How Could Noah Fit All The Animals Into The Ark?

This is a common question and it’s a question we have answered with one of our popular deBUNKED videos.  Borrowing from the study guide that accompanies the deBUNKED DVD, I will answer this question. 

Skeptics claim that there’s no way Noah could have fit all the animals on the ark.   

Michael Shermer,  a self-proclaimed atheist, the publisher of Skeptic magazine and director of the Skeptics Society, is quoted as having said, “There’s no possible way that Noah could have retained all 10 billion species on a single boat and then distributed them appropriately where the marsupials are all in Australia and so forth.  This is ridiculous.  It is so ridiculous I find it embarrassing for people who attempt to prove that it’s true.”

 We actually agree with Shermer that it would been impossible for Noah to have taken every known species (10 billion, according to Shermer) onto the ark.  But let’s look at the plan God had and what He told Noah to do.  This will answer the skeptics claims.

 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind…(Genesis 1:21)

And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind… (Genesis 1:25)

 Genesis tells us that God created land and sea creatures after their kind.  Kind is not the same thing as species. It’s closer to what biology calls families, with some exceptions.  Take for example the dog kind.  One female dog and one male dog can mate and produce various species—e.g. coyote, wolf and all domestic dogs. So the different species we have today could have easily been generated after the flood from the information already present within the parent kind.  A plain reading of the Bible teaches that Noah only had to take representatives of the different kinds of land-dwelling, air-breathing animals.  

 Genesis 6:20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive. 

 Through His Word, God is also very clear in telling us what died outside the ark:

 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. (Genesis 7:22)

 Noah did not need to take any sea creatures on the ark.  They are not “dry land” dwellers.  He also did not need to take any plant life on the ark.  He only took those creatures that had the “breath of life” in their “nostrils” and lived on “dry land.” 

 So how many animals is that?  Let’s do the math.

 From the genus level we can get all the different animals we see today—about 8,000 animals.  The Bible says “two of every” so let’s double that number to 16,000.  The Bible also says seven of some, so let’s increase it to 30,000.  The question arises, could 30,000 animals fit on the ark?

 Let’s consider what the average size of the animals would have been.  Take all young adult animals (the Bible doesn’t say it had to be the oldest or biggest) and calculate the average size of land animals.  The size is actually smaller than a sheep, but let’s use a sheep as the average size.  So we’ve increased both the number and the size of animals for our calculation.  

 Now the question becomes, could 30,000 sheep fit on the ark?  To answer that we must determine the size of the ark, which is not difficult.  God clearly gives us this information:

 Genesis 6:15-17  The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits.  You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above; and set the door of the ark in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third decks. 

Using a small cubit to be conservative, we can calculate the ark to have been 450 feet long, 75 feet wide and 45 feet high, with three decks, a door and a window.   This was a huge sea-worthy vessel with more than 100,000 square feet of floor space and a  cubic volume of more than 1.5 million  cubic feet, which is about the capacity of 522 railroad stock cars!

Now we must ask, how many sheep can fit into 522 railroad stock cars?  The average railroad double-deck stock car can hold about 240 sheep.  Here’s the math:  522 stock cars x 240 sheep = 125,280 sheep.

 

CONCLUSION: 125,280 sheep-sized animals can fit on 522 railroad cars.  Remember, the ark would have carried only 30,000 sheep-sized animals (average size of land animals).  There was plenty of room for all the animals, all the supplies for the year-long stay on the ark…and eight people on the ark that Noah built!

Who Is Alexis Tsipras

His name is Alexis Tsipras, and it seems that he meets much of the criteria of the prophesied Antichrist. He was just elected as the Prime Minister of Greece. He is an atheist and a far left winger. His party in Greece is called SYRIZA. He has appeared out of nowhere in the last couple of years, almost magically. He has landed himself in a most precarious situation. Greece is broken. On Sept 17, 2014 Mr. Tsipras met with Pope Francis at the Vatican. He was the first leader of a left-wing party that met the head of the Roman-Catholic church–ever. This is not surprising with this Pope, because he is rabidly ecumenical, and very “Green”,  always talking about global warming and people harming the earth. It has been said that Tsipras and the Pope get along famously, and are in one accord. No problem that one claims to be the head of the “faithful” on this earth, and the other, a staunch atheist. Could it be that there are unseen circumstances, not being divulged to the public? I would say, assuredly so.

