My friend, Gwen, wrote the following prayer: Lord, please cause more Christians to pray that abortion will end in our country. Lord, we are sorry that we murdered 60 million babies. Yeshua please cause Christians to be bold in proclaiming this as wrong and proclaiming Christ's forgiveness for those who are suffering with guilt and shame.  Please bring healing to the 1 out of 3 Christians who have been involved somehow in this silent holocaust.  We ask that we are able to all seek You as to what You would have us do concerning this issue.  Please open doors for Your people to be a light and to share Your truth how this is wrong, but how You extend Your grace and forgiveness to anyone who is willing to receive this gift.  Please forgive our nation for allowing abortion to continue.  Please forgive our leaders who condone this evil.  Please raise up the necessary prayers  so that millions of people turn to You before You come to take. the believers home.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

Are you ready to witness an asteroid flyby? Although there’s no danger of impact, this one is huge; twice as big as a cruise ship! The asteroid, called 2004 BL86 by astronomers, will sweep safely past Earth on January 26, 2015. It will be the closest of any known space rock this large until asteroid 1999 AN10 flies past Earth in 2027, and it’ll be the closest this particular asteroid will come to Earth for at least the next 200 years. This asteroid is estimated from its reflected brightness to be about 500 meters in diameter (about a third of a mile, or 0.5 km). At the time of its closest approach – January 26, 2015 at 16:20 UTC, or 11:20 a.m. EST – the asteroid will be approximately 745,000 miles (1.2 million kilometers) from Earth, or about three times the moon’s distance. It’ll be observable by amateur astronomers with small telescopes and strong binoculars!

Even at its peak brightness, the asteroid will not be bright enough to view with t he unaided eye. Watch its approach in the graphic below.
