Anti-Israel Statements and Policies Linked To Disasters Part 2

Friends, the renewal of peace talks in the Middle East does not bode well for the United States. Each time we engage in deals that give away Israel’s land something bad happens in America. Now, I do not know what the event will be, it could be an earthquake, foul weather, a hurricane a flurry of tornadoes or a terrorist attack but something really bad will occur.  Again, we will find that the Roadmap to Peace is our Pothole to Peace. This week we continue our discussion of the U.S. disasters  linked to our anti-Israel statements and policies and also we will include in our discussion our leaders statements that defied God. Let’s begin with the number 9. The Curse in chapter 9 of Isaiah and how our leaders responded to God. 10  The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars. 11  Therefore the LORD shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his enemies together; 12  The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still. 13  For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts. 14  Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day. 15  The ancient and honorable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail. 16  For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. The day after 9/11 Senate Majority Leader, Tom Daschle in his Floor Statement on a Joint Resolution of Condemnation of the September 11, 2001 attacks stated the following, “But there is a passage in the Bible from Isaiah that I think speaks to all of us at times such as this: The bricks have fallen down, but we will rebuild with dressed stone; the fig trees have been felled, but we will replace them with cedars. That is what we will do. We will rebuild and we will recover. The people of America will stand strong together because the people of America have always stood together. And those of us privileged to serve this great Nation will stand with you.” What Daschle said was not a call to humble ourselves before the Lord and seek God’s help and mercy. Instead, it was a spirit of defiance and proud uttering that "we will rebuild", cursing us. New York City Mayor, Rudolph Giuliani said on the day of the crisis: "We will rebuild: We're going to come out of this stronger than before, politically stronger, economically stronger. The skyline will be made whole again." .   Senator John Kerry stated in speech on the Senate Floor on September 12, 2001 "I believe one of the first things we should commit to - with federal help that underscores our nation's purpose - is to rebuild the towers of the World Trade Center and show the world we are not afraid - we are defiant." New York State Governor, George E. Pataki said the following in his speech dedicating the building of the "Freedom Tower" on the 4th of July 2004: "Today we build the Freedom Tower. ... Let this great Freedom Tower show the world that what our enemies sought to destroy, our democracy, our freedom, our way of life -- stands taller than ever." The Bricks Are Fallen Down, But We Will Build With Hewn Stones. When one looked at the destruction caused by the events on 9-11, all one could see was a pile of rubble. Richard Pyle, an Associated Press journalist wrote an article titled "Changes continue at World Trade Center site as visitors get more of a glimpse into wreckage" and stated, “For three months, the 16-acre site had the look of post-World War II Berlin with its buildings skeletonized and reduced to piles of bricks.” The bricks have in fact fallen down for this nation. But instead of calling upon His name, seeking His face, we have risen up with a fist shaking at heaven shouting that "We Will Rebuild"! This spirit of defiance told God that we did not need His help. We said we would come back bigger, stronger and more powerful than before. This was a solemn act of defiance by our leaders and they spoke on behalf of the American people. "We Will Build With Hewn Stones" is the second part of the curse. But what is "hewn stone"? Simply said, hewn stone is stone that is quarried, or cut from the mountain. On September 11, 2004, then Democratic Candidate for Vice President John Edwards spoke the Isaiah curse upon America while at the prayer breakfast for the Congressional Black Caucus Here is what he said,"Good morning. Today, on this day of remembrance and mourning, we have the Lord’s word to get us through. 'The bricks have fallen, but we will build with dressed stones; the sycamores have been cut down, but we will put cedars in their place.' ... And let me show you how we are building and putting cedars in those three hallowed places - the footprints of the Towers, the Pentagon, and the field in Pennsylvania. ... Walk with me through this day. And you will see that while those bricks fell and the sycamores cut down, our people are making those cedars rise. ... Each time that bell tolls, it calls us to a greater purpose. It calls us to never forget. It calls us to do the Lord’s work here on earth. And it calls on us to always remember that when we walk through this day together - the cedars will rise, the stones will go up, and this season of hope will endure.   