Terry James of Rapture Ready wrote a piece on the possibility of this man being the Antichrist, but he made strong point at the beginning of the piece, telling Christians that we should be looking for the glorious appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ to Rapture His church from this earth.

Alexis Tsipras sworn into office takes Civil Oath

“Alexis Tsipras, who was sworn in earlier this week as the new Prime Minister of Greece,has become his country’s first openly atheist leader. A survey noted that atheist leaders in Europe are becoming more prominent, with France and Croatia also being led by non-religious figures.

Tsipras was sworn in on Monday after his Syriza party won the elections in Greece, but he chose not to take a religious oath at the ceremony. Reuters noted that Tsipras, whose left-wing party has opposed austerity measures, broke from tradition when he decided to take a civil, rather than a biblical oath.” [3] – source

He is the first leader of Greece to refuse to take a religious oath on the Bible in the history of the country.

Tsipras has met with Pope Francis to discuss a peace treaty with Israel:

Tsipras said: “Even though we started from different points, ideological points, we believe we have common positions in the principles of solidarity, in the principles of justice, peace and cohesion.”

“We agreed on the need to continue the dialogue between the European left and the Christian church,” he said. “There is a need to create an ecumenical alliance against poverty, inequalities, against the logic that markets and profits are above people.”” - Alexis Tsipras in meeting with Pope Francis

The Pope and the new Greek leader also discussed climate change. Pope Francis is open to everyone, well almost everyone. He embraces the Atheist, the Wiccan, really any beliefs are fine with him, as long as social justice is addressed and a common hatred of Capitalism is quite important.

Think of how the bible describes the character and nature of the Antichrist, while you read the following quote from Alexis Tsipras official website:

“We discussed the need for peace to return on earth, for the immediate cease of war interventions…asked him to take an international initiative for the termination of conflicts in the Middle East. Finally, we agreed that the dialogue between the Left and the Christian Church must go on. Alexis Tsipras as the Antichrist? Pope Francis as the False Prophet? It certainly is pretty interesting, wouldn’t you say?

George Soros backs Tsipras

“The Guardian featured an article today about George Soros and the opening of his “Solidarity Center” in Thessaloniki, Greece, the first of many he plans to open in order to help Greeks who were hit the worst by the economic crisis.”

Prophecy pastor JD Farag in Hawaii talking about this ground-breaking NTEB original story:

You see, it is a hobby of Mr. Soros to take his billions of dollars and play politics. He groomed Barack Obama for his entrance onto the world stage. He is part of the New World Order (Illuminati). Isn’t it interesting that the pre-elections took place in Thessaloniki (Thessalonica from the Bible) and now Mr. Soros has established his Solidarity Center in that same city? One thing I find fascinating is that in the Bible, the Antichrist was spoken of in much detail by the Apostle Paul in the book of 2 Thessalonians 2:

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

There are no coincidences with our God.

“According to the article Aliki Mouriki, a sociologist of the Greek National Center for Social Research said: “Greece, to a great degree, has become a failed state. It is unable to provide basic facilities for its citizens because of budget cuts. In the absence of public welfare, and with around one and a half million officially unemployed, growing numbers are looking for substitutes elsewhere.”

Last year, George Soros had offered Greek institutions 1 million dollars to buy heating oil, after mayors in different Greek municipalities requested help. “It had got to the point where some of the schools had not a drop of oil left. This month we got 20,000 tons from Soros and it has really helped. The government has now promised an extra four million euros but we have yet to see it,” said the mayor of Naoussa in Northern Greece.

George Soros has donated money for heating oil to approximately 190 Greek institutions such as orphanages, schools, nurseries and homes of the elderly and is planning to open “Solidarity Centers” around Greece. The first one opened in Thessaloniki just a few days ago and is already filled with applications.

George Soros’ philanthropy has been the subject of a great controversy. Parents’ associations all over Greece are refusing donations because they are suspicious of his motives. Yiannis Boutaris, mayor of Thessaloniki responded saying “Why Soros gives money to Thessaloniki or other Greek regions, or even to NGOs to help vulnerable groups, should not be the centre of attention. It is the fact that Greek tycoons, shipowners and those from the diaspora don’t follow his example.”[4]

Russia is looking to make an ally within its biggest enemy – Greece

The plot is beginning to thicken.

