as he left the podium.

The director general of Israel's Chief Rabbinate, Oded Wiener, said, "Sheikh Tamimi embarrassed the pope." He said Tamimi, a familiar and fiery figure in Palestinian public life, had pressured the Catholic organizers to be allowed to speak and that the Jewish members would no longer take part in a long-standing, three-way interfaith dialogue until the sheikh is barred from attending. "The Chief Rabbinate will not continue it as long as Tamimi is part of the Palestinian delegation," Wiener said.

Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov, charged with the pope's visit to Israel, said that Tamimi's statements "hurt, first and foremost, Pope Benedict XVI who came to the Holy Land to promote peace and unity between the peoples of the region and all persons of faith. Israel condemns these words of hatred uttered by the sheikh, who instead of fostering peace and coexistence chose to plant seeds of division and confrontation between Israelis and Palestinians, as well as between Jews, Muslims and Christians." It is a shame that an extremist was the one who represented the Palestinians and the Muslims in this important event in the presence of Pope Benedict.

Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi said, "The speech by Sheikh Taysir Tamimi was not scheduled by the organizers of the meeting. In a meeting dedicated to dialogue, this intervention was a direct negation of what a dialogue should be. We hope that such an incident will not damage the mission of the pope aiming at promoting peace and also inter-religious dialogue."
The incident further marred the start of the German-born pope's five-day tour of Israel and the Palestinian territories. Pope Benedict, in his own speech to the gathering of priests, rabbis and sheikhs, praised their efforts to seek common values and mutual respect to overcome differences in religious practices that "may at times appear as barriers."

Pope Benedict XVI pledged Monday to remember the six million Jews killed in the Holocaust, seeking to repair strains with Jews over one of the most sensitive issues at the start of a visit to Israel and the Palestinian territories.

Pope Benedict’s calls for the establishment of a Palestinian homeland threatened to overshadow the visit by putting him at odds with his Israeli hosts. While Benedict has spoken in favor of a Palestinian homeland in the past, the timing and location of his comments were noteworthy.

This is my main bone of contention with the Pope. Israel via Abraham was given the land in a covenant with God. We, as believers in Yeshua are given our eternal salvation by his blood covenant for us. The Jews cannot not relinquish their covenant with Adonai any more than Yeshua can relinquish his covenant with us. Consider the Holy Scripture below:

(Nehemiah 9:7-8) Thou art the LORD the God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham; {8} And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed thy words; for thou art righteous:

(Nehemiah 9:23) Their children also multipliedst thou as the stars of heaven, and broughtest them into the land, concerning which thou hadst promised to their fathers, that they should go in to possess it.

(1 Kings 8:56) Blessed be the LORD, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by the hand of Moses his servant.

(Ezekiel 37:25) And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

Each time Israel has given up land it has brought violence upon Israelis, for example, the rocket attacks in Gaza by Hamas and the withdrawal from southern Lebanon.

Why doesn’t the Vatican give its small parcel of land back to the Italian state? Why not revoke the Lateran Treaty that the Vatican made with Benito Mussolini? If my memory serves me correctly the Vatican struggle for centuries to free itself from the whims of secular rulers in Europe.

By supporting a division of Israel’s land I feel the Pope will bring harm on the papacy or the Roman Catholic Church. This is the time for the Roman Catholic Church to support Israel. This period of history we are living in is a prelude to the "Times of Jacob’s Troubles".

(Jeremiah 30:7) Alas! For that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Benedict is using a week long pilgrimage to the Holy Land to reach out to Christians, Muslims and Jews. He spent three days in neighboring Jordan before arriving in Israel.

Pope Benedict wants to put a “freeze” on increasing tensions in Jewish-Catholic relations over recent disputes and he also wants to show his solidarity with Christians who are emigrating from the region in large numbers because of Muslim persecution.

"It is right and fitting that during my stay in Israel, I will have the opportunity to honor the memory of the 6 million Jewish victims of the shoah and to pray that humanity will never again witness a crime of such magnitude," the German-born pontiff told a welcoming ceremony at Israel's international airport, using the Hebrew word for Holocaust. He laid a wreath at Israel's national Holocaust memorial, Yad Vashem.

