Administration Shut Down San Bernardino Investigation

According to a DHS whistleblower, last year the administration deliberately shut down an investigation that would have prevented the San Bernadino, California terror killing by an ISIS-affiliated husband & wife team.
According to former Department of Homeland Security counter-intelligence investigator, Philip Haney, he was hot on the trail of the most radical group in all Islam – one that is said to be responsible for 80% of all terror attacks – when administration officials ordered him to not only shut his investigation down, but permanently erase all files from government computers.
The terror group is called Tablighi Jamaat – or TJ for short. It is a subset of the Deobandi group that originates out of a radical mosque in Pakistan that was connected to the mosque in San Bernadino that one of the killers, Sayed Farook, attended.
Haney was tracking those affiliated with the TJ group because there were no travel restrictions on them. He was also tracking the Pakistani women’s group al-Huda, where Farook’s wife, Tashfeen Malik, was a student.

According to Haney: “We had these two groups in our sights; if the investigation had continued and additional links been identified and dots connected, we might have given advance warning of the terrorist attack in San Bernadino.”
“But after more than six months of research and tracking; over 1,200 law enforcement actions and more than 300 terrorists identified; and a commendation for our efforts; DHS shut down the investigation at the request of the Department of State and DHS’ own Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Division.”
According to Haney, a 13-year veteran of DHS, the department ordered his investigation shut down because it violated the group’s civil liberties.
“They were almost exclusively foreign nationals. When were they granted the civil rights and liberties of American citizens?”
In 2013, Haney met with the DHS Inspector General in coordination with members of Congress to warn of the dangerous implications of not just dropping his investigation, but the erasing all his hard-won data on the group.
According to Haney:
“In retaliation, DHS and the Dept. of Justice subjected me to a series of investigations … including one by the same Inspector General.” “None of them showed any wrongdoing.”
Haney was finally able to retire earlier this year, and started preparing his story for the public.
“What I witnessed suggests the Obama administration is more concerned with the rights of non-citizens in known Islamist groups than with the safety and security of the American people.” Watch the video below.