Greece’s defense minister was invited to Moscow to meet Sergei Shoygu, his Russian counterpart, in the near future. Greece is part of the 28 members of NATO. Russia has always regarded NATO is its biggest threat. Now, Russia appears to have a newfound interest in establishing a relationship with Greece’s defense minister. On Tuesday Kammenos met with both the US and Russian ambassadors to Greece.

“The discussion with the ambassador of Russia, Mr. Maslov, was also about the pending agreements between the Ministries of National Defence of Greece and Russia, the capabilities of a strategic cooperation, the organisation of the year of Greek-Russian friendship in 2016 which will take place in Greece and in Russia. I received an invitation by Russia’s Minister of Defence to visit Moscow within the next period of time,” Kammenos wrote on Greece’s Ministry of National Defense website.” [5] – source

The new Greek government at times has been critical of both the EU and NATO. Tsipras has spoken of withdrawing from NATO.

“On Nato, Syriza describes its approach as a ‘multi-dimensional, pro-peace foreign policy for Greece, with no involvement in wars or military plans.’ It seeks ‘the re-foundation of Europe away from artificial divisions and Cold War alliances such as Nato.’ … Last year on Syriza MP called for Greece to leave Nato altogether, though the comments were rapidly played down by senior officials,” writes BBC.

“The new Greek government is cause for concern, especially because Tsipras has voiced his opposition to NATO membership in the past,” Ian Bremmer told Business Insider last week. “And his early actions — these comments regarding sanctions, as well as his meeting with the Russian ambassador to Greece without hours of taking office — demonstrates that he is willing to engage differently with Moscow.”

It Was Just Like Obama’s First Election Night!”

Already there are comparisons between Tsipras and Obama. The adoring crowds. The rock star status. The people really don’t know much about their new PM. Sound familiar?

They know that Tsipras met his partner, and mother of his kids, in high school, when they both joined Student’s for Communism.

I have been digging into the Internet, attempting to find everything I can about Alexis Tsipras. What I am about to tell you will probably shock you as it did me. I want to stress that I have found this information on different Greek sites (translated of course) and it by no means proves that this is true. But if it is, then I do think that we “may” be looking at the Wicked (as the Bible calls him).

Here is what I have been reading:

“The father of Alexis Cipra, Pavlos Cipra, died in 2012. He was a billionaire with a direct link with the Mossad, he was the father of a slave BHL entrepreneur in Africa where he was trafficking in Africans. He sent dozens of Africans in Greece in order to exploit them, giving them just enough to survive in its construction companies and public travux.
The family business “SKAPANEA” was responsible for all major public works in Greece since the junta until today, construction / restoration of Orthodox churches through broadcasting. Like the Italian Mafia, the other companies have to pay a percentage to the “family” if they want to survive. “ [6] – source

Yes, you read that correctly. I have been finding people in Greece saying that Tsipras is actually “Cipra” and is of Jewish blood.

“Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.” Many End Times scholars have concluded that this passage of Scripture from Daniel 11:37 shows the Antichrist to be atheist, since he no longer regards the God of his fathers.

We as children of God, should be looking for the Blessed Hope of His appearing to catch us away from this wicked planet. But we should also be watchmen on the wall, discerning the times and events. In this way, we will be more informed to share our thoughts and Scripture with others.

And when I look at Tsipras/Cipra – I see someone who may just be the man of sin of which the Bible speaks.

We won’t be here, but this should give us pause, and make us realize that we need to share the Gospel with everyone we know!

The GI Horror Of Dealing With Depleted Uranium Sickness WR15-54

“Trooper”, is a beautiful, heart-wrenching film that offers far more than empathy. It dares viewers to explore a disturbing corner of the Iraq War, a realm that no film has yet to touch: the blight of depleted uranium (DU) poisoning, which has infected thousands of Iraq veterans but is yet to be acknowledged by the Pentagon and is virtually unknown to the American public."

Depleted Uranium has been killing our troops since Gulf War I.

