Ukrainian Front Highlights for July 8th, 2022

AFU = Armed Forces Ukraine

▪️ AFU again attacked border guard positions in Kursk region. Ukrainian UAVs dropped explosives on a military position in Krupets, Rylsk district. Another UAV attack by Ukrainian formations on Russian territory took place near Novye Yurkovichi in Bryansk region.

 ▪️ Russian Armed Forces attacked enemy positions near Mykhal'chyna Sloboda in Sumy Region.

▪️ In the northern Kharkiv region, AFU continue to occupy Udy - Prudyanka - Rus'ki Tyshky - Verkhnii Saltiv line. 

▪ In Sivers'k direction, the Russian army advances from Spirne. AFU has moved additional units of 10th Mountain Assault Brigade to Mountain Assault Brigade to deter allied forces. 

▪️ In Soledar-Bakhmut direction, the command of AFU Tactical Group Charlie strengthens defence on Pokrovs'ke-Soledar-Yakovlivka-Bilohorivka line. Ukrainian forces are continually shelling Klynove from positions in Zaitseve and Vesela Dolyna, countering the advance of allied forces. 

▪ ️AFU continue shelling towns in Donetsk agglomeration, with civilian casualties. In the morning hours there was a massive strike on a depot near Shakhtars'k. 

▪ ️As a result of artillery attack by Russian Armed Forces on advancing AFU forces near Davydiv Brid, 63rd brigade infantry division suffered heavy losses and retreated. 

▪️ In Nikolaev direction, AFU attempted to launch several attacks in Posad-Pokrovs'ke - Stepova Dolyna directions, but the offensive was halted by the Russian Armed Forces massive artillery fire. AFU's 28th Brigade, 59th Infantry Brigade and several combined companies of Territorial Defence suffered heavy losses.

▪️ AFU launched missile attack on the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant in Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region, some of missiles were shot down by Russian air defence means, the plant is functioning normally.

I watched Russian soldiers stumble across hundreds of Javelin RPG launchers and a huge artillery ammo dump that had been abandoned by fleeing Ukrainian forces, the Russian soldiers were saying thank you American tax payers for the free gift, there was millions of dollars worth unused.

Please put Bilohorivka under RU, all maps have it under RU for a reason. RU has 100% control of the city. There is 0 Ukraine in it they failed their offensive days ago. It was many times reported by many sources,
