The War In Ukraine

Col. Doug Macgregor - Ukraine Russia Latest

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are losing 20,000 soldiers a month, that is simply unsustainable militarily.

Hmmm, interesting 20,000 a month equates to 666 troops a day!

When you hear the word Russia in the Western “lame stream” media substitute Ukraine!

RUSSIA PRESENTS EVIDENCE OF U.S. BIO LAB ACTIVITY IN UKRAINE

The Russian ministry of defense presented evidence in Geneva proving that the US has military-biological activity in Ukraine, radiation, chemical, and biological defense of the Russian armed forces chief Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov said Monday.

Kirillov noted that on Russia's initiative, a conference of the Biological Weapons Convention was held in Geneva between September 5-9 in response to the US and Ukrainian violations of Articles I and IV.

"The participants of the meeting received copies of real documents previously mentioned by the Ministry of Defense of Russia, as well as material evidence confirming the implementation of work on military-biological programs in Ukraine, for consideration," the Russian official revealed.

According to the Russian defense official, members of other delegations had no doubts about the authenticity of the submitted documents.

The United States defended last week once again its biosecurity cooperation with Ukraine, claiming that their activities were in support of the Biological Weapons Convention.

Russia sent in late July a formal request for a consultation meeting of the party states to the Biological Weapons Convention after it provided the states with documents proving how the US was funding a network of biological laboratories in Ukraine.

Russia's Ambassador to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, said during a UN Security Council meeting that Moscow would activate Articles 5 and 6 of the Biological Weapons Convention BWC to investigate the Biolabs in Ukraine.

Article 5 of the BWC stipulates that "The states, parties to this Convention, undertake to consult one another and to co-operate in solving any problems which may arise in relation to the objective of, or in the application of the provisions of, the Convention. Consultation and co-operation pursuant to this Article may also be undertaken through appropriate international procedures within the framework of the United Nations and in accordance with its Charter."

Article 6 states that "any state party to this Convention, which finds that any other state party is acting in breach of obligations deriving from the provisions of the Convention, may lodge a complaint with the Security Council of the United Nations. Such a complaint should include all possible evidence confirming its validity, as well as a request for its consideration by the Security Council."

The head of the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing said there are more than 300 US-funded civilian and military biological laboratories in the world, hinting that they are particularly concentrated in Ukraine.

Kirillov recently said the United States was planning on transferring its programs of biological research from Ukraine to post-Soviet republics, as well as Eastern European and Baltic states.

The US had been denying the existence of the Biolabs for months before confirming Russia's accusations, with Under Secretary for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland saying Washington had what she referred to as "biological research facilities" in Ukraine.

Data on biological laboratories found in Ukraine does not help the case of the US against claims regarding its compliance with the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC), Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova had said.

Moscow also exhibited documents confirming the organization of military-biological work by the Pentagon represented by the US Department of Defense Threat Reduction Department

U.N. IAEA POLITICIZING A NUCLEAR POWER PLANT CRISES

Politicizing ZNPP crisis: Russia nuclear chief

UN nuclear watchdog IAEA has faced criticism from the head of the Russian nuclear agency Rosatom over politicizing its narrative on Ukraine and allowing politics to shape its reports on Kiev. The International Atomic Energy Agency's Board of Governors passed on Thursday a resolution demanding Moscow to "immediately cease all actions against, and at, the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant." The accusations from the West come as Russia stresses that Kiev is behind the attacks on the nuclear facility that has been under its control since March.

The IAEA board passed a resolution on Thursday calling on Russia to withdraw its forces from the ZNPP without making any mention of the systematic Ukrainain shelling of the nuclear power plant. Earlier that day, the Russian Permanent Mission to International Organizations in Vienna said: "Western countries voted through the IAEA Board of Governors to drag an anti-Russian resolution on the Ukrainian issue." "They know full well what is happening there and where [attacks] are coming from… They definitely share this information online with [the headquarters in] Vienna and a political component is added at some stage," Rosatom chief Alexey Likhachev said in an interview that aired Sunday.

On September 1, the IAEA sent a 14-person team to the site, including its Director General Rafael Grossi, to assess the situation at the plant. At least two members of the team were to remain there on a permanent basis to ensure the facility's safety. On September 7, the IAEA issued a report in light of the attacks launched by Kiev's forces on the ZNPP, in which it called for the immediate establishment of a protective zone at its premises and vicinities. Russia regretted that the IAEA did not name the source of the shelling at the ZNPP, Russia's Ambassador to the United Nations Vassily Nebenzia said.

