End Times News and Gospel Message

Who was Theodor Herzl?

Herzl was the father of modern political Zionism and in effect the philosophic founder of the state of Israel. He was born Benjamin Ze’ev Herzl and was an Austro-Hungarian journalist. He lived from 2 May 1860 to 3 July 1904.

Herzl made some strange anti-Semitic comments. One of his quoted comments from his diary (part 1, page 16) follows: “It is essential that the sufferings of the Jews…..become worse….this will assist in the realization of our plans…..I have an excellent idea….I shall induce the anti-Semites to liquidate Jewish wealth. The anti-Semites will assist us thereby in that they will strengthen the persecution and opposition of the Jews. The anti-Semites shall be our best friends.”

A card from the Illuminati card game
A small organic farm in Arlington, Texas, was the target of a massive police action last week that included aerial surveillance, a SWAT raid and a 10-hour search. Members of the local police raiding party had a search warrant for marijuana plants, which they failed to find at the Garden of Eden farm. But farm owners and residents who live on the property said that the real reason for the law enforcement exercise appears to have been code enforcement. The police seized '17 blackberry bushes, 15 okra plants, 14 tomatillo plants ... native grasses and sunflowers', after holding residents inside at gunpoint for at least a half-hour, property owner Shellie Smith said in a statement. The raid lasted about 10 hours, she said.
Police didn't produce a warrant until two hours after the raid began, and officers shielded their name tags so they couldn't be identified. Resident Quinn Eaker was the only person arrested -- for outstanding traffic violations.
Texas police did not find any marijuana plants, which was the only complaint listed for the search warrant.
Police seized numerous bushes, plants, grasses and sunflower seeds, none of which are illegal or a threat to national security.
But, residents were held at gunpoint for at least 30 minutes and then had to endure 10 hours of a fruitless search.
The police department felt it necessary to send militarized police SWAT units to this simple organic farm!
America is being systematically turned into a police state and stories like these three are gradually conditioning undiscerning Americans into accepting these dictatorial methods.
There is one other factor at work here. The apparatus of the American government and of the Genetically Modified Foods Industry are being turned upon people who want to grow, sell and consume natural foods.
In the last several years, we have seen government pressure on organic retailers, growers, raw milk producers, and so forth. We live in a time when government, and its ally, big business, are aggressively attempting to impose their own reality upon am increasingly resistant people.

Friends, we need Bob McDonnell in the White House. If I am not mistaken, I believe he is a Christian. He certainly is a good steward of the people's money.

On Tuesday in the Governor's Annual Address to Virginia's Joint Money Committees, Bob McDonnell announced a $585 Million budget surplus for this fiscal year, the fourth surplus in four years for the McDonnell Administration.  This made the cumulative surplus total for Virginia under Governor McDonnell's leadership at a staggering $2 Billion -- the highest four year stimulus total in the Commonwealth's history!

This concludes a remarkable turnaround for Virginia, as Bob McDonnell was facing a $6 Billion budget shortfall when he took office.  Instead, Virginia finds itself on its strongest fiscal footing in decades.

This remarkable turnaround was not an accident, but rather the result of Governor McDonnell working with members of both political parties to solve Virginia's fiscal challenges.  In his address, the Governor also noted that general fund spending in Virginia has increased only 0.3% over the last six years, far below the rate of population growth and inflation.

While our nation's capitol is plagued by a never-ending federal debt crisis, Governor McDonnell is again demonstrating the leadership, vision and commitment needed to solve Virginia's most pressing problems.

Friends, as I have said several times the Isaiah 17 concerning Damascus and the Isaiah 19 prophecy concerning Egypt are playing out right before our eyes.