We will do this, we will do that, we will raise the cedars, we will rebuild. The stones will go up we will put cedars in their place. unquote” Donald Trump said he wanted to see the WTCs stronger and taller than before. The stones did in fact go up. The first stone used in the construction of the Freedom Tower was the hewn stone from New York granite which was lowered by crane in a ceremony on July 4, 2004. Governor George Pataki said this at the ceremony: "Today is indeed, a momentous day. Today we take 20 tons of Adirondack granite -- the bedrock of our state -- and place it as the foundation, the bedrock of a new symbol of American strength and confidence. Today, we lay the cornerstone for a new symbol of this city and this country and of our resolve in the face of terror. Today we build the Freedom Tower." What did they lay? None other than a hewn granite stone cut from the mountains of New York's Adirondack mountain range, cut, polished just as Israel did in defiance when they rebuilt after being attacked by Assyria. As many of you know, the first stone laid when building a new building is always the most important. It is that stone that all the others are set upon. It is the foundation, and the buildings strength that stone is also called "the cornerstone." In Hebrew this is also called the "Gazit" stone which means "hewn stone." When a new building is erected it is the laying down of the cornerstone that begins the whole process of building the structure. The laying of the cornerstone is a symbolic act. There is always a ceremony in laying the cornerstone. Like ancient Israel, the United States has fulfilled the Isaiah curse. The hewn stone was quarried from the "bedrock" in New York.  The stone was a massive 20 ton block, and was airlifted to the site. They then laid it in the very place where "the bricks have fallen"… Ground Zero. The mayor of New York City, the governor of New York State, the governor of New Jersey, officials tasked with the rebuilding, as well as corporate leaders, special VIP guests and the spectators gathered for the occasion. On July 4, 2004 all these leaders and people were focused on a single object—the cornerstone, or Gazit Stone. The massive 20 ton rectangular block of cut granite rock, that was laid on ground ordained by God so that the chapel of St Paul was built. Washington, our senate, congress, our  forefathers, dedicated our nation to Jehovah God in New York city, that ground today known as Ground Zero. The hewn stone was named "the freedom stone" and represents the stone of defiance, our defiance in the face of God. Consider what God directs us to do in Exodus 20:25 (KJV) And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it. Why is the stone that is hewn for the alter polluted? It is because it represents the works of man and we know that the works of man are polluted due to sin. By having a stone that is not hewn, it is thus a stone created and formed by God. Man cannot make any claims to the cutting, polishing, changing the stone in any manner. The stone is as it is by the hand of God. It is not defiled by the sin of man, nor his pride in saying "look what great work I have done in the hewing of this stone." What did Governor George Pataki say about the hewn stone? "Today is indeed, a momentous day. Today we take 20 tons of Adirondack granite -- the bedrock of our state -- and place it as the foundation, the bedrock of a new symbol of American strength and confidence. (emphasis mine) Pataki stated this 3 years after God's warning judgment on 9-11. We did not heed the warning after 9-11, and we did not heed the warning july 4th 2004. In fact we are still standing in defiance. Obama’s Inaugural Address given on January 20, 2009 reiterated the vow to rebuild, to begin anew and rise from the ashes on our own and without the collective prayers and sanction from God. His theme was one of defiance, note how many times he said "WE WILL" in his speech. “…Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin again the work of remaking America. … For everywhere we look, there is work to be done. The state of our economy calls for action, bold and swift. And we will act, not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth. We will build the roads and bridges, the electric grids and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together. We'll restore science to its rightful place, and wield technology's wonders to raise health care's quality and lower its cost. We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories. And we will transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. All this we will do. We will not apologize for our way of life, nor will we waver in its defense. And for those who seek to advance their aims by inducing terror and slaughtering innocents, we say to you now that our spirit is stronger and cannot be broken -- you cannot outlast us, and we will defeat you. Obama prophesied our doom with his clear cut act of defiance in the face of God. 10. On January 20, 1998 the Lewinsky Scandal erupted as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu met with President Clinton at the White House and was rudely treated by Clinton. Clinton and Secretary of State Madeleine Albright refused to have lunch with Netanyahu. Do you think the Lewinsky scandal was a coincidence? I certainly don’t. Monica was a Jewish girl and Clinton’s actions towards Netanyahu and Israel caused the scandal to occupy almost all of Clinton's time and almost ruined his presidency. 