While Israel's relations with the Vatican have improved greatly since Benedict's predecessor, John Paul II, visited in 2000, differences remain, none deeper than the widespread belief in Israel that the Vatican did not do enough to halt the Nazi genocide of European Jewry.

Israel and the Vatican are at odds over the legacy of World War II pontiff Pius XII, a candidate for sainthood. Benedict has referred to Pius as a great churchman, and in September, he praised what he called Pius' "courageous and paternal dedication" in trying to save Jews by quiet diplomacy.

Although Benedict did not visit the main part of the museum, the visit to the Yad Vashem museum was closely watched for two reasons.

First, the Pope recently lifted the excommunication order on Bishop Richard Williamson, an anti-Semitic breakaway bishop who denies the Holocaust.

The controversy surrounding Bishop Williamson has caused officials in the Vatican to discuss reforming of Vatican communications. It became clear that the lifting of the excommunications on the four bishops was carried out with minimal consultation within the Vatican. A common pattern has emerged in this pontificate that shows that Pope Benedict is being poorly advised on possible fallout from his remarks.

Papal spokesman, Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi said the Pope was unaware of Bishop Williamson’s anti-Semitism before the decision was taken to lift his excommunication. Williamson and three other bishops were excommunicated in 1988 for agreeing to be consecrated as bishops of the breakaway Society of St. Pius X without the consent of John Paul II.

It looked to some as if the German-born Pope was condoning or ignoring Williamson’s anti-Semitic views. Only days before Williamson was restored to full rights in the Church he denied the extent of the Holocaust on a Swedish television interview. To make matters worse, the announcement on the lifting of his excommunication was made on the eve of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Second, an exhibit at Yad Vashem contains a controversial description of Pope Pius XII. The Vatican has protested the museum's caption beneath a photograph of Pius XII that claims the wartime pope did little to save the Jews during the World War II and did not protest the Nazi genocide of Jews and maintained a "neutral position." The Vatican hopes the caption will be revised, and has already asked several influential Jewish dignitaries and historians, such as Britain’s Sir Martin Gilbert, to exert pressure to change it.

Ties between the Vatican and Israel were further strained when a senior Vatican official said during Israel's recent military campaign in Gaza that the territory resembled a "big concentration camp." Benedict has also faced questions for his involvement in the Hitler Youth during the war. Benedict said he was coerced like many young Germans during that time.

Despite the Bishop Williamson affair and other problems, some Jewish leaders fully support the Pope coming to the Holy Land. Oded Wiener, spokesman for the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, said the trip was “very important for us, a visit that we’re expecting.” Giuseppe Lara, president of the Assembly of Italian Rabbis, has said that the visit would be “a good thing”.

As soon as the pope arrived at the airport, he urged Israelis and Palestinians to resolve their differences. "The hopes of countless men, women and children for a more secure and stable future depend on the outcome of negotiations for peace. In union with people of goodwill everywhere, I plead with all those responsible to explore every possible avenue in the search for a just resolution of the outstanding difficulties, so that both peoples may live in peace in a homeland of their own within secure and internationally recognized borders."

During a visit with Israeli President Shimon Peres Benedict said, "I hear the cry of those who live in this land for justice, for peace, for respect for their dignity, for lasting security, a daily life free from the fear of outside threats and senseless violence."

Before speaking, the pope met privately with Peres and the parents of Israeli soldier Gilad Schalit, who was captured by Hamas militants three years ago and remains in captivity in the Gaza Strip.

The pope has tried to improve interfaith relations throughout his four-year papacy, and as a cardinal, had a long record of promoting dialogue with other faiths. But Benedict has had to tread carefully on his Middle East visit because of past gaffes.