The twists and turns of events in Egypt this week are starting to make a Russian novel look like kiddie stuff.
First, there are reports that due to the violence some Coptic churches in Egypt canceled their Sunday masses for the first time in more than a millenium-and-a-half. Wrap your head around that idea.
We did not hold prayers in the monastery on Sunday for the first time in 1,600 years,” Priest Selwanes Lotfy of the Virgin Mary and Priest Ibram Monastery in Degla, just south of Minya, told the al-Masry al-Youm daily.
Also compromised (or further compromised), the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood, whose members have been detained, arrested, or slaughtered by the hundreds in the past week. Earlier this morning, the Muslim Brotherhood’s spiritual leader Mohammed Badie was captured by the Egyptian army. He is expected to go on trial later this month.
Meanwhile, the Muslim Brotherhood is throwing everything they can at the Egyptian military. Fallout continues following an attack that killed dozens of Egyptian policemen in Sinai near the Gaza border yesterday. On a more ridiculous note, a video, translated by MEMRI and now making the rounds, features a former Muslim Brotherhood official accusing Egyptian General Al-Sisi of being a Jew. What would a Jew in Sisi’s boots do? Try to implement the Protocols of the Elders of Zion in Egypt, of course.
Cairo at night has become a city of silence. Once among the world’s most crowded and raucous nocturnal metropolises, it is now home to ghosts, a place haunted by fear and despair. Never ones to abide by past military-imposed curfews, Egyptians stay indoors after sunset. The night is owned by helicopters roaming the skies, fat army tanks sitting heavily in the streets and bands of men wielding knives, clubs and guns at makeshift checkpoints .... Most of the killing is done during the day. Over 1,000 dead in three days of carnage. As a reporter covering conflicts over the years, I have seen many dead bodies—but never have I seen so many people dying before my eyes."
God's prophecy said that HE would set Egyptian against Egyptian. This next segment reveals that this scenario is playing out to a deadly, bloody conclusion.
"As Egypt plunges headfirst into a deadly downward spiral with no end in sight, many of its citizens are baying for still more blood ... In meting out violence, the military and security apparatus has an overwhelming advantage, and its forces have done so with unflinching brutality ... August 14 marked the bloodiest day in Egypt’s modern history, with more than 800 dead. Cairo was inundated with corpses. In the al-Iman mosque the day after the raids, more than 230 bodies lay on the floor. The smell of death hung heavy in the summer heat ... The military-backed cabinet, the security establishment and the allied so-called 'liberal' elite have vilified an entire swathe of society as violent extremists unfit for political life."
The Muslim Brotherhood has also killed innocent civilians.
"Morsi’s supporters have engaged in violence of their own, killing civilians and security officials, attacking government institutions and sparking a low-level insurgency in Sinai. The security establishment appears to welcome the escalation, intentionally provoking the Islamists to adopt even more hardline tactics and commit more violence...."
God's wording again seems to read like these current news stories:
"And the spirit of the Egyptians within them will become exhausted and emptied out and will fail..." (Isaiah 19:3)
"Each day brings new horrors, nightmarish scenes Egyptians could never have imagined. Nuns paraded on the streets like “prisoners of war.” Urban warfare with hovering choppers kicking up dust. Citizens opening fire on one another. People jumping off bridges to avoid bullets, falling and crumpling to the floor motionless. The scale of human loss is staggering—and with both sides vowing to escalate, worse days surely lie ahead."
Interestingly, God worded His judgment in a very curious manner.
"And I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a hard and cruel master, and a fierce king will rule over them ..." (Isaiah 19:4)
This hard and cruel master and fierce king will either be the military generals now ruling Egypt with an iron fist, or it may predict that the Muslim Brotherhood will be victorious over the Army. We can only wait to see how these events turn out, but one fact is clear: Egypt is beginning to pass through her valley of death.

Friends, it doesn’t pay to forget about God. Solzhenitsyn once said all the problems with atheistic communism in Russia can be blamed on the fact that the Russian people completely forgot about God.

Below is a great link about chemtrails. congressman Kucinich admitted chemtrails are being sprayed. Congressman Steve Chabot in Cincinnati also admitted chemtrails are being sprayed. The question is why are the American people allowing themselves and their land to be poisoned.