11. On September 28, 1998: Hurricane Georges struck as Secretary of State Albright worked on the final details of an agreement in which Israel would give up 13% of Judah and Samaria, Hurricane Georges slams into the U.S. Gulf Coast focusing on Alabama. Georges had 110 mph winds and gusts up to 175 mph. Georges hit the coast and stalled. On September 28, Clinton met with Yasser Arafat and Netanyahu at the White House to finalize this land deal. Later, Arafat addressed the UN about declaring an independent Palestinian state. In May 1999, as Hurricane Georges pounds the Gulf Coast, causing $1 billion in damage. At the exact time that Arafat departs the country, the storm begins to dissipate. 12. From October 17 to 22 1998 ravaged Texas.  On October 15, 1998, Arafat and Netanyahu met at the Wye River Plantation in Maryland. The talks were scheduled to last five days with the focus on Israel giving up 13 percent of its territory. The talks were concluded on October 23. On October 17, awesome rains and tornadoes hit southern Texas. The San Antonio area was deluged with rain. The rain and flooding in Texas continued until October 22 and then subside. The floods ravage 25 percent of Texas and caused over one billion dollars in damage. On October 21, Clinton declared this section of Texas a major disaster area. 13. On November 30, 1998 stock market capitalization evaporated as Arafat came to Washington to meet with President Clinton to raise money for a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. A total of 42 other nations were represented in Washington. All the nations agreed to give Arafat $3 billion in aid. Clinton promised $400 million, and the European nations $1.7 billion. On the same day, the Dow Jones average dropped 216 points, and on December 1, the European Market had its third worst day in history. Hundreds of billions of dollars in market capitalization were wiped out in the U.S. and Europe. Was this just a coincidence? What do you think? 14. On December 12, 1998 Clinton went to the Palestinian controlled section of Israel to negotiate the "land for peace" deal. Meanwhile the House of Representatives voted four articles of impeachment against Clinton. 15. March 23, 1999: Arafat met with Clinton in Washington, DC. The stock market fell 219 points that day. The next day Clinton ordered an attack on Serbia. 16. May 3, 1999: A powerful super tornado struck on the day that Yasser Arafat was scheduled to declare a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital, the most powerful tornado storm system up tp that time to hit the United States swept across Oklahoma and Kansas. The winds were clocked at 316 mph, the fastest wind speed ever recorded. The declaration was postponed until December 1999. Clinton wrote a letter to Arafat encouraging him in his "aspirations for his own land." He also wrote that the Palestinians have a right to "determine their own future on their own land" and that they deserve to "live free, today, tomorrow and forever." 17. On September 3, 1999: Secretary of State Albright met with Arafat in Israel. On the same day Hurricane Dennis slammed ashore after weeks of changing course in the Atlantic Ocean. 18. On September 22, 1999: Arafat met with Clinton in Washington, DC. The day before and after the meeting the stock market fell more than 200 points each day. This was the first time in history the market lost more than 200 points for two days in a week. The market lost 524 points that week. 19. Another terrible financial event occurred the week of October 11, 1999 while in Israel Jewish settlers were being driven from 15 West Bank settlements in order to satisfy world appeasement to the Arabs. On October 15, 1999 the U.S. Dow-Jones average plummeted 266 points or 5.7%. It was the worst drop since Oct 1989. Then on October 16, 1999 a magnitude 7.1 earthquake struck in the California desert, the 5th most powerful earthquake in the 20th century. While on the U.S. East Coast, Hurricane Irene produced torrential rains of 10-20 inches from Florida to North Carolina and wreaked havoc all along the Atlantic seaboard. Irene caused over $800 million in damages. A coincidence? What do you think? 