The film follows Murphy O'Shea (Martini), a specialist who returns home from Operation Iraqi Freedom to a New York City suffused with sunshine and tranquility. Murphy's friends welcome him home, but the specialist feels strangely locked out of their joy and clouded by an odd illness. The doctor at the local V.A. doles out some pills and tells him it's 'just some post-traumatic stress'. But the grueling headaches, chronic diarrhea, and some bizarre burns on his shoulder hint that something more is going on.

The Veteran's Administration has deliberately dragged their feet on taking care of our heroic veterans who breathed in this contaminated air as they patriotically served their country in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Our soldiers were and are being put in harm's way by our own weapons system. The soil in Iraq was completely contaminated with depleted uranium. That's why GIs are getting sick. The radioactive particles, they last forever. Iraqis and the remaining Americans are still breathing the stuff.

This fact is one of the saddest realities of this entire tragic story; our leaders are knowingly placing weapons in our soldier's hands that will kill them. They suffer years of debilitating disease brought on by uranium poisoning. How is this possible?

Upon impact, a D.U. shell dissolves into fine deadly dust which spreads through the air and falls both on the ground and on vehicles. Persistent, fierce windstorms then pick this dust up, blowing it up to 1,000 miles from its original source. All it takes for a person to start dying is to breathe in one tiny contaminated dust speck! Our soldiers are far, far more at risk than the heavily protected nuclear waste workers.

The very fact that the Pentagon could get by with such a monstrous lie on an issue which should be instinctively understood by the vast majority of Americans is testimony of the effectiveness of the propaganda with which Americans have been fed, and to the controlled complicity of the “Lame Stream” Media.

John Hanchette, editor of USA Today from 1991 to 2001, in a recent interview with anti-DU activist Leuren Moret, said he had written several news stories about the effects of DU on gulf war veterans. Every time he was ready to publish a story about the devastating illnesses afflicting soldiers, however, the Pentagon called USA Today and pressured him not to publish the story."

The Pentagon is denying that the various illnesses being suffered by our troops is caused by depleted uranium poisoning. How can they get away with this monstrous lie?

A doctor trained in modern desert warfare warned us in May-June, 2003, that the uranium would act as a 'wild card', causing people to die of various ailments. While none could be "officially" tied to DU, the fact of the matter was that DU was most definitely the common denominator of all of them.

The Pentagon realizes that, if anyone could prove that they knowingly sent brave soldiers into battle, knowing that the very weapons they were given to fight the enemy would kill them eventually, they would be open to lawsuits that would cripple even the Government. This issue is one of the saddest imaginable for the patriotic Americans who answered the call from the White House to fight an enemy called "terrorism"!

The Fast of Esther, Purim and Netanyahu's Speech Before Congress

Religious leaders and your Watchman are warning that the United States is nearing a day of judgment based on its treatment of the nation of Israel.

The signs in the heavens are coinciding with what is shaping up to be an unexpectedly controversial address by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on March 3 and a fiercely contested Israeli election weeks later.

Pastor Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries warns that “our nation will be judged” based on whether the United States sides with or against the Jewish state.

Biltz believes signs in the heavens and correlations with feast days on the biblical calendar show such a judgment may be coming soon.


“When Netanyahu speaks before Congress on March 3, this is the day before the Fast of Esther when the enemies of Israel, specifically Persia/Iran, had planned to destroy the nation of Israel,” he said. “The next day is Purim, which celebrates the day Israel achieved victory over Iran. The timing significance of this is just as important as the timing of the blood moon.”



Biltz, author of “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs,” warns that the next blood moon is scheduled to appear over Passover, which begins April 3, just one month after Netanyahu’s speech.

And this will be preceded two weeks earlier by a total solar eclipse on March 20, three days after the Israeli election, and coincides with Nisan, the beginning of the New Year according to the biblical calendar.
Biltz points out that the Bible says in Genesis that the sun, moon and stars were created specifically as signs for mankind, so His creation would know about the feasts (or appointed times) to have relationship with their Creator.

These prophetic warnings come amid unprecedented tumult in the American-Israeli relationship.

President Barack Obama and other leading Democrats say they will not be attending Netanyahu’s speech, and the White House condemned House Speaker John Boehner’s invitation as a breach of protocol.

