World's 1st flying electric taxi debuts in Dubai; Car high above any traffic to cut carbon emission

Oct 13, 2022 Dubai saw a glimpse of futuristic technology that could one day whisk people through cities high above any traffic. A Chinese firm has tested out the world's first electric flying taxi 'Xpeng X2' in Dubai. The X2 is now one among the dozens of flying car projects underway around the world. However, only a handful have been successfully tested with passengers on board. Khaleej Times report says, the flying cars in Dubai could be available for commercial use within the next two to three years.