20. June 16, 2000: Arafat met with President Clinton. The market falls 265 points on this day. 21. From July 12-26, 2000 Arafat attended the Camp David meetings while powerful droughts occurred  throughout the U.S. Forest fires exploded in West and became uncontrollable. By the end of August, 7 million acres are burnt. 22. November 9, 2000: Arafat meets with President Clinton at the White House to try and salvage the peace process. This was just two days after the presidential election. The nation was at the height of an election crisis. The worst in over 100 years.  23. On September 11, 2001 the largest terrorism event in history occurred. The World Trade Center and Pentagon terror attacks produced the most expensive insurance event in U.S. history totaling between $30 to $50 billio. At the same time the Bush administration, in cooperation with the Saudis, was completing the most comprehensive peace plan ever to be offered on Israel's covenant land by an American President. The plan was to be presented by Secretary of State Powell to the UN General Assembly. Saudi Arabia’s Prince Bandar bin Sultan stated he went from being "the happiest man in the world" on Monday night, September 10, to experiencing the worst crisis of his career on 9/11. Dreams of a new Middle East peace initiative evaporated with the terrorist acts of 9/11. The realization that most of the hijackers were Saudis "fell on me ... like the whole house collapsed over my head," Bandar said later. He couldn't imagine a way to "do more damage or worse damage to Islam or to Saudi Arabia." God's punishment to Sharon for giving away Israel's land 24. In August 2005 48 hours after President George W Bush and Condoleeza Rice substantially pressured Ariel Sharon into forcing Jewish settlers under the "Disengagement" plan to leave Gaza,  Katrina began swirling in the Atlantic ocean. Katrina destroyed New Orleans. Thousands were killed and thousands were made homeless. Hurricane Katrina spoiled the "Southern Decadence" weekend planned by the homosexual community in New Orleans that was supported by the mayor of New Orleans. On September 7th the mayor of New Orleans ordered all people to evacuate the city.   25. Now to 14 April 2010 and the United Kingdom where the British Advertising Standard Agency (ASA) decided that Israel’s tourism posters could not be used in England. What bothered the ASA so much? Israel used a picture of the Western Wall, known as the Kotel to Jews, to invite tourists to come and visit the many religious sites in the Holy Land. In the poster behind the Western Wall was the Dome of the Rock, built by the Muslims seventeen centuries after Solomon’s Temple. God says In Exodus 19:16-17 “And it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain... Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.” What was the date when the UK made the ruling that the Israeli government could no longer use a picture of the Western Wall (Kotel)? It was April 14, 2010 the very day an Icelandic volcano erupted. By the next day, the ash had covered much of Europe and all of England. Every single plane in Great Britain was grounded. Ever since Israel recaptured her ancient capital in 1967, the Western Wall has been the most recognized image of the re-born nation of Israel. One detail is forgotten by people. It was only after Jerusalem had been returned to the Jews that all the Holy Places in the Holy City were open to people of all religions. When the Jordanians controlled the Holy City, before 1967 and the Six Day War, no Jew was allowed to pray there. Moreover, at that time the Western Wall was approached through a scruffy, neglected narrow alley, with lean-to houses cramming the area a couple of meters from the Wall. So how could the British government have the audacity to tell Israeli officials they could not use the Western Wall as a symbol of Israel? The ASA claimed that readers were likely to understand that the places featured in the itinerary and poster were all within the State of Israel... “and ASA officials said the ad implied that the part of East Jerusalem featured in the poster was part of the State of Israel. ASA concluded that the ad was likely to mislead the public. A few days later, the black volcanic cloud, floated miles above the earth between Iceland and Great Britain and posed a threat to jet engines. Some of the particles in the ash clouds are plain rock dust, but others are jagged-edged shards of glass, which can get sucked into jet engines. The ash clogs up the plane’s air intake, and the glass particles actually melt inside the engine and fuse solid. For six days, planes were grounded in Great Britain and parts of Europe. The airline shutdowns was worse than 9-11, 2001. On the seventh day, (God's number of completeness) the eruption eased and England’s airports sprang to life again. Those six days cost the UK over $1.2 billion dollars! Do you think that was a coincidence? Nearly all of Europe was visited by the dark cloud. Nearly a month after the fierce explosion of ash and lava, there were still random