Veteran Recalls Bataan Death March and Shares His Faith

My wife's cousin, William York survived the Bataan Death March. He was eventually transported to Japan. William told me the atomic bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki saved his life. William said if the U.S. and its allies invaded mainland Japan the allied prisoners were going to be executed, in fact the Japs had already executed some POWs.
By the way, 30,000 Filipinos died in the Bataan Death March.