Grossi said last Sunday that he was negotiating a safe zone around the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in southern Ukraine. His statement came after Russian President Vladimir Putin warned his French counterpart during a phone call over the potential "catastrophic consequences" of Ukrainian attacks on the ZNPP in a Russian-controlled area of Ukraine. The situation at ZNPP remained "precarious" after the shelling damaged the nuclear site’s vital infrastructure, Grossi said

Soledar Direction Chronicle of Battles, September 18-20, 2022

▪️After the release of Ukrainian formations from Kharkiv Direction, a significant number of troops were redeployed to Luhansk Direction. Kreminna, Rubizhne and Lysychans'k are AFU’s priority targets.

▪️AFU managed to occupy Bilohorivka, being a grey zone for a long time.

▪️Ukrainian forces managed to break through Russian Armed Forces' defence for a short time in Berestove. As a result of the counterattack, AFU were pushed back from the village. The settlement is fully controlled by Allied Forces.

▪️North of Berestove, AFU managed to occupy Spirne. Part of Wagner’sPMC forces had to be redeployed there. Ukrainian formations are trying to push through Allied Forces’ defences.

▪️Heavy fighting continues in Soledar. Allied Forces are storming abandoned residential areas from the side of KNAUF Gips Donbass Factory. At the moment, Russian troops control at least a quarter of the city.

▪️Wagner’s PMC main forces continue to methodically destroy AFU firing points in Bakhmut (Artemivsk). Reports about the control over the champagne factory have not been confirmed. PMC forces are at a crossroads in the eastern part of Patrice Lumumba Street.

Southeast of Bakhmut, Donbasskaya Electric Substation (Pidstantsiya "Donbassʹka”), a powerful AFU stronghold, was mopped up. Now Wagner’s PMC forces operating in this area are developing an offensive in the direction of Vesela Dolyna.

▪️At this stage neither Bakhmut nor Soledar can be swooped in. Allied Forces carry out the task of methodically mopping up the approaches and outskirts. Despite the relatively slow pace of advance, Allied Forces successfully carry out the task of destroying the enemy's reinforcements and cutting off their main communications.

Fighting for Pisky and Donetsk Airport in September 2022

▪️In late August and early September, DPR People’s Militia's 11th Regiment troops after a prolonged fighting stormed AFU positions at the junction of Donetsk Ring Road south of Pisky. It is one of the key Ukrainian defence nodes on the front line between Pisky and Pervomais'ke.

▪️On September 5, AFU units were forced to abandon their strongholds near the western part of Donetsk Airport Runway, the so-called "Anthill", through which Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups were moving.

▪️On September 6, after a month of fighting, DPR People’s Militia's 11th Regiment gained control over Donetsk Seed Station and the bridges on the outskirts of Pisky. Pisky came under Allied Forces’ complete control.

▪️On September 8, after a prolonged fighting, Sparta Battalion, together with Archangel Michael Battalion, took control over the so-called "Big Anthill", a powerful fortification with multilevel passages and concrete shelters. With the capture of "Big Anthill", the entire territory of Donetsk Airport came under Allied Forces’ control.

▪️From September 10 to 13, AFU attempted several unsuccessful counterattacks on the lost positions near the bridge on Donetsk Ring Road and Donetsk Seed Station.

▪️On September 14, AFU attempted a counterattack on their lost strongholds in the western part of Donetsk Airport on Opytne side, but came under heavy fire from DPR People’s Militia Somalia Battalion and were forced to retreat with heavy losses.

▪️Exhausted by heavy losses and demoralized by continuous and accurate Allied Forces’ fire, AFU units stopped their attempts to counterattack DPR People’s Militia positions. Positional fighting is underway in the vicinity of Pisky, near Pervomais'ke and Opytne.

Battle for Kherson Sept 16, 2022

▪️For the first time in several days, AFU launched a major attack in the area near Pravdyne located south of Posad-Pokrovske.

▪️AFU’s armored group of three tanks and six infantry fighting vehicles took part in the offensive. However, Russian Armed Forces' reserves and Russian Aerospace Forces' army aviation prevented AFU from achieving their objective.

▪️In the course of fighting, Russian paratroopers destroyed four enemy infantry fighting vehicles and all three tanks. AFU’s attack failed.

🔻There are no significant changes in other sections of the front. At night, Russian artillery and aviation launched massive strikes on AFU bridgehead near Sukhyi Stavok.

️Due to strikes on hydraulic structures in Kryvyi Rih, the water level in Inhulets’ River, along which part of the front line runs, has significantly increased. Part of the Ukrainian crossings were demolished, significantly complicating the supply of forces in the "gut" near Sukhyi Stavok.

▪️In retaliation for failures in the offensive in the south, AFU is targeting civilian infrastructure. In the morning, several missiles hit the regional administration building in Kherson.

▪️The driver of one of the officials was killed, as well as two bystanders. Thirteen other people were injured to varying degrees of severity.

🔻In the near future, Ukrainian Command will try to use their numerical superiority and will continue to attack Russian Armed Forces’ positions.

▪️Also, AFU will deliberately hit civilian facilities in residential areas in order to intimidate the local population and create a humanitarian disaster in Kherson Region.