Dead animals from chemical attack
As the story below reflects supporters of the Illuminati in Europe and politicians like John McCain, Lindsey Graham and others are eager to get the U.S. bogged in another futile war in the Middle East that would waste more U.S. blood and treasure.
Remember who these "Syrian anti-government rebels" are: they were created by Western Intelligence whose only goal is to spread disinformation about Syria being targeted by "The Pentagon's New Map Strategy" and the 10 kingdoms of the Club Rome. All during 2002 and into the early part of 2003, Iraqi "dissidents" regularly issued false warnings about Saddam Hussein's WMD capabilities. As we learned later, these "activists" were simply pouring out propaganda which made it easier for George W. Bush to justify an invasion to the American people.
"The chemical attack in Syria coincided with the visit by a 20-member U.N. chemical weapons team to Syria to investigate three sites where chemical weapons attacks allegedly occurred during the past year. Their presence raises questions about why Assad’s regime - which called the claims of the attack Wednesday 'absolutely baseless' - would use chemical agents at the absolute worst time?"I would say this chemical attack was deliberately planned by al Qaeda to point blame at Assad.
Senior officials from the Pentagon, the State Department and the intelligence agencies met for three and a half hours at the White House on Thursday to deliberate over options, which officials say could range from a cruise missile strike to a more sustained air campaign against Syria.
The meeting broke up without any decision, according to senior officials, amid signs of a deepening division between those who advocate sending Mr. Assad a harsh message and those who argue that military action now would be reckless and ill timed.
Similar debates played out across the Atlantic. France backed the use of force to counter such an attack, and Turkey and Israel expressed outrage. But diplomats in several countries conceded there was no stomach among the Western allies, including the United States, for long-term involvement in a messy, sectarian civil war.
While the Obama administration said it would wait for the findings of a United Nations investigation of the attack, American officials spoke in strikingly tougher terms about what might happen if President Obama were to determine that chemical weapons were used.
“If these reports are true, it would be an outrageous and flagrant use of chemical weapons by the regime,” the State Department spokeswoman, Jen Psaki, said. “The president, of course, has a range of options that we’ve talked about before that he can certainly consider.”
The United States first confirmed that the Syrian government had used chemical weapons early this year, and Obama administration officials responded by signaling they would supply the rebels with weapons. But to date, none have arrived. (Watchman comment: did you catch that, the U.S. is supplying al Qaeda rebels with chemical weapons. If you think like I do you know al Qaeda will use the chemical weapons. I do not think we should supply chemical weapons to anyone. What the hell are we thinking giving chemical weapons to al Qaeda?)
Among American officials, there was a growing belief that chemical weapons had been used in the latest attack, early Wednesday east of Damascus — potentially the worst of its kind since Saddam Hussein used chemical weapons against the Kurds in Iraq in the 1980s — and little doubt that anyone but Mr. Assad’s forces would have used them.
It was nearly impossible the last time to prove that the Syrian government used chemical weapons. (Personally, I believe the al Qaeda is using them.) Administration officials offered no timetable for how long it might take this time, raising questions about how promptly the United States could act.
Israel said its intelligence strongly suggested a chemical weapons attack, while the Syrian opposition pointed to evidence, including the use of four rockets and the locations from which they were fired, which members of the opposition said proved that the attack could have been carried out only by the government’s forces.
An opposition official described an assault that began shortly after 2 a.m., when the rockets, which they said were equipped with chemical weapons, were launched. Two were fired from a bridge on the highway from Damascus to Homs; the others were launched from a Sironex factory in the Qabun neighborhood of the Syrian capital. The Assad government has denied involvement, and Russians have accused the rebels of staging the attack.
