Al, thanks always for your updates on current events. Do you know the actor, Jonathan Roumie, who plays Jesus in The Chosen and Lonnie Frisbee in the Jesus Revolution movie is a bonafide Catholic, knighted by the Knights Templar, which he proudly confesses, has an App called Hallow and is teaching how to pray the Rosary to evangelicals? Do you know that he and Dallas Jenkins, the writer of The Chosen, had an audience with the Pope recently and Jonathan Roumie asked the Pope to bless his rosaries? 

From one watchman to another watchman, please check out how deceitful this actor is as he is drawing many with Dallas Jenkins into ecumenism with all faiths, especially with the Catholic Church as the mother church.

My wife and I just saw the movie “Jesus Revolution” with some friends. It was a terrific movie. Kelsey Grammer should win an Oscar for his performance but he won’t because   Hollywood is satanic.

It was a very small matinee crowd watching the movie and we applauded at the end.  

My wife and I lived during the “Jesus Revolution” and she was saved during the Revolution or Revival if you will. Several of my friends became “Jesus Freaks” and my nephew started a Christian bookstore here in Cincinnati because of it. The Revolution fractured traditional Roman Catholic families in Cincinnati and several of us left Roman Catholicism. Jerry Kirk was instrumental in the movement here in Cincinnati.  

Where have the 50 years gone since the “Jesus Revolution", my youth has vanished.

My wife and I highly recommend seeing the movie. In my opinion, Spencer Smith’s (a film pharisee) analysis of the movie is horrible. Spencer jumps from one topic to another topic and he does not stay focused on the movie itself. He goes into the background of the actors, who cares? Clint Eastwood has been married several times and it doesn’t stop me from watching his movies or the movies he directs. Sean Penn can be an idiot at times but he makes good movies (Mystic River which Clint Eastwood directed).

Spencer highly criticized Lonnie Frisbee but Lonnie brought a lot of people to the saving grace of Jesus Christ (Yeshua), including indirectly my wife, my nephew and my friends.

Below is David Wood’s excellent review of "Jesus Revolution", a new film about the so-called Jesus Movement in California during the late 1960s and 1970s. The film stars Joel Courtney as Greg Laurie, Jonathan Roumie as Christian hippie Lonnie Frisbee, and Kelsey Grammer as Pastor Chuck Smith. Should Christians go see the movie while it's still in theaters, or wait to see it later, or not watch it at all? David Wood just watched the movie with his wife and he shares his thoughts.