airline disruptions across Europe because of the ash cloud. As one airline official said, “We can’t predict our flight schedules because the cloud keeps moving around.” What do these disasters mean from a spiritual aspect? First of all, it reminds us that this universe is in God’s hands. With a flick of his little finger, He can bring nations to a grinding halt and affect the affairs of men on all continents. It is God who puts kings, presidents and rulers in power. The UK’s official government spokeswoman said: “We’re all at the mercy of the volcano and there is just no way of knowing how long it will continue to erupt. We would normally be getting southwesterly winds at this time of year and it’s pretty unusual to have northerly winds dominating the weather. It’s very much a day-to-day situation at the moment. The volcano died down a bit for a spell and has now got more active.” Note what she said: it is unusual for northerly winds to sweep the clouds from Iceland down to Europe at this time of the year. It’s “usually” the other way around. Humm how coincidental! The darkness in Europe reminds us of the ten plagues of Egypt when God was determined to free the children of Israel from her Egyptian slave masters. There were three days of darkness which the Bible said was so thick that no one moved from their house. Why would such a disaster strike Great Britain and Europe? God says he will bless those who bless Israel and curse those that curse Israel. It is brazen and impudent for human beings to dictate to Israel that she cannot claim the Kotel, the wall that surrounded Antonia’s fortress . There are numerous Scriptures warning that nations must not tangle with Jerusalem. What lover of Israel doesn’t know Zechariah 12:3 “And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.” Of course, this farcical demand of not using the Kotel was only one of continuous attacks against Israel by Europeans. UK academics work tirelessly to boycott Israel’s scientists and universities and her merchants boycott Israel’s agriculture produce and manufactured goods. Of course, Europe is not by herself. The main actor now at work to divide God’s promised land, is none other than our President Obama. By coddling Israel’s enemies, and demanding that construction of new apartments in Jewish sections of East Jerusalem be stopped, Obama is bringing evil to our land. Pharaoh’s actions brought destruction to his people and his economy and the same thing is happening to us. God has clearly stated that Israel’s covenant land is not for sale. In Joel 3:2 God says “I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel... They have also divided up My land.” God does not like nations dividing up the land He promised to Israel.  26. Another serious Israeli related disaster occurred on 11 October 2010 when the Japanese laid a cornerstone in Jericho defying God's covenant with Israel. 11 January 2011 Japan condemned Israel by saying Israel had no right to East Jerusalem and endorsed a two state Palestinian plan. On 11 March 2010 Japan demanded that the Israelis stop building housing in East Jerusalem. 11 March 2011, the day of the mega quake and tsunami in Japan, Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs released this statement: “The Government of Japan deplores the decisions of the Government of Israel to give permission for the construction of 1,600 housing units in East Jerusalem...Japan demands that the plans should not be implemented." Who do the Japanese think they are to demand that God change his promise to the Jews concerning his gift of land to them. This was the first time Japan used such strong language about Israeli settlements. The Japanese earthquake and tsunami should also serve as a warning to Obama’s administration, whose State Department on March 13th condemned Israeli plans to build 500 new West Bank homes as "illegitimate." 27. In May 2011, God gave perhaps His clearest warning to America about dividing the land of Israel and touching Jerusalem. On May 19th and 22nd, Obama gave speeches outlining the U.S. policy regarding the borders of Israel. The position was that Israel had to pull back to its pre-1967 borders. This meant making Israel defenseless and dividing Jerusalem. During the May 19th speech, there was record flooding as the Mississippi River overflowed its banks and flooded millions of acres of farmland.  On May 22nd, Obama again made the same speech, and a mere seven hours after this speech Joplin, Missouri was struck by a tornado that destroyed much of the city.  It actually cut the city in half just as President Obama was trying to do to Israel.   28. The very day Hurricane Isaac formed as a tropical storm in 27 August 2012, the Republican platform committee voted to add a “two-state” position pertaining to Israel for formal convention approval. This was the second straight Republican convention postponed due to a major hurricane. This was the third straight Republican convention that became secondary news due to a hurricane. Bush was pressuring Israel during the times of the 2004 and 2008 conventions as well. The disruption of three previous Republican conventions was due to Republican positions calling for dividing the land of Israel to pave the way for the creation of a Palestinian state. 