In a major relief for besieged Palestinians in Gaza, thousands of residents have been returning to the north of the enclave after the withdrawal of some Israeli forces from the area, Al Jazeera reported. The Israeli military said earlier that it was withdrawing thousands of forces from the Gaza Strip, in the first significant troop pullback since the devastating war began nearly three months ago. Dozens of Israeli soldiers are suspected to have been caught with a skin disease amid the war in Gaza. Turkish news agency Anadolu reported that several Israeli soldiers are undergoing treatment while others have been tested for the Leishmaniasis disease. The report said that Israeli soldiers stationed near the Gaza border are the victims, and the infections didn’t occur in Gaza. The same disease had frustrated the Israeli troops during the 2014 war in Gaza.