The rebels said the government’s presumed goal was to soften up the opposition before a major conventional attack with tanks, armored personnel carriers and attack planes. On Thursday, fighting persisted in the area, raising doubts about the ability of the United Nations to send investigators to collect samples from the wounded and dead.
Among the options discussed at the White House, officials said, was a cruise missile strike, which would probably involve Tomahawks launched from a ship in the Mediterranean Sea, where the United States has two destroyers deployed.
The Pentagon also has combat aircraft — fighters and bombers — deployed in the Middle East and in Europe that could be used in an air campaign against Syria. The warplanes could be sent aloft with munitions to be launched from far outside Syrian territory, which is protected by a respectable air defense system.
The targets could include missile or artillery batteries that launch chemical munitions or nerve gas, as well as communications and support facilities. Symbols of the Assad government’s power — headquarters and government offices — also could be among the proposed targets, officials said.
As leaders digested the harrowing images from Syria of victims gasping for breath or trembling, there was a flurry of phone calls among diplomats expressing horror at the calamitous situation in Syria and frustration at the lack of an obvious response.
“They are all bad choices,” said a European diplomat who asked not to be named because of the delicacy of the situation.
Secretary of State John Kerry spoke to Ahmad al-Jarba, the president of the Syrian opposition. Mr. Kerry expressed his condolences and the Obama administration’s “commitment to looking into what has happened on the ground,” Ms. Psaki said.
Mr. Kerry also spoke to Laurent Fabius, the foreign minister of France, who raised the prospect of military action. He called Turkey’s foreign minister, Ahmet Davutoglu; several Arab foreign ministers; the European Union’s senior foreign policy official, Catherine Ashton; and the secretary general of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon.
At home, however, officials said the administration remained divided about how to proceed. “There’s a split between those who feel we need to act now and those who feel that now is a very bad time to act,” said one senior official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the administration’s internal deliberations.
The official did not give details about who pushed for a hawkish response to the attack and who urged caution, but he said that some at the White House meeting raised worries that it would take time to build international support for a military response, and that any strikes against Mr. Assad’s government might worsen a refugee crisis that has already placed great strain on Syria’s neighbors.
Neither the United States nor European countries yet have a “smoking gun” to prove that Mr. Assad’s troops used chemical weapons in the attack, the official said. But he said intelligence agencies had amassed circumstantial evidence that some kind of chemical had been used — not the least of which was the hundreds of casualties.
“The sheer number of bodies is one pretty good indicator,” he said.
Two officials with the Syrian opposition said that none of the weapons American officials said would be provided by the Central Intelligence Agency had yet been delivered. (If you believe that, I have a bridge I will sell you.)
Mohammad Salaheddine, a Syrian reporter for Al Aan Television, an Arab satellite television station, painted a bleak picture of the situation in East Ghouta, the area near Damascus that was the site of the reported chemical attack.
Mr. Salaheddine was reached by Skype on Thursday with the help of the Syrian Support Group, an American-based organization that supports the opposition to Mr. Assad.
He asserted that more than 1,500 people had been killed by the chemical attack and that many more had been wounded. The area, he said, was cut off by the fighting, making it hard for opposition members to smuggle hair, urine and blood samples out for analysis.
Senior military officials, in particular Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, have cited the risks and costs of large-scale military intervention, as has been urged by some members of Congress.
Yet the greater political risk now might be to Mr. Obama’s credibility, analysts said, given that he laid down a red line last summer to prevent Mr. Assad from using chemical weapons again.