Benedict angered many in the Muslim world three years ago when he quoted a medieval text that characterized some of Islam's Prophet Muhammad's teachings as "evil and inhuman," particularly "his command to spread by the sword the faith." He later expressed regret that his comments offended Muslims. Before leaving Jordan, he said he had a "deep respect" for Islam.

Israeli police shut down a media center for the pope's visit that the Palestinian Authority had set up at an east Jerusalem hotel. Israeli authorities object to any attempt by the Palestinians to use east Jerusalem for official business because that would suggest Palestinian sovereignty there. Israel captured east Jerusalem in the 1967 “Six Day War” and the Palestinians claim it as capital of a future state.

Police in Middletown, Connecticut urged Wesleyan University and local Jewish leaders to be "extra vigilant" after concluding that a man suspected of fatally shooting a Wesleyan student at a bookstore may be targeting the school and Jews.

Police officers launched a nationwide manhunt for 29-year-old Stephen Morgan. Authorities believe that Morgan disguised himself with a wig and shot 21-year-old Johanna Justin-Jinich, a junior from Timnath, Colo., at her job at a cafe inside Broad Street Books, a popular bookstore. This was not a random act.

Police maintained a heavy presence Thursday on the normally busy campus, located in this central Connecticut city of 48,000, but many doors were locked and the grounds were barren of students.

Justin-Jinich would have graduated next year from Wesleyan, a private liberal arts school in central Connecticut with about 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students. She was a 2006 graduate of the Westtown School, a private Quaker boarding school 25 miles west of Philadelphia. Westtown Head of School John Baird said he spent much of Wednesday informing people that the victim was Justin-Jinich, an honor student who participated in tennis and dance in her high school years.

This is just another in a series of incidents directed at Christians and Jews by politicians, by the media, by homosexuals, by courts and by the ACLU. Christians are subjected to a ceaseless drumbeat of negative bias.

You could not deprive someone of his or her right to free speech unless, of course, that person was a Christian sharing the Gospel. Then “free speech” becomes a matter of debate.

You could not ban any mention of the name of Obama in a public classroom or that would be a lawsuit just waiting to happen. But try talking about Yeshua and watch the lawsuits fly.

You can rent a building for yoga classes that is fine. Trying renting the same building to hold Christian services and watch the lawsuits fly.

Believers in Yeshua have become targets for violence. In America today, there is freedom for everyone except for Christians. Again consider the following:

A pastor was shot dead in the pulpit on Sunday in Illinois

Fourteen other deadly Christian shootings have occurred in the last 10 years

In San Francisco a man strapped a bomb on himself and attempted to blow up a church packed with congregants; fortunately he was apprehended before the bomb went off

A pastor in Oakland was arrested for offering abortion alternatives outside an abortion clinic.

Elementary school officials in Tennessee ordered the phrases “God Bless the USA” and “In God We Trust” covered up on children’s handmade posters

A policeman refused to arrest Christians for sharing their faith and for allegedly committing “disorderly conduct.” He was suspended from his job without pay and threatened with termination

A L.A. college student decided to deliver a required speech on the subject of faith. His professor called him a “fascist bastard” for quoting the following Bible verses: Romans 10:9 “confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord” and Matthew 22:37-38 “love the Lord your God” The professor refused to grade the speech and wrote on the paper “Ask God what your grade is.”

In the state of Washington, college students planning a pro-life event were threatened with expulsion because they didn’t include a pro-abortion viewpoint.

A Texas judge warned that any student mentioning Yeshua at graduation would be jailed for six months.

A major computer company fired a Christian for displaying Bible verses in his cubicle.

A fourth grade student in Missouri was placed in detention for a week for saying grace silently before lunch.

Many of the courts, politicians and public officials totally distort and misunderstand the notion of “separation of church and state.” Many Americans today reject God and any moral authority. Americans do not want their sinful lifestyle confronted. Anything goes in immoral America.

“Christian bashing” is the in thing because Christians are not politically correct, for example, the manner in which Sarah Palin is bashed.

The Christian Anti-Defamation Commission needs your help.