Rep. Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, is circulating a letter signed by 22 other House Democrats urging Boehner to delay the speech.

Top staffers in the Obama administration are also heavily involved in the political opposition to Netanyahu, who faces an election on March 17.

“God tells us in Genesis 1:14 that the heavenly bodies were created to serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years,” Biltz said. “But the word seasons is better translated as divine appointments, and here we have a solar eclipse and then a blood moon falling on the New Year and Passover respectively – all at a time when the Jewish state is under great persecution. God is trying to tell us something about a divine appointment.”

Pastor Ray Bentley of Maranatha Chapel in San Diego, California, enthusiastically agrees with Biltz and warns that Christians need to be “praying like they never prayed before.”

“Rabbis have a saying,” Bentley said, “that the word coincidence is not a kosher word. These kinds of signs show we are in a powerful, phenomenal time, a time of great testing for both Israel and the world.”

Bentley believes Israel is facing a “second Holocaust” and that Christians need to become more vocal in their defense of the Jewish state.

Pastor Biltz agrees and says the fact that Israel has become a partisan issue is nothing less than tragic.

“This shouldn’t be political,” Biltz said. “This is about the survival of Israel. Iran is the issue of the day. It is developing nuclear weapons. And our own nation will be judged depending on how it acts in this moment.”

Both Biltz and Bentley cited Joel 3:2 to justify their positions. The verse says the nations will be judged by God for having scattered the people of Israel among the nations and divided its land.

As Biltz puts it, “God says he will divide the sheep from the goats, one nation from another, and he will do it on the basis of those who supported Israel and those who didn’t.”

Laurie Cardoza-Moore, founder of Proclaiming Justice to the Nations and special United Nations envoy for the World Council of Independent Christian Churches, said Israeli-American nations are at a crucial juncture.

“This is a critical turning point,” she said. “It seems that with Obama’s presidency, every year that goes by the relationship between Israel and the United States becomes more strained, and not because of the Israeli prime minister. The overwhelmingly majority of Americans support Israel and believe Israel has the right to defend itself against terrorism. But this president is trying to undermine Prime Minister Netanyahu.”

Cardoza-Moore believes Obama’s agenda goes behind simple opposition to Netanyahu.

“I see this as anti-Semitism,” she said. “The president of the United States has bought into the BDS movement.”

The BDS movement is the “Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions” campaign taking root on college campuses and in churches around the country. The goal of the campaign is to economically strangle the Jewish state to force concessions to the Palestinians.

However, Cardoza-Moore believes Netanyahu will receive a rapturous reception in Congress, “the body that really represents that American people. You will see standing ovation after standing ovation for this man.”

In her film, “The Forgotten People: Christianity and the Holocaust,” producer Laurie Cardoza-Moore documents the growing hatred of Jews, the parallels between Nazism and radical Islam and why Christians must take a stand for justice and defend the people and nation of Israel.

Pastor Bentley warns that “the nations will be judged collectively” on what they do in this moment. And he believes Christians need to be talking just as much about prophecies of the End Times as they do about prophecies of the past.

“We are told that Israel will be alone during this time,” Bentley said. “We may be seeing the beginnings of that process.”

Cardoza-Moore sees the controversy over Israel as core to the survival of the United States.

“There will be judgment upon this nation based upon how we act right now,” she said. “That’s all I can say.”

This is also a Shemitah year, the worst of the worst usually happens at the end of the Shemitah year, not at the beginning. The last day of the year, Elul 29 on the Hebrew calendar, will occur on Sept. 13, 2015 and is the most dreaded day.

And it is very interesting to note that there will also be a solar eclipse on September 13th, 2015. Over the past century, there have only been two other times when a solar eclipse has corresponded with the end of a Shemitah year. Those two times were in 1931 and 1987, and Jonathan Cahn said those solar eclipses foreshadowed major financial disasters.

In 1931, a solar eclipse took place on Sept. 12 – the end of a “Shemitah” year. Eight days later, England abandoned the gold standard, setting off market crashes and bank failures around the world. It also ushered in the greatest month long stock market percentage crash in Wall Street history.

In 1987, a solar eclipse took place Sept. 23 – again the end of a “Shemitah” year. Less than 30 days later came “Black Monday” the greatest percentage crash in Wall Street history.