“Assuming that there was a large-scale chemical attack, it indicates that the regime has not been deterred by the statements coming out of Washington,” said Jeffrey White, a former Middle East analyst with the Defense Intelligence Agency who is now a fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

The TurkishAnadolu news agency reported that an area collapsed near the western wall of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem late Tuesday. An eyewitness told the agency that the collapse occurred near the Bab as Silsila, on the western part of the mosque.
It is the second collapse near the western wall within five years, Cum'a Usayle, an eyewitness said.
The witness said,  "The collapse has caused a deep hole there. It is dangerous for the Al-Aqsa Mosque. It poses danger especially for children and women.
The report claimed that no security precautions around the area have been taken by Israeli officials so far, nor has there been a statement about the incident.
The Al-Aqsa Foundation and Cultural Heritage Organization accused Israel of paving the way for demolishing the Al-Aqsa Mosque by quote “building new settlements and digging dozens of tunnels.”
Arabs continuously accuse Israel of "Judaizing" the Temple Mount, sometimes resorting to ridiculous propaganda such as accusing Israel of using chemicals to erode the foundations of the mosque in order to cause it to collapse.
At the same time the Waqf, which was left in charge of the Temple Mount after Israel liberated it during the 1967 Six Day War, consistently destroys Jewish antiquities on the compound in a direct violation of a ruling by the Israeli Supreme Court.
The Waqf has removed every sign of ancient Jewish presence at the site. At the entrance to the Temple Mount, a Waqf sign says, “The Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyard and everything in it is Islamic property.”
Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas several months ago accused Israel of trying to “destroy” the Al-Aqsa Mosque by allowing Jews to pray on the Temple Mount.
Speaking to a Saudi-based newspaper, Abbas said that "the Al-Aqsa Mosque is in danger," claiming that Israel prevents PA Arabs from praying at the mosque, while allowing “extremist Jews" to worship there. This, he claimed, is proof that Israel has a "malicious" and dangerous plan to destroy the mosque and rebuild the “false” Holy Temple in its place, as he put it.
Most recently, Jordanian King Abdullah II added fuel to the ongoing debate over Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, when he told visiting Muslim and Christian dignitaries from Jerusalem that he will continue his efforts to “safeguard” Islamic and Christian sites in the holy city of Jerusalem from what so-called "Judaization."
Orbit of Comet Ison
When Comet ISON flies by Mars, it’ll have just crossed the “frost line,” a place outside Mars’ orbit where solar heating is enough to start vaporizing ices on ISON’s surface.
Around the world, astronomers are buzzing with anticipation over the approach of Comet ISON. On Thanksgiving Day 2013, the icy visitor from the outer solar system will skim the sun’s outer atmosphere. Word was that, if it survives its pass near the sun, Comet ISON might emerge as one of the brightest comets in years. Although the prospects for an extremely bright comet are not as good now as they appeared at ISON’s discovery in late 2012, still, astronomers and many others are anticipating this comet.
But, before most of us on Earth see it, Comet ISON will sweep close to Mars.
“Comet ISON is paying a visit to the Red Planet,” says astronomer Carey Lisse of the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab. “On Oct 1st, the comet will pass within 0.07 AU from Mars, about six times closer than it will ever come to Earth.”
Mars rovers and satellites will get a close-up view. It’s too early to say whether Curiosity will be able to see the comet from the surface of Mars—that depends on how much ISON brightens between now and then. Lisse says the best bet is NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. The MRO satellite is equipped with a powerful half-meter telescope named HiRISE that is more than capable of detecting the comet’s atmosphere and tail. Observations are planned on four dates: August 20th, Sept 29th, and Oct 1st and 2nd.
HiRISE wasn’t sent to Mars to do astronomy, notes the telescope’s principal investigator Alfred McEwen of the University of Arizona. “The camera is designed for rapid imaging of Mars. Our maximum exposure time is limited compared to detectors on other space telescopes. This is a major limitation for imaging comets. Nevertheless, I think we will detect Comet ISON.”
The Mars flyby comes at a key time in Comet ISON’s journey. It will have just crossed the “frost line,” a place just outside the orbit of Mars where solar heating is enough to start vaporizing frozen water.
“The volatiles in a comet are 80% to 90% water ice,” notes Lisse. “Right now in August almost all the water is still frozen, and the outgassing we see in ISON is driven by carbon dioxide and other lesser constituents. Probably only isolated patches of the comet’s nucleus are active.”
But when ISON crosses the frost line, “the whole comet could erupt in geysers of gas,” says Lisse. “Mars orbiters will have a ringside seat.”
The amount of outgassing at Mars will give researchers clues to the size of ISON’s nucleus, which is hidden from view deep within the comet’s dusty atmosphere.
“If ISON’s nucleus is much bigger than 0.5 km, it will probably survive its Thanksgiving Day brush with the sun,” says Lisse. “It could turn into one of the most spectacular comets in many years.”
McEwen sees this as a tune-up for another comet encounter next year. “The science value of observing Comet ISON is hard to predict. We’ve never tried such a thing before. However, this is good practice for Comet Siding Spring, which will pass much closer to Mars in 2014.”

For now all eyes are on Comet ISON. An unprecedented number of NASA spacecraft – 16 – will be observing the comet. Astronauts on board the International Space Station will be watching, too.
Meanwhile back on Earth, Lisse is working with NASA to organize a worldwide observing campaign for Comet ISON. “Our goal is to have every telescope on Earth pointed at the comet when it emerges from the sun,” says Lisse. “The Mars flyby will give us a sneak preview, providing data we need to predict what we might see.”

