More Ukrainian Troops Quit The Fight Aug. 6, 2022

 

1 battalion of Ukraine soldiers quit the fight in Pesky.  They no longer want to be cannon fodder killed by Russians

Watchman comment: the group of Ukrainian soldiers in the video do not comprise a battalion of troops. They could be the remnants of what's left of their decimated battalion.

1 battalion of Ukrainian soldiers withdrew from Russian cannon fodder in Pesky. Armed Forces of Ukraine’s 56th Brigade refused to return to positions near Pesky, in Donetsk region. The 2nd Battalion Soldiers of the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of AFU filed a complaint from Avdiivka and refused to continue fighting as cannon fodder against Russian forces. They complained about the lack of military support to contain Russian advance in the region. Earlier Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke of a counter-offensive, HIMARS and 1 million troops. Armed Forces of Ukraine are increasingly being destroyed on all fronts including Pesky, one of the most fortified areas of the Ukrainian defense in Donbass.
