Ukraine’s ‘grenade launcher gift’ explodes in Poland top cop’s
office

Days after a gift from Ukraine
to Poland's top cop exploded and sent him to hospital, many questions remain
unanswered. The Polish commander and a civilian employee were injured when the
explosion took place at the police headquarters in Warsaw. The top policeman
said that the blast in his office was caused by a grenade launcher and that he
had received two of the weapons as a gift from Ukraine. Investigations are
underway in Poland and reports say that Warsaw has demanded an explanation from
Kyiv over the incident.

A Russian diplomat in Central
African Republic (CAR) has been hospitalised after he opened a parcel bomb
addressed to him on Friday. Russia has beefed up security measures near its
embassy and termed the incident an 'assassination attempt'. Following the
incident, Russia's mercenary Wagner Group alleged France's involvement in the
attack but Paris has rejected the allegations as 'Russian propaganda'. Watch
