I would like to add two comments about the economy. First, it was reported today that the hard core unemployed have given up filing for unemployment compensation. The reason - filings for federal Social Security Disability (SSD) have risen 66%. People are simply seeking permanent federal disability. Patriots, we cannot continue as a viable nation with more and more citizens on SSD. Secondly, I have a friend who regularly visits power plants in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, Pennsylvania etc. In every state the power plant officials are only buying what is absolutely essential to keep the plant operating. The reason - the officials told my friend the power plants are down 35% in energy producation because so many companies have simply gone out of business. I asked my friend where this business went and he said China and India.