Precipitation in the Southeast from January 2013 through July 2013. 2013 is the second wettest year so far for this region. Image Credit: NCDC
Friends, as you know, a cornerstone of the Watchman’s belief is that our anti-Israel policies and statements adversely effect the U.S. and other parts of the world. Negotiations are currently going on between the Israelis and the Palestinians in Washington and I believe this is effecting our weather.
A very persistent weather pattern across the United States this summer has kept the Southeast unusually wet and cool. Meanwhile, the western U.S. is experiencing dry, hot conditions with over 51 raging wildfires. A constant trough of low pressure has been across the eastern U.S. for several months providing the U.S. Southeast plenty of rain and unseasonably cool temperatures for the heart of the summer. Weather systems have been able to push unusually farther south this summer than what we typically expect. As soon as these systems push into the Southeast, they have literally stalled and provided a constant source of moisture, producing unusually high amounts of precipitation totals. This post will show you how unusual the weather has been across the U.S. Southeast and discuss whether potential records may be broken, as rainfall continues across the region.

Across Georgia, rainfall totals are adding up to totals typically seen across an entire average year. Atlanta, Georgia averages 49.68 inches per year based on climatology records from 1981-2010. As of August 19, 2013, Atlanta has already recorded 50.43 inches of rain, and we still have over four months left until the year ends.
In July 2013, many cities across the Southeast recorded their wettest July on record. These cities include Gainesville, Florida at 16.65 inches, Asheville, North Carolina at 13.69 inches, Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina at 14.45 inches, and Roanoke, Virginia at 12.73 inches. If many cities across the U.S. Southeast go on to see average rainfall from September through December this year, their overall rainfall totals for the year could easily add up to create a top 10 wettest year since record-keeping began. 2013 is already ranked as the second-wettest year so far across the Southeast. If the region continues to see more rain for the rest of the year, it could make 2013 the wettest year on record. From January through July, the Southeast has recorded 39.99 inches of rain (1,015.75 mm). The average rainfall for the first seven months of the year is typically 30.60 inches (777.24 mm), which means the Southeast is 9.39 inches (238.51 mm) above average. The wettest year to have occurred in the U.S. Southeast, currently, is 2003.
Due to the constant rains, by the way, the majority of the major Southeast cities have not had to issue air quality alerts this summer. The lack of those alerts is a rarity at this time of year.
The stormy and rainy weather has also kept the temperatures well below average across the Southeast. Many locations in Alabama and Georgia barely went above 90 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the summer. Most of the temperatures have been averaging about five to 10 degrees below average.
Over this past week, temperatures were nearly 20 to 25 degrees below average across parts of north and central Alabama, north and central Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina thanks to a shallow layer of cold air spilling down on the eastern side of the Appalachian Mountains. Cities such as Atlanta and Athens, Georgia broke their lowest maximum temperatures as highs stuck around in the mid to upper 60s. On August 17, Atlanta had a high of only 66 degrees Fahrenheit, which was a record daily low maximum temperature that broke the old record of 74°F set back in 1892 and 1939. The average high temperature for this time of the year is 90°F. Whenever you beat an old record by more than five degrees, it simply shows you how unusual and bizarre the weather can be.
While it has been wet, we have also seen an unusual occurrence of tornadoes across the U.S. Southeast that are not associated with tropical cyclones. Typically, tornadoes rarely happen during the summer months as the majority of the energy in the atmosphere stays north, across the northern United States and into Canada. With ridging and heat across the states, there is typically very little steering or wind shear associated with storms in the Southeast, and tornadoes typically never form.
However, in 2013, we have seen tornadoes develop inland. Back on June 13, a strong cold front pushed through the Southeast and produced widespread wind damage and even a couple of tornadoes across North Georgia. The most recent storm to produce a tornado in the month of August was an EF-1 tornado that struck Heard County along the Alabama and Georgia border on August 18, 2013. It was an actual supercell not associated with a tropical cyclone. It formed along a stationary front sitting across central Georgia that was lifting northward. North of the front, a wedge of shallow, cool air was entrenched across northeastern Georgia. With these two lifting mechanisms, there was just enough shear to produce supercells and even a tornado on that day.
One of the biggest concerns across the southeastern United States is the threat for tropical cyclones hitting the region. A tropical system impacting the Southeast is the last thing the region needs. Such a system would likely create widespread flooding across the region, as more rain falls on the already-soaked ground. That scenario could easily develop into a billion-dollar disaster, depending on the track and movement of the cyclone.
As we enter the peak of the hurricane season, the Southeast coast becomes very vulnerable to future hits.