29. An  Awesome chastisement fell again on September 11, 2012. President Obama told Israel that it was on its own in fighting Iran. This was after the President had publicly stated many times that he would always be there to defend Israel. On September 11th, he also refused to meet with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when Netanyahu came to the United States. He abandoned Israel and then humiliated Israel’s Prime Minister.  Also on September 11th Muslim terrorists in Libya attacked the U.S. Embassies killing the ambassador to Libya and also destroying the U.S. compound. While in Egypt they overran the Embassy and tore down the American flag replacing it with the Muslim Brotherhood flag and shouting, “Allah Akbar.” On the same day, Moody’s threatened to downgrade the U.S. credit rating very soon if the national debt was not brought under control. This is a perfect example showing that what America does to Israel comes directly back on America. These disasters occurred on the very day of anti-Israel pronouncements. God led Israel into captivity; and now America has been warned and our captivity will soon follow. When Israel was delivered into captivity, God allowed a remnant to remain. These were people who were still loyal to Him, kept His ways and still occupied the land. I believe that God is calling out a remnant. There are not many of us. Some have submitted to the call, but there are some of you who have heard the call, but possibly are not heeding it fully. What is that call? Romans 12:1-2 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. The following what it is that we need to do… Nehemiah 1:4-11 (KJV) And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven, 5 And said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments: 6 Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned. 7 We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses. 8 Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations: 9 But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there. 10 Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand. 11 O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king's cupbearer. God's promise to His people is that if we keep His Word and commandments (Romans 12:1-2) that He will restore His people to the land dedicated to Him. Scripture says… 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Each presidential election has enormous consequences since the President’s treatment of Israel can bring a blessing or curse on the nation. This President is pursuing a policy of dividing Israel and it is bringing a direct curse on America. God is holy and we must walk in the fear of Him. This means we must realize that He will destroy America for the road of rebellion the nation is on. since God is not going to change his holy covenants. We are the ones that must change. Our only hope is to intercede and cry out to the Lord for mercy and an outpouring of His Holy Spirit. Hezekiah was told by the Prophet Isaiah, “Set your house in order, for you shall die.” Then Hezekiah humbled himself, wept, and reminded God of the good he had done for God’s Kingdom. God heard Hezekiah’s prayer and extended his life 15 years. (2 Kings 20:1-6). We need God’s mercy on America. As you remind God of the seven major ways America has been a blessing (see below), believe God will have mercy and give us more time to proclaim the gospel in America and throughout the world. Pray this prayer every day to remind God: Lord our nation has been a blessing to You and Your Kingdom. I call to Your remembrance these seven blessings: 1. America was the first Gentile nation to acknowledge that our rights come from the Creator. George Washington himself acknowledged the God of Israel created America. 2. For over a hundred years America has been the number one supporter of world missions. 3. America ended slavery in its land. 4. America stood tough and voted for Israel to be a Jewish homeland. 5. America has been a place of refuge and religious freedom for the Jewish people and other down trodden people. 6. America has led the fight for oppressed people worldwide. 7. America continues to be the number one source of humanitarian aid around the world. Friends, we will lose our nation and God will destroy our nation because of the below: 1. Defying God’s word 2. Abortion (2 Kings 24:1-4) 3. Homosexuality (2 Peter 2:6). 4. Coming against the Jew and Israel — and the major sin, dividing up the land God gave the Jewish people forever! (Joel 3:2, Genesis 12:3, 1 Kings 11:36, Psalm 105:8-11).  I have many more of these Israel linkages what we have covered the last two weeks is just the tip of the iceberg.