Please pray for our nation, it is our most powerful weapon. Prayer can combat Christian bashing.
We must stand up to those who would tear down our freedoms and silence the proclamation of the Gospel entirely.

Yeshua taught us, when attacked, not to defame our offender and humble ourselves before God, recognizing our own sinfulness. But we must also stand strong for the Gospel. We must not allow ourselves to be stripped of our freedom so that we can fulfill Christ’s great commission.

Christian bashing is not new, Christians have faced it since Yeshua was on earth. Paul and all the early disciples faced it. Today, however, the stakes are very high. If a judeo-Christian America is destroyed, it will be gone for forever.

Keep in mind the first group attacked in this country were the unborn through the evil of abortion, now Christians and Jews are being attacked. Next there will be infanticide, indeed our President voted for and spoke for infanticide when he was a state of Illinois Senator. Next people will be arrested for so-called hate crimes against Muslims and homosexuals. Sooner or later old people will be expendable because they cost too much and sooner or later the state will come after you just as they did in Nazi Germany, Communist USSR, Mao’s Red China, Mussolini’s fascist state and Pol Pot’s Cambodia. Do not believe it can’t happen in America.

Hitler’s hero, Friedrich Nietzsche hated Yeshua with a passion. Hitler adopted his beliefs. Hitler likened the Christian faith to “slave morals” and called the God of the Bible “crazed,” “stupid” and a “despot.” He called Christianity the religion of the desert. Hitler killed at least 15 million people. The Communists in Russia killed an estimated 60 million people. Pol Pot killed two million Cambodians. Mao killed over 72 million people. Yeshua killed no one and offered a message of love and self-sacrifice.

My Boy Tony

Staff Sergeant Tony Wojciechowski

MY BOY TONY
ADAPTED FROM RUDYARD KIPLING’S POEM “MY BOY JACK”

Have you news of my boy Tony?
Not this time.
“When d’you think that he’ll come back?”
Not with this Iraq sand blowing, but in God’s time!

“Has anyone else had word of him?”
Not this time.
Not with this Iraq sand blowing, but in God’s time!

“Oh, dear, what comfort can I find?”
None this time,
Nor any human time, but in God’s time!
Except he did not shame his kind
Not with this Iraq sand blowing, nor in God’s time!

Then hold your head up all the more,
This time,
And every time;
Because he was the son you bore and loved,
And he gave to the American people in our time!

Dear Friends,

I just wanted to share this poem with you. Rudyard Kipling’s son, Jack, was declared missing in WWI and was never found. I took the liberty of changing Kipling’s poem for Tony Wojciechowski.

Staff Sergeant Tony Wojciechowski

ATTENTION: ALL MILITARY HANDS AND PATRIOTS TO MILITARY ORDERS

It is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes, that I must report that a member of the U.S. Marine Corps, a fellow soldier, a veteran of the war in Iraq, SSGT Tony Wojciechowski has been ordered to redeploy.

Tony, you are hereby ordered to report to your division commander with your sea bag and orders for lift-off on the next Black Hawk. Tony, you will report to your next duty station and the officer of the day, General Gabriel, without delay.

Tony, you are further ordered to report to five-star General Peter with your military orders and latest efficiency report (EER).

Tony, your mission here on earth is complete and your division commander will present you with your battle ribbons and other awards for your distinguished service. In the addition the Lord has seen fit to award you an eternal crown for combating evil.

Tony, we will miss you because we knew we could depend on you in a life and death combat situation. You were indeed, a true Marine and you never quit! You always brightened up our days with a joke or a funny story.

I thank you and all the Marines I knew in Iraq for helping to protect me during Zarqawi’s attack on the Abu Ghraib prison on 2 April 2005 and during the times I traveled on the dangerous roads in Iraq.

On behalf of all the military members and veterans who serve or served in Iraq or in the Global War of Terrorism, God bless you from all of us, God bless the United States of America and God bless the U.S. Marine Corps.

By the way, Tony, your next duty station heaven is permanent. Do not play golf with Jesus, a Marine friend of mine told me he is better than Tiger Woods!