Bottom line: 2013 is already ranked as the second-wettest period for the U.S. Southeast since record-keeping began. With additional months to go before the year ends, 2013 could easily become the wettest period ever record in the region. Many cities have already received their average yearly rainfall totals. As we enter the peak of hurricane season, a major concern is the potential for a tropical cyclone hitting the region and dumping more heavy rain. If this occurs, we could see major flooding problems in the U.S. Southeast. Let’s pray the rest of the 2013 Atlantic hurricane season remains quiet.

Friends, the following story pinpoints the decline of the United States into socialist slavery.

In a surprise ruling, a three judge panel of the Ninth Circus Court of Appeals issued a unanimous opinion supporting the right of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients to unionize in order to assure equitable access to benefits, along with an uninterrupted flow of payments should the federal government be forced to temporarily shut down due to congressional budget stalemates.
“For too long so-called Food Stamp beneficiaries have been denied access to union representation seeking to protect their rights,” said Justice Gavin Moore Freestuff. In a sharply worded rebuke to attorneys representing the National Taxpayers Union, which sought to block a ruling by the newly reconstituted National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), Justice Freestuff cited recent court precedents establishing the right of home health care workers, nannies, babysitters, and dog walkers to pay compulsory dues which unions could then use to influence elections.
Under the new rules, if a majority of SNAP recipients in any congressional district signs ballot cards accepting the representation of a federally recognized labor union, all SNAP beneficiaries in that district would have 30 days to voluntarily enroll or lose benefits. Monthly union dues would then be automatically deducted from recipients’ Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards, minus a small fee for the card processor.
Eyeing 47 million potential new members, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) immediately launched an organizing drive, claiming that since Food Stamp recipients were on the government payroll and contributed just as much to the economy as other government employees, their organization would offer the most appropriate representation.
AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka begged to differ. “Were it not for decades of untiring efforts by our brothers and sisters to drive domestic manufacturers out of the country-or if necessary out of business-there is no way we would have so many Food Stamp recipients today. It is only right that we be allowed to recruit these critical providers of aggregate demand to replenish our dwindling membership.”
EBT card processor JPMorgan Chase said it could begin deducting union dues as early as October 1, provided unions selected by cardholders cover a modest fee for software to enable funds to be deposited directly into designated politicians’ campaign accounts. JPMorgan Chase stock rose four dollars on the news.
If even half of the nation’s SNAP recipients elect to join a union, the $100 per month dues would total approximately half a billion dollars a year. Thanks to the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling, that money will mostly likely be spent assuring fair and balanced elections, thereby ending gridlock in Washington. The subsequent increase in SNAP benefits that would occur once those goals are achieved would easily cover the monthly deductions.
“What’s not to like?” said Detroit resident and long time Food Stamp recipient Maureen Maya Pockets, who lost her job when the tool and die company she worked for moved to South Carolina after suffering a protracted strike. “I only make $4 an hour now, under the table with no benefits, working as a hired construction site picketer for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. Without those EBT payments I couldn’t do my part.”
The Reverend Al Sharpton declared a national day of thanksgiving, organizing candlelight vigils to thank the Court, as well as newly appointed member of the NLRB who made this historic civil rights achievement possible. In related news, Grover Norquist’s doctors at the Bethesda Naval Hospital report he is out of danger and recovering nicely after the heart attack he suffered upon learning of the ruling.
President Obama, stopping to speak to his media entourage from the 16th hole at the exclusive Farm Neck Golf Club on Martha’s Vineyard, chose to reflect on the long march toward income equality that this ruling represents. “I promised to spread the wealth around when I ran for president in 2008, and again in 2012 when you reelected me to stay the course. I intend to keep that promise despite the protracted economic turmoil caused by fringe elements of the Republican Party who refuse to take a balanced approach to fiscal policy, not to mention those millionaires and billionaires who will not pay their fair share.”

The president then called for a nine-iron, “to finish the job I started.”
